And no age restrictions at the snow hole, just good natural eats. I love it ! And it's the best therapy that ONE can get than wasting money on a psychologist doctor, who most probably is suffering the same as one, or more true, even worse ! My blood pressure dropped just watching this God given, WITH HIS LOVE, all around us sceneries.
These videos have fast become a part of my cats bedtime routine. They have their food and then settle down on the bed to watch birds and squirrels until they fall asleep...it keeps them entertained but relaxes them no end. Thank you!
I'm a pet sitter and cats love to watch or at least listen to it on my iPad. Some of them look behind the iPad to see where the birds are coming from. Others unintentionally pause or minimize it because they can't keep their paws off the screen. One cat loved it so much that even when I played it for him on my iPhone, he grabbed it and rolled on the floor clutching the iPhone. This is just the best video for entertaining cats! Snow is a great background.
My cat LOVES this video!! She jumps up at the screen and starts pawing at the snow hole. She especially loves the squirrels!! Perfect morning entertainment for both of us. Thank you!
Two red squirrels dug that tunnel and this is the first year I noticed a red squirrel 'shoveling' snow with his head....making a path from the pine tree to the stone wall...it took the squirrel a good 30 minutes to shovel the path....I wish I filmed him doing this!
This is the FIRST CHANNEL we picked to spoil our BRAND NEW BENGAL/x kitten 12 weeks old "Rogue " is now your biggest fan 💖🐯 Your videos and Pauls are the best on the net for cats😺👍 Cheers bud👽🇨🇦
Great video!, thank you. Reminds when I had my ability to feed 'my' blue jays, squirrels, chipmunks, many other birds, etc. when I lived in the forest - so miss it :)
"Party at the Snow Hole" -- our cats' favorite of all time. You are a household name here LOL -- We enjoy your channel so, so much! Thanks for all the great vids :)
Love to see Cardinals on a bleak, winter's day; they're so beautiful against the white snow. Amazing that there are still leaves on the trees there in January.
I have a red squirrel in my back yard that I have become quite familiar with and he, or she, has demonstrated tool use in my presence. It held a 6 inch twig in it's mouth and used it to locate loose bark and the insects beneath that bark in a very skillful manner.
Snow Hole is the best! seahue, you have struck cat viewing gold! My cat is obsessed with this video (okay, maybe me too a little). We watch it on loop! Thank you SO much for shooting and posting, and we look forward to more parties at the snow hole when it's cold out again!
This is perfect footage for my four cats! Thank you for not moving the camera about all over the place (as is the case in many other 'cat video's' and thank you for this lovely video, which I enjoy watching myself time and time again.
i think you're projecting there. it causes a bit of confusion for my cats but i live up on the 4th floor & my cats watch the birds flying on the roof. at least if they take a flying leap it will be..at my laptop. i think cat vids will be supervised from now on. but any stimulation is better than none.
Thank you:)) I am surprised at how good the video turns out as well...I have dropped my camera on many occasions and part of it is chipped....I use the very affordable JVC Everio:))
Frank Blangeard Since you know these birds, can you tell me what type of bird sings (all night long and parts of the day) so many different calls? It fly jumps about six feet high while making those incredible sounds. Through my binoculars I could only see a brownish tint covering the not so small body, with thick, horizontal white stripes, under its wings and tail. This beautiful bird is very difficult to see. I really love the various sounds it sings. I'm thinking maybe it's a mating call!!!
my kitty cat meowed at the screen and gently put her paw out touch the birds. She doesn't really know about hunting and she doesn't even hurt anything in the house if she finds an insect she treat it kindly LOL
One of my cats is 13 years old and dislikes/is scared of almost everything, doesn't even pay attention to most videos made for cats. However she seems to respond to the sound of the wings in this one and the squirrel makes her chatter, so I play it for her sometimes when she's grumpy. Thanks :P
Just wanted to say thanks for the vids! My cat actually loves them. He's an inside cat, but he will sit on my lap at the computer desk and watch them very carefully, Lol! I may be crazy, but I think this one is his fav of all ahaha. Anyway, thanks! :)
wonderfully relaxing video! gives me some joy while i lie in bed with a cold, so thank you for sharing! didn't know a titmouse was a bird though and was waiting for a mouse to show up the whole time xD
Thank you:) You are lucky to see a squirrel nest so close! I am jealous:)) This is the first year I have made friends with the greys though their nests are so high up in the trees I would need a fire truck ladder to get to them:o
The titmouse are pretty abundant here yet very shy towards me and the camera...when I go outside there are over 10 circling me and they let me throw them peanuts but they never land on my hand...there are a couple who are brazen and you see them here...I did see one titmouse who looked diseased though...sadly I have not seen a turkey in over 2 years:( I am happy you see them though. I looked outside last night and saw 10 deer outside my window!!
All Bluejays are really interested in are peanuts. While they are breeding in the spring and summer, they also come to my suet feeder, even though they have to hang upside down to get at the suet, they do so admirably. They don't seem to want it in the winter, for some reason. But they do go through peanuts like sweets. (*_*) Happy New Year to you and your family, Dave. I hope 2013 will be a great year for you. Take care now.
Thank you and Happy New year:)) I always wonder where those blue jays put all their peanuts...I imagine a huge communal storage nest with 24 hour security:D
What was that beautiful red bird? Was it some type of woodpecker? Wow - it was very beautiful! We have plenty of beautiful Blue Jays, and let me tell you, "they are very intelligent. Heck the ones in my neighborhood, scare the cats away, they vier down on them until the cats are way down the street, lol!!!

Love it, so tranquil, you can almost smell the damp leaves. Wish I could show it on our TV, lack the technology to do it.
Love the viewpoint!

Beautiful video, so many gorgeous birds invited at Miss Squirrel's party :)

You have spread joy and delight. Great video! My cat loved it, my family loved it--just watching the cat! She sat through the entire video.

Thank you for a beautiful video! Very relaxing to watch while stuck in the office.
A virtual magnet for tiny creatures and feathered friends in the middle of winter. Cool!
This is perfect footage for my four cats! Thank you for not moving the camera about all over the place (as is the case in many other 'cat video's' and thank you for this lovely video, which I enjoy watching myself time and time again.
Wonderful video. My cat will watch all 20 minutes and tries to catch them all! It's actually very relaxing to watch...thank you for posting!
Probably suffers from high bp, frustration and nightmares.

The very first bird in the video is called a Tufted Titmouse. Nice video

Heck the ones in my neighborhood, scare the cats away, they vier down on them until the cats are way down the street, lol!!!
The red bird is a Cardinal, the male is red and the female Cardinal is brown so she blends with the environment to protect her babies.
Okay, I will research Connecticut for an upcoming squirrel trip if I don't luck out in Illinois next month! : )
Wonderful!
I was just saying I'd have to lay out seed if I want to capture anything like this out of my window.
