- Here is the story on my mistake that cost me at least $8,000. This is the first time that this has ever happened to me, and you can bet it will be the last... lol. I hope you guys learn from my mistake and this never happens to you. Good luck and thanks for the support!

Wellmark I'm glad you're teaching the world about what not to do... That was a tough break right there brother.. emotional end of the business trying to get all your ducks in a row to keep your sponsors happy and we lose track of what we should be focusing on at the moment and that would be those five fish you gotten that live well.. you know you had five fish in that live well when you call them today and headed for the dock. Something musta sidetracked your thinking process when you grab that call flip and talked it out of the way without getting that last fish and your bag.. that's a tough break right there but I'm glad you're sharing it with everybody so we can all learn from it.. I will say this though that God has a way of gifting you back what you supposedly lost by sharing this with everybody and turning a negative into a positive and that's a good way to be thinking brother that's a good way to be thinking... I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming tournaments this year and may God be with you and ride along in your boat and keep everybody safe and happy and successful in the meantime

Man Im watching the scores on MLF Live and I watching you, B. Lat, J. Wheeler, and Mark Rose. Excited bcuz you guys showed up on day 1! I look at the day 2 final weights and I see that you were like 54th and Im wondering if youre boat broke down or something bcuz I just knew you were gonna advance. Dang That’s tough man! It’s really easy to screw up like that, especially with fatigue, or nerves in the mix. I had one launch out of the live well, and out of the boat while I was bagging em one time. Only cost me a few $100, but it still hurt plenty!

That is a tough break. Had a boater who had almost the same thing happen. He thought he had them all and I counted as he pulled them out. He still had on in the LiveWell hiding in the corner that he didn't see. And how many times have you lost count of your fish and thought you had a limit and catch a small keeper and go it won't help and toss it back then realize, damn I only have 4. Best of luck the rest of the season
