thank you for this!! i saw a short (not great unfortunately) vid of this stitch on tiktok but it was rlly hard to decipher what they were doing and how to do the stitch (and also didnt rlly provide applications for it? it was demonstrated on like a beauty blender so i was like "this is cool but where do i use this?") and when i tried to look it up everything was just showing me the ladder stitch and then i clicked on this vid and saw you're doing the stitch i was looking for and its also very in depth and slow and a lot easier to understand so thank you!! plus, this is the perfect example for me of practical application as im trying to hem some pants of mine but was unsure what stitch to use so now i might try this one!

What is the purpose of the loops?
ARE YOU Putting that in the exact same hole or simply a hole next to the original hole?
