You probably won't see this but you and Xander budnick are my absolute heroes. Just gone through a messy divorce and came out rhe other side so much better a person. Started getting back into nature and keeping fit. Your inspired me to pick up all the gear on your 2023 vid. I encouraged a group of my friends to come camping with me and hike up snowdon it was epic! Yur a legend cheers mate for helping get me back ina good headspace
Enjoyed the video and it's making me jealous as I've spent the past month emptying a house ready for sale! I need to get out again soon. But one niggle, the Lakes are great but they are the highest hills in *England* not the UK! Snowdon and Ben Nevis and the rest tip their noses at such pip squeaks. (In the same way, the Himalaya, Andes, Alps and Rockies etc tip their noses at them! ;-) In fact, Scafell pike is only the 257th highest in the UK! Sorry for being picky...
Massive thank you to all of those that go out and lay paths and generally make a difference to the countryside that we all enjoy, great video Hazey, love the lakes 👍⛺️
Ah just what I needed today. A bit a haze to put a smile on your face and give you a bit of a lift. How apt that he gave a little bit of “always look on the bright side of life” good man!
Thank you so much you have no idea how you have kept me going through dark times fighting cancer, you have helped keep my spirits high, keep doing what your doing never change, you smash it being you.
Wonderful to see another Lakes 3 day’er. Your “dunkin the junk in” that I’ve seen in your videos inspired me and this year I finally started daily (almost) dunking on Dartmoor. It’s a bit “Wim Hoff” mental calming to stay in the cold water but that’s a good thing where I am at the moment with my head suffering PTSD from a life of narcissistic abuse. Thank you as always, Hazy you’re a wonderful, inspiring person ❤😊
As I'm at a stage of my life where I'm not able to hike like I used to - your content is like manna from heaven. I have recently visited Keswick and was jealously watching people up Catbells over the waters but had to contend with Walla Craig and the railway walk. Looks like being round Fern is great for your mental health mate - much more chipper these daze. Keep it up! Love yr channel!
Oh man, I've just discovered you and you are an inspiration. I love your outlook and your humour!. its so refreshing to watch somebody genuinely loving what they do. So now I'm going to have some map time now and plan mine and my sons next wild camping adventure.. Thank you for reigniting the spark!
I love the Lake District and the phenomenal views from the top of the peaks. Been a long time since i did it, but i cant see myself on the peaks again so its great watching your and others vids....Thanks for the views.
Wow, stunning scenery! Solo hiking and wild camping in the mountains sounds like an incredible adventure. Can't wait to watch Part 2! 👍🏔 #hiking #wildcamping #adventure
Absolute inspiration haze......getting my.mojo back n about to get started with my 11yr old lad after 20yrs out the game. Off to megger damn near moffat tomorrow. Here we here we here beeping go
Nice one Hazey! Just the inspiration I need for my wild camping trip to the Lakes next week! Thanks for getting me back into the outdoors kid! Keep up the excellent work!
Dude you crack me. Love watching your content, so entertaining and inspiring. Please don't ever stop 👍. If you ever offered the chance for people to join you on a hike (at a price of course) I would sign up in seconds. Stay true you legend 💪
Be nice to see you and Fern do a long distance hike, like the Te Araroa or Pacific Crest trail. You could do it as a fund-raiser for mental health charity, crowd fund the trip??
Another fantastic and inspiring video. The quiet valley that cocoons Black moss pot on its way up to Scafell is probably my absolute favorite in all the lakes. Can't wait to get up there in August.
Oh my god I literally finished the C2C last month and Lining Crag (the steep rocky bit) was, in my opinion, the most gruelling section of the whole hike! Mind you, I was there on one of the hottest days when it reached nearly 30 celsius. Seeing it in your video gave me 'nam flashbacks. Well done for conquering it seemingly so effortlessly though, when my video of it comes out i'm gonna look like a right wuss 😅
Just checked out your channel. I subscribed. Looking forward to your C2C vid. A very hard walk and yeah I agree the steep bit was the toughest part of the whole trail.
@@CazTali oh thank you! My C2C videos should be up around November time, I’ll be uploading a video for each day on the trail & the whole longform video just after Christmas 😁
Bro, my Mrs interrupts my Haze hit for a few seconds, I turn back to the screen and your foot is going back through that ice again... wigged me out. I couldn't figure what happened until you came back on. 😂
One thing i wanted to know about and you didn't, list it 😢, the jacket..think its patagonia but is it good, i want lightweight breathable and waterproof. Good to see ya back in the lakes man 😊
Cracking video fella. I loved the song that crops up a couple of times during the video but couldn't see any mention of it in the description. Will you let me know the artist and song name please?
What a fantastic hike, you certainly do some good trips, I keep saying it but I must try a few multi day trips for my channel while I still can, I just film for a memory for the kids as I can’t get them into it, Keep it up and keep em coming Cheers
Now you are based down south you should come and check out Wiltshire mate. You can follow some natural Ley Lines between ancient monuments, bare your Heal and Sole here on the right paths and you'll feel more connected than ever with our Mother Earth! Plus we can review some Craft Ales in Von Twinkle's absence! 😂🙏✌
Can you please make a jingle for map time? I love map time, it's ace 😂. Good on ye mate. Top man and top content. Take care mate and can't wait for the next one 👍
Could also be a horned woman but it looks to me like the shadow one of my cat casts from certain angles Anyway that was nice to watch Also love the oldschool maps 💚
Hazy. Im sorry i have ti do it but i cant let you beat us on this. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK 😂 not Scafell. Its the Highest in England though.❤
Gonna change your life mate.....you don't need that hard orange plastic adapter for the flextail pump, just tuck the small end of the grey rubber adapter into the lip of the pump ! Just saved you 1.5g and you can thank me later. Much love ✌🏻
Great stuff. I recently did the Tour of Lake District after watching your series and being inspired. Do you have a gpx file for this that you can give a link to? When I open the OS link, I just get a map screen with no route on it. WOuld like to give this a try too. X

I think it was Wordsworth who once said, "the lakes? yeah, theyr'e right fuckin magic like." "Who you lookin' at?"
I believe there is no way you could ever actually be lost in those mountains, they are so much a part of you. Thanks for the video, take care, be well

Nothing toxic about masculinity mate 👍
Keep up the hard work.
Indeed. Testing yourself to see what you're made of, and working on bettering yourself every day is part of the true masculine journey. Cheers!

Nothing wrong with a bit of masculinity my friend. It keeps us men motivated for the right reasons, don't want to be turning into a simp lad.respect
Bro, my Mrs interrupts my Haze hit for a few seconds, I turn back to the screen and your foot is going back through that ice again... wigged me out. I couldn't figure what happened until you came back on. 😂
