*What was your favorite type of shrimp in this shrimp room tour?*
Blue/black. I’m a sucker for dark shrimp
Definitely the Red Devils 👌🦐
Those bumblebees are amazing!
The spotted redheads are definitely a cut above any other breeder, but the bumblebees are probably my faves
I love all of them. Great content. Thanks 👏👏.
Idk. Couldnt concentrate coz the black shirt guy keeps interrupting the owner.
£6k shrimp that would be a nerve wracking acclimation
That is an understatement!
Terrifying 😱
Nahh If I spent that much on shrimp I would have to be wealthy to the point where 6,000 seems like 6.
Gets home tells the wife you bought 10 shrimp and remortgage the house
Shouldn't be any more stressful than any other acclimatization
Love this guy! This is just how I run my fishroom. strategic neglect.
Best way to not get overwhelmed and keep interested.
My mind is blown! There is so much I still need to learn about taking care and possibly breeding my shrimps in the future. I just started this hobby and I was in your guy’s shop a couple weeks ago and bought a skittles pack. The Neo’s are very healthy and vibrant and your staff was so nice and knowledgeable. You guys provide quality content on and off the channel! Thank you!
Oh I just *loved* those spotted red-heads!
I am relatively new to this hobby but based on my own experiences so far: I agree with this guy on everything! I feed my shrimp very infrequently, water change even less frequently- and over time, it seems to going very well. With shrimp it really does seem that "stability" is the key.
My favorite tank right now is also my "wild" tank. I started with a few really good specimens of several different types, and it's been so fun to see the subsequent generations develop cool new color combinations. A shrimp tank does not have to be "profitable" to be enjoyable!
My mind is officially blown, who knew shrimp could be worth so much! They were absolutely stunning!!!!
Thank you, Cory! Great video. I appreciate the great people you introduce us to.
Very cool! I really like this setup and that he has basically adapted the shrimp over time to his water. Plus very low maintenance so more time to enjoy.
Just in time! Been breeding guppies and now I’m getting into shrimp love the video! Thanks for always bringing awesome insight and motivation to the hobby!
Wow this guy broke all the rules for keeping Caridina shrimp and still has a massive success, unbelievable! No wonder why his pH is 7.5 after 5 years because that akadama lost all buffering capacity many years ago and he can have the same luck with any inert substrate instead.
Yeah, and here we're busting our heads about keeping pH below 6.0 then replace soil every year.. lol
@@toxictears3642 Yea that's it! Maybe we have to try to be lazy like him and don't do anything for 5 years, so our shrimp get used to it😂
I think a lot of advicefor a lot of fish and inverts runs the overly cautious side. It's been interesting with my personal experiences keeping both otocinclus and neocaridina. No drip acclimation or anything special. Just plop and hope. Little bit of luck I'm guessing. The deaths I've had have mostly occurred from jumping or removal from uplift tubes.
@@bloatus7611 i have the same plop and hope always works never had any deaths
Always interesting to see how expert shrimp breeders are able to hone how they raise shrimp! Crazy that he has Caridina’s breeding above 7.0 ph!
Yeah it works over the years, very slowly, survival of the fittest 👌 shrimps from this guy are like undestructable, stressless shrimp keeping with his line/stuff
I got neos breeding in 6.5 ph myself. Almost anything can adapt within reason lol
Eh you will lose a lot of shrimp in the beginning, If u willing to waste your money having your expensive shrimp die go ahead. Because only the strongest shrimp will survive, but the weaker ones will die, so in a sense, you will be wasting some money. However, I dont think I wanna wait for 3 years for my shrimp to adapt to ph7, I dont have the patient to wait for 3 years, I rather just keep them in acidic water so they can do well right away instead of waiting for 3 years for them to adapt and do well, because 3 years is a really long time to wait, that's like 36 months lol.
Ohhhhh jeez, those shrimp are absolutely beautiful. Colors so vibrant! 😍
Amazing shrimps!
Thanks for this room tour.
Wow 8 years without changing a tank. Geezzzzz i love the sponge filters high ph level its amazing ..great video
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Awesome shrimp setups 👍
The shrimp king on Aquarium co-op!!!!!!! Best video ever!!
Wow, his shrimp are so beautiful!
The two greatest ponytails in aquaria
i like the size and shape of those tanks a lot.
Hooray! Shrimp content! Those are stunning!
Astonishing in many ways.
Thanks for your video.
Red devil is my favourite
Its always a good time when Chris and Cory get together 🙌
Yes!!!!
Chris yaps too much ! Wouldnt let Cory or the shrimp owner a word in.
@@saltygreek3870 lol i thought he was the shrimp keeper at first
@@Galactic7orce you would think that! The way he took over
That's my dream room till this day!
Love keeping shrimp, they are great fun to watch.
Absolutely!!! Ahhh... I so miss my Shrimp room now! Gonna have to do one up again! :o
Woowww!! Did anyone else notice his buce was flowering. Goals right here
you have a large collection of ornamental shrimp. unique and cute
Absolutely epic!❤
What a coincidence, I was just about to get some shrimp for my aquarium lol.
What size are those single fish tanks in the racks ? They look perfect.
Great video. Since there are no heaters in the tanks I was wondering what is the room temperature and what is the water temperature inside the tanks.. I assume that all of them have a lid, and most of them are the aquael or dennerle 20l/30lit tanks.. Also I found interesting that there was a tiny magnet for cleaning the glass in almost (if not all) tanks. I am wondering from which brand is that.
Amazing shrimp!
Great breeder.
Thrilling!
My water in Germany was very hard. My live bearers and shrimpses loved it.
550 ppm here in usa néocardina tanks. Snowball types
Love those shrimp
The most incredible thing to me is that he has full acrylic tank room. O.o you never see that.
Beautiful shrimp….
Does anyone know what are the proportions of the tanks length?
Are the buckets on the top rack for auto refill? Or is it something entirely different?
Can someone tell us what kind of akadama soil we can use. ? Is it all the same ? Would really love to know more about his set ups. Thx 🙏
What tanks does he have?! They look so nice
The Red Hot Pistons are great looking!!!
If you happen to go to Canada, there's another great shrimp store called ShrimpFever
this man is a legend
Shrimp, guppies, bettas, all becoming like designer clown fish. Has a different color, variant, etc. Great for the fish community
This is love 💕. Did anyone catch what is the tank size he is keeping?
Most of those look like Dennerle Nano 30L I have a couple of them.
Very interesting
What size are those tanks on the wall racks?
How many gallons are those tanks
What kind of tanks are those?
Wow. I'm not personally into keeping shrimp, but those are gorgeous. Kind of wish the guy with the hat didnt do all of the talking for the actual breeder. Cool stuff though!
I made a similar comment. Totally agree. Even at the end he had to make a comment when cory asked the shrimp guy a personal question. Cringy.
Is that lava rock gravel on the bottom of the tanks?
Awesome
Nice! So, Cory, are you going to start breeding fancy shrimp too?
Probably not the high end ones like shown here. For the last 18 months though, I have been on a path to do more with shrimp.
He should get an apprentice. I would love to see these beautiful shrimp carry on as his legacy.
How to get rid of the green algae on the glass and in the tank?
Very nice guy
What is the soil substrate used?
What are the tank specs? They look like a aqueon 7g but I don’t see branding really, I love the three tanks to one light set up curious on specifics.
The guest could probably interrupt less next time. Would be great to hear the breeder talk more
Looks great but insane prices
Holy buce! Also, what tanks are those? I love them!
I believe aqua top bullet
@@philipellis1865 hrmmm doesn’t look like that’s it. The Aquatop’s are all-in-one systems and more peninsula shaped.
these are dennerle tanks
and aquael tanks
When he says the super thousand is that American or different kind of currency what’s the transition
"Keep shrimping" haha
what kind of substrate is that? the brown one in the first part of the video? very cool shrimp room!
i think its akadama. its actually a soil for bonsai trees, but shrimp keepers use it because I believe it buffers the ph
What powder does he feed? I heard him say he feeds sticks and powder?
Yesterday I noticed my tank had a baby shrimp I mix blue dream and carbon rili. I wonder what the heck its color going to be. They have been hiding and was surprised to see one.
How many gallons are those aquariums?
Tank size plx?
What’s the full Buce name of that amazing Buce?❤️🇦🇺
Anyone know if he use RO water or not?
Cory if your still in Europe, visit Nico's Shrimps in France. Chris knows him.
I kind of wish Chris would have stayed quiet a little more and let the breeder talk. It's not a great interview when the interviewer is trying so hard to show off and give the tour of someone else's animal room.
There's so much we could have learned here like Cory's interview with Charles Clapsaddle. But it's all cut off, drowned out, and lost to time now. I hope you can go back here some day for a better conversation Cory.
Yes. 3's a crowd for sure.
What kind of soil is he using? Trying to find me a soil that last long and helps lower P.H as well.
Akadama bonsai soil, make sure you buy the real one, green Japanese writing on clear plastic bag.
Tank size
Wow did not no anything like this existed 6k for a shrimp wooow
What king or brand of sponge filter does this man use and what plant is that and soil does he use a heater anyone? I want to buy it
Doesn't look like he uses a heater (I didn't see any in the tanks). The sponge filters are really a common style. I believe Marks Shrimp Tanks uses a similar set up for both the sponges and akadama soil.
Imagine having a wrack the length of your room for shrimp and being able to call that your job
Dude is trying to guess how many kinds of shrimp he has while Cory has the number of tanks on the tip of his tongue
So true!
Its interesting, in this video Olgan said he changes the water every 8 or 10 weeks. In another video he said every 2 or 3 weeks. In this video he said pH 7 to 7.5, in the other video pH is 6 to 6.5. He use tap water with about 150 tds. Really tap water? But there is kH in there. Iam confused.
Very nice Tour, but who are this Breeder?
olgan vajda
'I'd like to start breeding high end shrimp, would you sell me some?'
'Certainly, how many would you like'
'Maybe 20?'
'OK, I'll give you a 20% discount for bulk purchase, that will be $100K'
👍 👍 👍
Keep Shrimpin 🙂
How come all his tank don't have the baby shrimp?
😍❤️
Ja vol!!!!!!!
would be nice to add an angelfish in the tank
Random
Wow. And I thought $15 a shrimp was expensive!
Ha! I’m such a newbie! I bought 5 shrimpies for $20 and was freaking out! Ones is berried (learned new word) so I’m here to learn and my jaw dropped the 1st time he said the price
What the name of the breeder and his Instagram??? Fantastic video Cory👍🤟please share the info of the breeder! Thanks
I just don't get it.. That's how I know it's art. Thanks for sharing.
It was too fast ....
Too short .... need more videos like this with more technical questions ✅️
Wow! Gorgeous shrimp, but the prices….. yikes! He had some beautiful buce as well.
3:40 thats is an extremely impressive bunch of shrimp.. the genetics look 99%, they almost look like clones
I want to see them all do a shrimp rave like that one creator on TikTok 😂
Hella skrimps.
Does he has a UA-cam channel?
First to like👍
