There is a lot of variation in movement analysis, please don't assume that everything said here applies to you.
This is not medical advice, if you're concerned about an injury get it checked by a medical professional.
Bro, you just saved me $20 from going out and buying another one of these braces. I was looking for it the other day and couldn't find it but am glad to have seen this video before buying a replacement brace. Looking forward to seeing more your content on ways to correct this issue naturally.
Now we need a vid on how to keep hips straivht
You should do a full video on improving posture
There are no quick fixes for posture but here's a tip: bottom's up
Start to fix your feet posture (and how you put weight on them) and go up the chain. If you have back pain, seing a foot doctor will help immensely.
Great information as always. You put it in a way that i can understand well. Really appreciate ur videos 🙏🏼 the parts where you break down parkour is the best
PLEASE do weighted vests next!!
I do tell everyone about your content lol, good video Theo!
Great video, I'd really wish for you to explain HOW you changed your posture in those 6 years!
so talking about how ineffective orthotics are for the feet, do you also recommend barefoot shoes to your clients? Or are normal shoes fine as long as you maintain good biomechanics?
Its not about the shoe, its about how you stand.
thanks theo - i've just been focussing on trying to pull shoulders back/downwards. fixing up the hips will be a big help
I discoverd somewhat of a quick fix for myself that really helped me.
When I feel that my posture sucks I stretch my arms right above my head as if I want to touch the ceiling. I keep my ears between my biceps. Then I pump up my upper chest by breathing in deep. Then I let my arms down to normal position while keeping the air in my chest and then I breath out while trying to keep my chest in the same upward position.
Great video by the way. Really enjoyed it!
Fiiirst. Love your content dude
me too
When I'm ill or tired and I start hurting from slouching, I wear mine as a reminder, like a subconscious alarm for me to straighten up when I feel the resistance to my slouching.
a montho ago i realized i wasnt using my lower back ever to stand up. i've been using my spine while my hips tilted anteriorly. no support, no stability
Try using your glutes to stand up. They are the thing that supports your pelvis (which your spine is attached too).
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
