@@TheCampingStitcher I think it's a great number and they are very different in size. My problem is I have too many giant ones and want to start more. I went from 40 wips down to 2 and now I am back up over 40 and loving all the variety.

26😂 lovely WIPs you have! I enjoyed the color commentary with each one! Kringle looks so good, you have the worst of it done..the roof and the building. I had that chart with the called for fabric and floss but it intimidated me so I sold the whole shebang to a very nice Canadian stitcher. I've been whittling my WIPs down; I now have 19 I think. Love, love, love seeing your fabric choices on each project! My taste is very much like yours. Maybe if you stitched Consider the Lilies on the 25/7 philosophy. It is a biggie!! I untwist my Dinky Dyes into the loop form, and rinse it in cool water, hang to dry, then cut my lengths. Much easier to work with.

Enjoyed the video! Congratulations on your retirement, I was fortunate to retire 3 years ago during the pandemic after over 40 years in the classroom. I don’t have as many wips as you do but we are doing 2 of the same projects, Kringles and Let Love Reign. Gotta love the big kids.😂

31 Wips for your 31st episode? Lol, I don't know, I lost count!! I applaud you, especially those "big girls"! But That would give me anxiety. I always have 3 in progress , a Christmas, a Sabbath and whatever else (right now FQS Summer quarterly), that's all I can handle and remain sane, sort of!

I am working on a Tisket a Tasket too !!! Love it. Am going to get 10-15 hours in on it this month. I have been working on the inner borders just to get a "simple" foundation in place. Love it.

Great WIP parade! You and I have similar taste in stitching. Like you, I love Plum Street and agree, “purchase all the Plum Street”.
I will join along in the #schoolsoutforeverSAL and stitch The Pink House sampler by Plum Street. I retired two years ago and never started a project to commemorate the occasion. Happy retirement!

Loved seeing all your WIPS! I feel the same way about Dinky Dye silk. Love the colors but the texture is fluffy and kinky so hard to get the stitches to lay right. Plus, it’s a little thicker than DMC so not sure how it would stitch on some of the tight 40 counts.
Took both allergy meds, asthma med, flushed my eyes out, put on air cleaner to keep the smoke away to keep a clear head. Watched all yours lovelies again, much as if I were studying for a test. The total number is…..30 wips! Funny how when you watch something over one’s sees thing one might have missed the first time around. Lovely collection of stitching, so beautiful. You should have a very happy retirement stitching away on your 30 wips.

Momma mia!! 😂 Please stop enabling us!! When you go camping how many Wips do you take? I have normally been one at a time but I sometimes will do some smalls in conjunction with a bigger project. I am asking because our camper is only 32' and my husband will roll his eyes when I pack too much...😆Your stitching is lovely and I really enjoyed the WIP parade! I was thinking 32 but I got so sidetracked I lost count!
lol, thank you. It depends on how long I'll be away - this last trip I took three wips and they fit nicely in a small carry bag, along with my Halo go light and my do-dad case - I also brought my little book stand. I can do a quick video on how I pack for a trip. If I'm going for a longer length of time, I'll throw a few more projects in, but they don't take up much more room and the bag fits nicely in the bottom of our closet.
Love the new you! Retirement suits you well and, yes, words are difficult! You seem so relaxed and just a hoot to watch. Enjoyed the WIP parade, get stitching! 💚

Thanks. For showing all your WIPS! I don't know that I would ever tackle one of the "big girls", but there are certainly parts of the pattern I would try to make a smaller piece. I tend to pick projects that I perceive to be small or medium in size, but it still takes me awhile to stitch them. Love your projects, and here's to more time to stitch since you're retired!

This is what I do to Untwist any floss if dropping the needle doesn't work. I do a railroad stitch or 2, and then resume my normal stitching. Let me know if it works for you. 😃
That's what I normally do too - this just is twisted straight from the start. very strange.

Chris- I love love love Autumn Quakers...l and I am on 1-2-3 right now. I do want to do it on a 36 count fabric. I have never worked with the Vildani - are you using a single thread ? I think this may be my birthday start in September.
I am using a single thread - I think it looks so nice on the 36 ct. Let me know if you want more pics of it.
