Thank you so much for this presentation. It inspired me to turn my planner into a combo planner and junk journal to give them a longer life. An idea that quite excites me. You are an inspiration.
I went to Dollar Tree, after my first comment, I was able to find some items, but I was happy with my finds. Thank you for the inspiration. Now I’m going to find your junk journal videos and binge watch so I can learn how to do. Your new fan😊
My budget started groaning about 5 minutes into this inspiring presentation. lol I'm such a long time DT crafting shopper I didn't think I was going to learn anything new. But surprise! I did. Great job! Enjoyed the peeks into completed journals. Great job!
Thanks for showing all these supplies and how you may use them. Journals are so personal and a great way to include writing, memory triggers, art, and collage. I've done lettering journals, mixed media, drawing etc. I appreciate all the work you do to make your channel interesting and helpful-many thanks.
I wish our local DT had such cool stuff! They do have a few things, and the Crafter's Square items are more varied and plentiful then before, but many things can't be found here. You did give me lots ideas of what to look for, so thank you! And some things I didn't even think to look for, like the clamps to hold your pages open. Guess I should look in the other departments more often! Thanks again, awesome video!
I just started collecting little embellishments I would always pass up all the beads, rhinestones etc cause I never knew what I’d use them for. But now I love using them in my junk journal and as extras in pen pal letters as well as pocket letters :)
I love, love, love your You Tube videos. I enjoy journaling, and was curious about the "Junk Journaling". You have so many great ideas, with your crafts. Now I know what it is, and I can't wait to get started. I love the Dollar Tree too, and now I have more ideas on what to pick up the next time I'm there. Thank you so much!!
Windy, this was such a treat to see how a YTer/DT Hauler ACTUALLY uses the items she purchases from Dollar Tree! Several of the most popular DT gals purchase so many stickers, pens, stationery items (or just DT items in general), but never ever actually use them. 🤷🏻♀️
Ooooooo you have my juices flowing now. I left junk journals 2 years ago. I'm excited to begin again. I have a lot of stuff left. But this video has opened my eyes to many new ideas. I'm so happy I watched. I have to watch again and make my list to get supplies. I will be spending a bit more than I usually do. But I need so many things for your fabulous ideas. Thank you so much
Amazing! I live in Korea at the moment and live by Daiso, which is like an amazing version of a dollar store here. I was so sad to be leaving all the amazing stationery they have behind, and I was wondering what the dollar tree has to offer. This was perfect - now I don’t feel so bad about coming home!
I love your artistry. I loved making them years ago, with other albums of painted pages… and altered art. Love the pieces you found at dollar tree as well.
I really enjoyed your presentation on using Dollar Tree items for junk journaling. You've definitely opened my eyes to see how to incorporate Dollar Tree items without blowing up my budget on Amazon for the same items. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the instructional video on junk journal. I have not done one but your video has motivated me to start one. Will be getting some supplies at Dollar Tree to begin journaling.
So wish our DTs carried this kind of variety. But I will keep my eyes open in other towns when we vacation this summer. You've given so many wonderful ideas. Thank you so much!
Thank you. I initially went to the Dollar Tree to start journaling. I think I got wrapped up in it all and bought other things and never started journaling. This helped motivate me again.
BEAUTIFUL journals you have going on there (especially the one in the beginning with the rub on transfers) soooo cool!! Love it! Really wish I'd watched this this afternoon--BEFORE I went to DT this evening and filled my basket (course obviously I didn't come away empty handed --lol 🤦🏻♀️👍🏼😎)
I just bought those vintage looking stickers from Dollar Tree! I am creating junk journals with “Steampunk” and “ Dark Academia” themes and they work great. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video!! Thank you so much! I have saved this so I can go back and review some great "Junk Journal" ideas and inspiration. I am new to junk journaling and to your channel. I think I have been saving such lovely items to be placed in a junk journal without even knowing it. I've made an altered book before, and now, I am very exited to make some junk journals. Thank you, again! Take care and be safe! ☺💖🙏
I like these ideas, I get so many ideas from UA-cam. I think of ways to make everything I like my own. Mostly for all my grandkids, and friends. Still want to sell some special requested things. Thank you for sharing! Awesome!
Loved your journal ideas tfs. I'm just getting started with collecting supplies so I watch Dollar Tree hauls and JJ videos on UA-cam so please keep them coming!
Thanks for showing examples of how you use products. That is helpful, often I pick up things that are , cute but when I get them home have no idea how to use them.
wonderfully helpful. I've already bought many of those things & now know how to use. You also showed items I've never seen there and I thought I was checking out every department for items to use. So I'll know what to look for now.. One thing I like to do with a tutorial as helpful as yours is save screen shots to help me remember. If you could hold things still, rather than gesture with them, it would help me get better images.
New subbie here. Saw this video in the YT Home section. This is an awesome video & I loved your sample pages showing how to use DT supplies. I’m a big dollar tree fan of their craft & book section in addition to other items. TFS. Tere
Thank you lots for this video, I didn’t know D.T has all these supplies. I’m a newbie to junk journaling, I’ve been buying supplies to create my very first junk journal. I hope D.T by me will have many of these items. 🌸
Love the vintage stickers, their my favourite kind too 😀❤️ I live in the UK South Wales so we have 'Poundland' 'Home bargains' instead that sell a bit of everything. I get a lot of good stuff from charity shops (your version of thrift stores) plus craft shops like 'Hobbycraft' but I like a good bargain 🤗 😀 love your journals by the way ❤️
Hope you feel better.I have never done Junk journaling but I think it would be relaxing.Your video is great, so I could go through what I have and put them together in a bin for future crafting. Thanks for Sharing.
Ok....super excited to find this video!! I've been waiting for someone to show items from $$ tree you can use!! Give me great items, since I'm new at junk journaling You definitely have a new follower!! Thank you!!
I enjoyed this video so much ! I have some of those items so that was cool to see you use them also . So many new ideas too. Thanks so much for sharing.. Have a beautiful weekend. This video actually calmed my anxiety down. ❤
Thank you so much . thanks for also showing how it is used. Now I have a long list of items to get . Dollar tree is mine craft store .I call it my candy store lol. Thank you please keep teaching us .love it
Thank you very much for sharing these items. I found this very helpful for items to be on the lookout for while shopping there. I have never seen the butterfly die cuts and I don't recall ever seeing the paper packs either, but I have only just started to be interested in the whole junk journal world in the last few months so I may have seen them and not really realized what they were. I especially enjoyed you sharing some of your journals and the examples of how the pieces are used. I do have a question. How do you attach the little clear bottles to your tassels on the spine? I would like to add some of those to my travel journal that is filled with sand from the beach that we visited on our vacation. Thanks again for all your helpful information.
For the little jars I use a mini eye hook screw and screw it into the cork and then tie some string through the loop. You can find the mini eye hooks in Dollar Trees picture hanging kit. It’s about the same size as a little sewing kit in the picture frame section. There’s not a lot of them in there but enough to do a few jars.
Great video and all of your journals are just beautiful. I did make a kind of mini art/junk journal out of a couple of those small journals you showed. The small one with the pink and gold flowers that you showed at the end. I love to go through it. You have a lot of really good ideas.
New subscriber here. I haven't tried junk journaling yet but I have most of the supplies as I have been scrapbooking for 25 years. The stickers from DT are amazing! I have a huge selection!
I bought one of the plastic container boxes and use it for my washi tape in my go bag that I have on the ready to take with me. The top is rounded to accommodate the fatter rolls.
Thank you so much for showing us what you use to make a junk journal. I really want to make one, I have for years, thanks for the tips. New to your great channel
Hi, I came across your video while searching for another :) I subscribed, love your JJ style and DT ideas! I get supplies at Dollar Tree all the time as well :D
I just want to let you know there’s another way to coffee/tea dye papers - I dry mine in the microwave! Copy style thin paper you can layer 4-5 pages at a time dry for 75-80 seconds and it’s great fast and easy!
I just watched your whole video and you really have become my favorite UA-camr! I love love love all your content! This video and your DIYS! I have you set up to notify me when you post something!
