- JP had some issues when it comes to tackle organization. In this video we get the crew together and do a complete make over for his tackle room! In this video I head over to JP's house to do a compete tackle room makeover. We went through his basement room where he kept most of his tackle. It was a mess when we first got there and needed a lot of organizing. I think for the limited amount of time we had to put all this together that it turned out extremely well!

Who is SmallmouthCrush?
Travis Manson was born and raised in Wisconsin. He started fishing from the bank at a young age and spent most of his childhood with a rod in his hand. Travis is primarily a self-taught angler that is always learning and experiencing this amazing sport of fishing. He started out fishing for walleyes and fishing in local walleye tournaments, but then in his mid 20's, he caught the BASS BUG and has been hooked ever since. He competed at the highest level in bass fishing on the Bassmaster Elite Series for a number of years. He is a full time fishing guide offering trips on Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River.
His UA-cam Channel is named after his passion for the smallmouth bass and will be used as a platform for "how-to" videos, on the water instruction, crazy on and off the water topics on the day in the life of a fishing addict!

Tackle organization is one of the best parts of the game. Its what I do to relax. I'm pretty sure that's how I first discovered the channel was serching for videos on organizing. I think the video when you first went to the bass mafia boxes was the first smallmouth crush vid I ever watched and have been following ever since

That was good. I can relate with JP. Got everything piled together but just need to take a day and knock it out. He's very lucky to have friends like Travis and the others willing to take some time out of their day and help. Tackle room stories and ideas for improving it is an awesome idea for videos

Put the mouse traps along the wall or an edge, mice and rats follow the edges. Put the trap so the trigger end is perpendicular to the edge, so the mouse can trigger it from either direction. I hate pegboard, but necessary when you have 10 bags of the same worms, but something that works good for smaller quantities and items that have no hole or hole ripped out is Large and Ex-large binder clips screwed to plywood, or better yet, a 1”x1” strip screwed to wall, and put a large washer on screw so it won’t fall off wall when you touch them. The binder clips work great for holding your Skeet Reese poster to the wall too. 😂👍
