Love Triton boats. I just picked up my first bass boat. It’s a 2003 Triton TR186 and I love it. It’s in really good shape for its age and running a Mercury XR6 150 2 stroke. She’s a little cold natured but once she gets started she scoots lol

I really like the boat. I have always been a Triton guy as well. I am currently looking at new boats and am considering this one. I know you have the input with the guys at Triton so please ask them to change a couple things, one, add compression shocks to all of the lids not just a few. For one it makes the boat look cheap plus the dang lids smack you in the head when a gust of wind hits them while there open. Especially the back lid while trying to work on batteries. Second, put a different design switches in it. Those look like something that you would buy at the dollar store. Lastly, take the carpet out of the rod lockers like the Rangers. Other than that I think they have a winner!

Even though wheeler left them for likely business reasons, looks like they put together a solid rig. DC did a great job going through his rig
Yo! DC, I use 100% biodegradable "whipes" for those hefty situations that they call for on occasion. They biodegrade within 45-60 days, and not chemicals ,bleach or anything that could cause any "affliction" to nature. I also carry around extra trash bags ( vegetable based plastic ,also biodegradable within 45-90 days) so...I'm good with those products...thanks Amazon...only cuz it's easy and they have them accessable for delivery overnight when you just need them.
But yeah! Every time I go fishing I always have extra trash bags to gather less eco- friendly fisherman. Cuz an angler wouldn't leave his trash, extra line etc. Just floating around for a bird or fish/fishes to get hung up in.
Almost everytime I'm out I spend half an hour to an hour cleaning up leftover line, bobbers etc. That other "lazy" or just crap folks leave out there. Not cool! Nature doesn't produce fishing line that gets caught on birds that are protected like herons, hawks , eagles etc...and the Ol' James River here in RVA ( Richmond Virginia) has a lot of lazy fisherman that break of 30-49-50 ft of line.
Eventhough Ive collected a skunk for 2023. I know I have cleaned up the water, tree line and so on. Wether that makes a difference or not, I don't care. Just trying to make the river a better place for all folks that visit it. Especially the heavy K9 traffic that happens aty local wading spot. Fishing line,hooks and bobbers...no bueno for dogs trying to have a cooling dip
Sick boat brotha. One thing I can say about that boat I wished they added gas struts to the rear compartment and had it open the other way. Looks like a hassle to work on your battery compartment when your on the water with the lid opening that direction.

No boat sadly. But hoping to get this kayak repaired ....and MODDED out so I can work it like a bass boat. It will run super shallow ( like 3-6 inches ) but! She has a leak I have yet to find. But! I have worked fiber glas and epoxy before...and I have a connection with 1/2 rubber liner I can hear weld or silicone to the hull for some added protection.
Basically I wanna make it a SUP... A kayak with a standing platform cuz honestly...it kinda sucks not being able to see "into" the water. Reading current and all has come to me. But, it helps being able to see from above. Sorry to be long-winded sir. Great video! Beautiful boat... But yeah, pipe dream for now. Keep hooking them biggunz sir!

I went with a new Ranger z521 last year, and it’s been my favorite bass boat in 24 years.
Still doesn’t compare to my Regulator Tuna/Marlin boat, though. Marlin is the only thing I like more than bass tournament fishing.

LOVE the boat! Just picked my new 20xp up on Friday. She's bad. How the heck do you turn on the oxygenators though?? The boys at Bass Pro didn't even know when I picked it up.

I'm anti-Johnny Morris to the core, but this is the sweetest rig to come out in a while. Almost seems like they brought back a little of the original X-series, with a few cues in the back end from Gambler. Excited to hear the numbers

The xp will eventually be in 18 thru 21 footers. The xp is the next up from the trx as the trx is soon to be discontinued in the upcoming few years

tubes in the port rod box? shows them in pictures but thought you said no???? are boxes glass like a ranger? and are boxes lined or bare glass/plastic, just watched the factory tour again and couldn't tell? have a new 519 Ranger but hate the boxes so looking to order a 20xp appreciate your help and replies!!
Triton's boxes don't have a gelcoat finish they are just glass. That is why they put the felt carpet inside them.

Why do you carry the spare battery?
Always good to have a spare but some tournaments during practice I am out sun up to sun down and I am on the trolling motor all day. I can run them dead on those days
