As a woman who has had long hair for 2 years of my adult life (I'm 62), I am genuinely curious as to why someone would choose to have hair that prevents them from having an active life -- or can one actually play sports or be active (ie, get sweaty) and maintain long hair?
It is not true that it prevent us from leading an active life. I am 21 years old and right now I have butt length hair. My hair used to touch my knee two years ago before the big trim. I choose to keep my hair long because of my family tradition as my grandma and mom had long hair like me. I think It's a personal choice. I myself right now in bule belt senior in karate. So I am also active on sports. Maintaining long hair is an act of self love to me and I always love to take care of my hair. But ofcourse if someone feel more comfortable in short hair, they should follow their heart😊❤
