The Great Lent season begins this Monday March 8, so mark your calendars. The Great Lent season lasts for 55 days, with each week of the fast being associated with a specific theme.
Let’s use these days of the great lent to prepare and cleanse our soul for the life of repentance and a life that is in communion with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Let your eyes…read the scripture;
Let your ears…listen to the word of God;
Let you hands…give to those in need;
Let your mouth…confess the sins and be in communion with God;
Let you feet…walk towards the church and attend church services.

Because my friend asked me and he's not orthodox Christian he doesn't speak amaric as well, he believe another religion but he is very impressed to know about our religion.
@@derejeabere2160 I know you’re not asking me, but since you commented under my comment. The Old Testament means, before Jesus Christ came on earth, and the New Testament is what Jesus teaches us the right way to God.

Do you have any recommendation for the Ethiopian Bible in English and where to get it???? Thanks 🙏
At the moment there is no direct Ethiopian orthodox bible in english but there is "the orthodox study bible" it is a great bible translated from the original greek and has all the books removed from the protestant canon, plus it has foot notes (by early church fathers) and is a great and correct bible for english speaking orthodox Christians, and i think Gorgorios Dejene uses it as well -> 0:01 and I recomend you check it out here are some links (you can get it on amazon, the top 2 links are UA-cam reviews the last one is the amazon link):

@@masershazemenfes1288 ( same person as Roman fabris, different account) well the king james is one of the most accurate but it has been changed, and is not translated from the original greek but from the maserotic and some books have been removed so i recommend the orthodox study bible and please not the king james (make sure your bible has more than 77 books if possible all 81)
