I cheaped out and mine only lasted year before it started leaking at the dial. Replaced it with OEM. Cost me more and I had to do it twice. Caveat emptor.
Yup just happened to me, I needed to replace the petcock on my Honda xr100 2003 and the bolts wouldn’t come loose and rounded the bolts so now I have to buy a new gas tank but can’t find one anywhere for a reasonable price. Do you know where I can find a gas tank for a good price?

You are lucky the two petcock bolts came out that easy. Most of them I mess with won’t come loose without messing up the tank.
