The artwork they used for that poster is of an actor who doesn't even appear in the film. The artist referenced a random headshot. The actor sued which is why most new releases of the film use different art.
You're right, this is Martha Davis singing here. C-Spot Run was a studio project fronted by Kevin Gilbert and Stan Cotey of Giraffe. Martha Davis cowrote this song and sang the lead vocal, and a couple of the other members of Giraffe were involved with the song as well.
I swear, this song is the epitome of the mid 80s pop/rock scene. I'd also say this would have worked really well as a theme for the 1988 film Bad Dreams.. I mean, come on. "Bad dreams" is a part of the lyrics lol.

The poster with the dead guy behind the window reminds me of what R.L. Stine would use as a cover for Fear Street series
Haha so true
I absolutely love everything about this comment!

Not only the cover but also the quote

Ooooh I love how this song uses the keyboard riff from Yes-Owner of a Lonely Heart
2:51 - they sampled that part from "Owner of A Lonely Heart"
Excellent 'Til Tuesday knock-off track; Martha Davis affecting a touch of Dale Bozzio and Aimee Mann.
The Betas? I hate the Betas!
This song could have been use for one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

N.O.T.C. El Ending Of It Completely Suck With Out A Doubt On El Real But The Song I Like A Lot.😎
Popa Doc There are two endings. 🤔 Which one you mean? 😎
The One Where She Give's Him A Big Huge Then El Dog Comes To With One Of Them Black Slugs In It Then The Movie Ends That! One!.😠
@@popadoc4526 I think the alternative ending was a lot better to me. The black slimy slugs escaping to the local semetary.
