Big Lap S2 Ep 23 - Middle Lagoon | Pender Bay | First Aid Injury | Dampier Peninsula

In this video we head up into the Dampier Peninsula and make our way through some muddy tracks to get to Middle Lagoon. Here we camped right on "The Ridge" which overlooked the beautiful bay and had the most amazing sunsets. The kids could go down to the beach and swim while we wet a line right on the same beach. After 4 nights here we hitched up and did a MASSIVE 7km drive around the corner to Pender Bay. We stayed another 4 nights here and what a fantastic spot to relax. Things take a turn for the worst when our youngest boy slices his hand open on the rocks, lucky we have a Registered Nurse/Midwife on hand to attend to the injury. This shows the importance of a well stocked First Aid Kit when travelling full time. After all the commotion we take a stroll up the beach to find Love Rock and then another walk at low tide reveals a majestic rock pool under a sweeping rock formation.

Thanks so much, we are through the Kalgoorlie School of the Air as we were residents there and could get access to their program. It is an amazing way of schooling and if you can manage to get in with any School of the Air you will not be disappointed :)

Do you have to book sites in cape leveque or can you just rock up

Pender bay you need to book, actually, most of these places you need to book... jump on WikiCamps and go to the campsites and it will tell you ;)
