I think the reason we remember the Titanic, is because of how sure we were that it wouldn’t sink. It was a wake up call that no matter how well built something is, tragedy can still occur. That’s why I think we remember the Titanic the way we do.
One of the weirdest true stories is that a lifeboat from the titanic was found a year later wither five bodies on it. This information can be found in the lawsuit trials following the sinking.
Quick fun fact: Jymn Magon is an American writer who worked with Casper: a spirited beginning, Goofy Movie, and, of course, the old series of Ducktales.
Fun Fact: The whole reason the Titanic sank was because the lookouts didn't have binoculars as Jon did due to a shipping issue (LOL), but they launched anyway...they didn't think such a minor thing could be their downfall...

It's actually super impressive because every minor detail is supposedly accurate, down to the exact layout of the rooms.
I actually played Titanic: Adventure Out of Time a couple of times. It is _hard as balls._ It's one of those games where you can forget to do this tiny little thing early on and it can completely screw you over at the end. And you can't really pause and look up a walkthrough because it goes through the Titanic's last night in _real time_ and almost all the events will only happen within a certain time frame.
Dang, so it's kinda like Dead Rising, but you don't keep your stuff when you restart...lol...but if DR was "Real Time" it would be so much worse...Imagine going for 7 Day survivor in real time...
Jack and Rose might have been fictional people, but make no mistake, James Cameron went to pretty exotic lengths to be historically accurate with other real passengers and crew, and the ship itself. I had a professor for a lighting class who worked on the set for the scale-ship, and to disguise some equipment, one of them fashioned this box to look vaguely appropriate to the setting. Cameron happened upon it and demanded what the box was, and after it was explained to him... he grabbed the box and tossed it over the side, smashing loudly on the soundstage floor three stories down. In explanation, he said "If it wasn't on the REAL ship, it's not gonna be on MY ship," before walking off. ...Cameron's a dick, yes, but he's a dick with standards. And let's not forget what a perfect effects showcase Titanic was, still holding up well today. It was the ideal period for practical effects to be enhanced by CGI of the time. And you might scoff at the notion of a tragedy being made into such a big story, but watch Plinkett's Titanic review sometime. It was really a perfect time capsule of the time period for class differences, it had inherent drama, the hubris of man, romance, sacrifice... You really couldn't have written something that more naturally lent itself to a grand ensemble story, yet what happened in real life didn't require much, if any embellishment. There's plenty to lampoon about the movie, but hey... Did YOU shoot something that blew out the box office records for well over a decade?
Anger issues is not a thing to be praised upon. Also, the argument "did YOU do the same?" immediately makes your other arguments sound cheap and non-convincing. @@EveRosell "AnGEr iSSuEs..." Dude, grow up. It's not about "anger," the man is just a control freak who absolutely WOULD NOT COMPROMISE on accuracy when it came to details. And this wouldn't be a problem if she could place her contrarian dislike against some sort of standard of argument, but if you press her she's far more likely to give shallow reasons than a compelling perspective on why a moral, theme or plot in a movie isn't nearly as clever as the wider world thinks. It would be one thing if she merely said, "these are probably well made movies, but they just don't work for me," but whether in jest or not she refuses to concede that and merely asserts that the greater opinion of critics and audiences is wrong. "Gut feel" and "I know it when I see it" non-standards are why terribly written content is allowed to skate by nowadays while Hollywood laughs its way to the bank, because people don't demand better, because they don't recognize quality, or lack thereof. What? No, none of that is true. She was never advertised as unsinkable. That was media sensationalism. She was built to be as unsinkable as possible, as most ships are. There were no costs cut during her construction. She was the height of engineering in 1912. Bruce Ismay did not bribe anyone for a place in a lifeboat. His life was ruined due to yellow journalism and character assassination by the media who painted him a coward, in various forms, despite how he desperately tried to get people off the ship in time and was in a panicked state during the sinking.
