I have used picture frame easels from Hobby Lobby or Michaels to display tiles. No chance of them falling off the wall and breaking. They come in different sizes, and you can keep them on a higher shelf away from traffic walking by.

So excited that you didn't have to move again! Haha! I just moved my Kindergarten classroom down the hall! I love my new space, but moving a whole classroom is a lot of work! Haha

Very thoughtful and inclusive classroom.
Your classroom has windows!!!! My classroom has no windows and it gets hot and stuffy too!!! I like my classroom to feel like my own home where I can open my windows and let some fresh air in and keep odors out. In my windowless classroom I use a wax warmer with wax melts. Plus, I have an air filter to get rid of odors.

I did not have the best student teaching experience. I had some very realistic expectations that were not met. All that to say, your student teacher will appreciate all you are doing for her 🩷 You will be a WONDERFUL mentor!! What do you do if one student misbehaves in the hallway . Consequences you use for this? Do you hold their hand ? Also where do you sit student that need more time and attention from you to stay focused ? Where would they sit next to you?
