The expression of Mustafa in 23:07 is so moving, you can feel his pain for watching his mother suffer and at the same get Mahidevran's perspective. What an extraordinary moment, so sad.
That woman was crazy and was always crying she caused the death of Mustafa with her upbringing and all the enemies she made for been childish
Too bad she brought herself in this situation.
The difference
Prince: Where is my brother?
Mahidevran: what are you doing, you cant play with him.
Hurrem: Did you miss your brother? Well Gulnihal can take you there and play together with him.
yah mahidevran is always so competive
Mahidevran was a demon.
Its sad how they treated Prince Mehmet like non-existent just because Prince Mustafa was the oldest and already had allies supporting him because of Ibrahim Pasha.
Poor shehzade Mehmet.Such a cutie. He was my favourite on the show.Ibrahim favored Mustafa more because of some sorta commitment or responsibility from the day of his birth. He always shielded mahidevran.Mehmet wanted same kind of respect but he was treated inferior to Mustafa due to age gap or because he was Hurrem’s Son.I strongly find the latter to be the reason.Mustafa was the apple of everyone’s eyes including Hafsa and her daughters.
Exactly but when he grow up he was the most fav of sultan suleyman
@@Susweca5569no ur wrong
Gulfem's sadness watching the scene she was once in, giving birth to one of Suleiman's sons and having his love. Poor Gulfem 😢 Although he'd fallen out of love with her i think he took her to Topkapi because he still cared for her.
He appreciated her intelligence and her analytical skills- he didn't care about her. Gulfem is " one of the boys ".
😂😮😮 😢😂 GULFEM HAD A SON😢
Yes, and maybe a daughter. They died as children.
Yes he did if not for pity she could have been in the old palace
She had two children a baby girl and a boy. Later in the series you see the sultan visit his daughters grave
The worst part is that whilst she was struggling at birth with him, he was sleeping with her bestie
Suleiman didn't know she was giving birth, plus it was not a monogamous relationship.
@@mimioweida9333 Still I don't agree with the idea of it. especially with her best friend of all people. it could have been anyone else but it was Gulnihal. whilst she was pregnant with his child.
@@zainabbibi true but poor Maria/Gulnihal did not have any choice and can’t say no to sultan as she was very much a part of Harem and taken for the very purpose as Hurrem was.But Ibrahim played dirty game here and Maria hid it due to pure fear of Hurrem I think.
@@Taashu85 I get that.
its Suleymans part i had a problem with. if at that time he did not no who she was, later when he did realise, he still called her back, despite knowing Hurrems feelings for her.
Im not blaming Gulnihal, I blame suleyman and the situation.
😮😂suleiman did that 👏 on his own😅😢😂
I like esma hatun.she is beautiful snd loyal to hurrem
@4:59 valide is not bothered about the mother but only the child. What a cruel life for the slaves they were just a baby producing machine.Used, thrown and discarded like an old rag.Poor hurrem was not even given the child to kiss after the birth😢
She specifically disliked Hurrem and likely resented that she was the Mother of a Prince and perhaps wanted Mehmet to be examined and cared for immediately for his safety. But as obvious Valide always mistreated Hurrem, honestly I was surprised as to why Hurrem cried when she died.
@@mimioweida9333 that looked very rude forcibly kidnapping the girls and bringing them to the harem and if the girls try to survive or have an ambition they are mistreated. If Hafsa wanted only mahidevran or mustafa what was the point bringing more and more concubines for the sultan?Good Hurrem rose above all these schemings and plots.
@@Taashu85 Of course the enslavement was heartbreaking. Hafsa disliked Hurrem because she was initially insolent and rebellious. I didn't say she wanted no more Princes. Hafsa really wanted Suleiman to have more Princes, but obviously she wanted more obedient and quieter Mothers. Hurrem was a very strong character. It was my observation that Hurrem and Valide never got on, Valide was likely jealous of her influence over Suleiman and Hurrem resented that Valide always hindered her power and influence. Overall, imo Hafsa was not the kindest person, as made clear here.
@@mimioweida9333 right she just wanted more of Mahidevrans in harem just keep quiet, behave and produce babies and know their place as hafsa and her spoiled daughter hatice always reminded how they were royal and concubines were beneath them as if the kidnapped girls came to topkapi outta their choice or will.Always know your place types it dint matter how many shehzades they gave birth to.
Exactly
It’s funny that she screamed so much during labour on the show because if you screamed like that, in real life labor, you get told to stop it because you put more energy into screaming than you do pushing. at least in my personal experience I was told to stop screaming for that reason. 😂
Plus, you should never labour on your back. It causes more harm than good.
I don't mean to sound unfeeling or sarcastic but can one control one's screaming when in pain?
@@tatianalyulkin410 Absolutely! Most doctors and midwives train expecting mothers how to regulate their breathing through contractions even back then. Most shows over dramatize the birth for reactions and then a lot of women who have never experienced it get to scared to ever have children.
Yes i hurt my throat after delivery 😅
Also giving birth on your back is both natural and normal, idk what hospital or doctors you've been dealing with, but laboring and birthing while on your back is in no way harmful to the baby or you 😅
@@ABCs501 lmao I have a child if that's what you are asking, and I both was induced and gave birth while laying on my back with a high risk pregnancy. You making up random statistics and numbers doesn't make you right. The fact your only counter to what I said was to ask if I've had children is a clear sign you don't have the information to back up your bs claims. Sit down sis, you look dumb
I didnt realise the face rub he did was part of the prayers i thought he was stressed 😅
They skipped the birth of the daughter!!!
How msny times is Hurrem going to lose tgat ting!?! 😂😂😂
Why didn't they give her the baby after birth?
Becourse she is not worth same as the queen. Only for getting birth for sons as egg machine..
Maybe to wash and clothe the baby
Nebylo to zvykem 🇨🇿
The dynasty members had more rights to the child I think compared to the mother who was just a slave and since Valde didn’t like Hurrem she was being extra spiteful not giving the baby to her.
@@samantha953 it was often like that in the hospital in modern times. My kids are in early 20s and id get to hold them for maybe a minute before they were whisked away to be cleaned and vitals taken. I was so upset.
Why do they feed by spoon their big kids
Dysfunctional family, hu?
