Yea he gets stunned by the palm strike of arc staff giving you better survivability compared to gathering storm. When I tried using gathering storm, I would end up dying during DPS, through lament heal, due to ads and the boss constantly shooting me.

I would never think Arc Blade would be that good against him. I’ll have to use this strat thanks :)

Did you find more success with Star Eater Scales than Radiant Flux?
I tried raiden flux. No overshield on raiden flux makes it really risky and not worth using and star eater seemed to be doing more dmg as well.
