Its not about being able to dive with it its more about the amount of air you get so you do not pass out as some masks are very poor on air circulation due to having very narrow breathe tubes, that is the most important part of any full face mask, cheap masks can make your kids pass out due to lack of air venting in and out .
+DarkSagan that could be an option but with the Diving variant they put two pins inside the maks which pinge your nose to equalize. We suspect the air pocket in the mask is to big to equalize and therefore they didn't put the pins in
I really don't know those other masks because they are not available in Europe. They do look a lot like the Oceanreef. Typically cheaper masks use cheaper materials to make the mask. What we see in Europe with likewise masks is that the straps and the skirt of the mask are of a lesser quality and might become uncomfortable after a while. Also make sure the mask lens is flat on the front.
No it didn't break but you can't equalize your ears when going down because most people need to pinch their nose to do it. Also because of the big air space in the mask you need to equalize the mask as well which takes a lot of blowing air out of your nose.

Seems like they could make a near perfect ask if they just made the area right over the bridge of the nose soft so you could equalize.

Dude, my sons daycare just gave these masks to all the kids for free, just have to buy the snorkel. He's 2 years old lol. So awesome.
How is this mask different than Vaincre 180 and Seaview 180? Besides the price.

what happens when breathing in under water?
You can't. There is a dry top on the top of the snorkel which closes it off when you go underwater.
but there has to be some air left inside the mask? what happens when you breath in that air?
There is some air still in your mask but it is close to 1% of the amount you breath in every inhalation.
