I can imagine the Year 8 saying something like “I said no. I realise that this might be hard to grasp for someone of your intelligence but it doesn’t change the answer.”
I as a yr 8 can confirm I actually said that to and older year when there younger brothers in our yr kept telling us to get of a bench funny part is I was the only yr 8 bc they was talking to very new like one week new yr 7s
Yeah, I was thinking the whole time: Isn't it more embarrassing that you, a bunch of 16/17(18?)yo "have to" gang up on a young girl over a lunch table?!?
I’ve been one of these year 8s with year 11s demanding we move. They literally put their bags down and stood their as well. Me and my friends (10 of us - so no space for all of us at any other table) just sat still and talked around them, til a teacher eventually asked what’s up. We said nothing is up, and watched the year 11s dig their own hole 😂 this happened multiple times
It's funny especially since it happened where in year 9 a group of year 8s told us to move and called us year 7s they did not like the fact they were the younger ones
When they say that they'll just stand there until we move, I would just finish off my lunch, chatting with my friends and have some background noise! LOL.
You sell every single one of these characters so well just by the tone of voice you deliver the dialogue in but also...the costume design is impeccable? It's like I'm back in high school.
I vividly remember starting high school aged 13 and being utterly terrified of the older years back then. I’d absolutely have died on the spot if a year 11 had demanded I move from “their” table 😂 luckily I seem to have raised 3 kids who would not stand for this treatment for a second. Ha.
They’re literally all the same accent. Just very slight differences in her tone and the way some words are said to accentuate the traits of each character, such as elongating the last syllable on the last word of a sentence, something that is also a common trait of ‘bitchy’ American characters. There’s no difference in terms of her geographical accent in any video I’ve seen.
I think about half way in to this interaction I would just be like "Ok I'm going. I don't particularly want to be in your presence anyway so I'm more than happy to go."
I'm from Chicago and love watching you talk to yourself. you could literally just make a compilation of everytime you've ever said Macie, and I'd be completely entertained
I would’ve been like “if anyone should be embarrassed, it’s you. You’re the one who’s 3 years older trying to pick a fight with me just because I sat here, and you’re the one being all childish saying you’ll stand here until I move. Act your age and find another table.”
The amount of girls that were like this when I was in ur 7 and 8 🤦🏼♀️ I always stood my place and just ignored them until they gave up (because they always did), I also had to deal with boys and girls like this in queues and I would hold onthe the barrier and wall and block them from pushing in, they recognised me after a while and stopped trying it with me 😅
I had this happen to me. I told her she could stand as long as she liked because I wasn’t moving (I was Yr 10 and she was Yr 11). She stood there for a few minutes then pushed me off my seat and sat in my seat. I got up, grabbed her by the hair, pulled her off the seat and push her onto the ground then lost my absolute sh!t. Grabbed her bag and started beating her with it. I saw a Teacher coming and I stopped, Year 11 cried about how I attacked them and I told the teacher she touched me first when she pushed me out of my seat. Teacher took her side and I was out in inside school suspension (isolation).
When I was younger I used to be bullied all the time by older students but I’m now in year 11 and I’m still getting bullied but by year 9s It’s horrible
I'm so glad I never experienced this in school. All I had was the rumors behind my back that my 'friends' told me about, but wouldn't tell me what they were. Still curious 10 years later. 😂
i mean to me and my friends’ defence bc if covid each year had designated areas so yr 11s and yr 8s weren’t supposed to share spaces, and we asked nicely but they were being rude to us (we just went to our form tutor bc arguing is tiring 😭). these days younger years are getting braver lmao
When I was in year 9 I was kinda like this 😮 it wasn’t for the whole table, but I had a specific seat that I could only sit in because of my autism, spd and ocd 🤣
Year 9 here and I wouldn’t even dare asking the year 7s to move. Half of them are taller than me and extremely violent rascals. They don’t take bs from anyone 😂
This would happen to me on the school bus too, one time I was so over it and dug in my heels and they got sooo pissed off, but I held out for long enough until the bus started to move and the driver yelled at them to sit down. They picked on my for the rest of the year as a result but it was honestly worth it to see their faces when they got yelled at to sit their asses down lmao.
When I was in yr11 another person in my year poured Vimto on my head and my friends cause they wanted to sit on these benches then throw fire cracker things at us
This happened to me and my friends in year 7. We just sat down to eat and a group of Year 11’s came upto us and told us to move, even started moving our stuff without our permission. We said no and they crowded round our table like a cult, it was terrifying
I remember being in year 7 on the back of the bus and I got told by the year 11s to move spaces. When I got into year 11, it was my turn to sit back at my seat.
I was in a similar situation and I just said "oh this is your table? So sorry but it's mine now and good bye" they called for the teacher and me and my friends start to cry and say they were being mean and they got banned from tables.
Bro this happened to me on my last week of year 11 but the other way around, we were sat on a random table and they just came and sat with us and tried interrupting our conversation about my friends business exam. My friends are petty af but I was low key ready to move, Miss them a little bit they were chaotic.
Something similar happened to me. Poppular girls in my year came up to us and told use to move bc it was their spot but we didn’t love so they sat with us and we just kinda sat their in silence
Some time in year 7 I was sitting alone at the edge of a table and this guy walks up to me and tells me to move. There were free seats everywhere, and he was obviously just trying to assert dominance, so I started to tell him "well why should I move?" Then, his friend twice my side that was standing outside of my peripheral vision moved in and also told me to move, and I did, and even said sorry. That day twenty years ago, at 13 years of age, I learned that I was just a shitty cowardly background character, unlike seemingly 95% of people on the internet who recount stories that start like that.
My daughter just started Yr 11 and she said the Yr 7s are feral this year. The other day one shoved a teacher in the corridor and he went flying, nothing happened to them. Wtaf
@@probablytired5911 I just started year 9 and a year 7 had a crush on me and thought I was their age. That kid literally stalked me and tried to hit on me 💀 I’ve heard of the year 7s getting into all sorts of fights. It’s not even October half term yet
I something like this happen the other day with a year 11 and a year 7 but the year 7 got terrified and then ran off and the sad part is it was my best friends little sister so then the little sister comes over to us and just kinda vibed with us cause non of her friends were in for one reason or another And then there was another thing like this between a year 7 and a year 11 but this year 7 shoved the year 11 and the year 11 went backwards into a table behind them
I was only suspended from school twice in my life, one for beating up a guy for mocking the special needs class the other was for a similar situation as this…saw a guy pressuring and bullying 2 others that weren’t necessarily all that popular. I yelled across lunchroom and he yelled back then turned away. I walked over called out his name and punched him in the throat to watch him fall. I walked to the office and turned myself in
At my school we made it where you could sit freely so we would sit in central hallway to eat. It used to be a rule in the agenda that you had to sit at a table during lunch. Since there were never chairs free we'd sit in the hall until the rule was taken out of the agenda.

When she says she'll stand there until we move I'd just say "fine by me" and carry on eating lunch

Lol 😂

I’m 31 and this was very stressful for me.

25 and it brought back high school triggers 😭

This reminds me of a Catherine Tate sketch like "am I bovered? Look at my face am I bovered?"
Yes! I thought of the same thing!
lol yh i.was just watching that 🤣🤣🤣

At this point I don't even know what Monica's real accent is. She does them all so well.

Year 11’s did this once to me when I was in year 8. I stood my ground and didn’t move. One of my greatest achievements to date
This is really funny, it never really crossed my mind that you could just say no when someone asks you to move 😂
The frosted lips are so triggering 😆😆😆 so funny!!
Flashbacks to when the popular girls tried to _sic their boyfriends on me and my friends_ for “stealing” a window seat 😭💀
I can't believe how accurate this is
So realistic, I had to pause the video in order to maintain my composure.
This is fantastic, I can see the specific group in my mind saying these exact words
The makeup style is so accurate 😭 (though of course i know the intensity depends on your gen/era😅)

Best way to deal with these people, stare at them, say no, put on some ear defenders and say “What?” Then continue with your day. 😂

To be fair that’s an extreme reaction to a seat lol, both of you. She just pushed you, you beat her up. I would’ve punished both students
I'd love to see a second part to this one, the popular girls' reaction.
