playing this build too but i dont think 8 points in ambush are of use, as the aspekt of the shark does not get stronger, only your one atack every 5 seconds, what does not help at all. its a 1 pointer for me. else great build
@@ActionRPG I decided to level with The One Raptor and as soon as I got Artor's Loyalty around 30 or so the clever girl is critting for 10k+. Can't wait to get it online in monos and find the sword. It's my first cycle char too so super basic leveling gear.
I do enjoy your build videos. Healing hands Rive Paladin is still very top notch. I would love a better warlock or even lich build that would be almost as reliable as a rive paladin. There is one very glaring issue with these new cycles which probably has been pointed out before by others, but is a fairly strong negative. Gold back to 0 is a non issue with me (stop thinking you can get 88 million or 88 billion for items though.) The inventory being wiped clean has to be a huge thorn in this game though. People who organize their storage probably rage quit with that. Losing stored items probably also sucks. Such as those idols that hit 50 to 52% on wraiths being flame wraiths for those necromancer builds. Keep up the great work and congrats on being a spokes model for this game like you are. A lot of great stuff.
After reading through the comments, I'm torn about whether I should play this or not waste my time. I just picked up the sword and helm last night. it looks interesting, but you guys are making me have doubts about Aaron's content.
three of us have been wanting to play this build - not one of us have the sword yet or the any of the double life idols!! we are all lvl 90 odd - and only two of us have one of the large shark idols - finding it impossible to get anything this cycle
Really cool build! I'd love to see you try Kripparian's Raven Cleaver Solution build from a few months back, really cool and fun! Would appreciate your thoughts on it and your own updates/twists to it with 1.1!
Those Idols alone are extremely rare, and beyond expensive. I'm not sure if you realize how expensive this build actually is. I like the build regardless though.

Found yesterday building towards this that a 2-handed Obsidian Axe with 30+ minion melee does zero for damage output of the raptor (and saber). Tried other weapons as well, no change. Finally tried with NO weapon at all, same damage output from Raptor/Saber, sometimes even higher. Pretty discouraging... :(
@@terps710 Haven't found that yet. But the point is that damage did not scale as expected. I did some more testing and found that there is some snapshotting going on. If I resummon the raptor without any weapon, damage is crap. If i equip the weapon, re-summon raptor - all seems good. If I then unequip the weapon again, it seems the raptor damage is retained from the weapon even though I don't have any weapon equipped... weird.
Any way to (fairly) easily farm the Naal's tooth in CoF? or is it better to go Merchants guild and just buy it? Lastly, any good uniques to use for leveling?
Also, just hit 15 and selected Beastmaster. So, right now I have Swipe and Warcry specced, should I just go to 20 and then spec Raptor, or spec Maelstrom? So many options, I mean it's too many options lol
Cool stuff! One question: Ambush 8/8 is 200% (non-multiplicative?) for one attack every 5s right? Is this actually good? Does it even apply to companions? They get AotS benefits from HotD, but based on the wording, the 200% here seems to be a separate buff for when "you" attack, not a bonus to AotS itself? Even if it does apply to companions, 200%inc once every 5s seems weak for a 7pt investment? (Obv 1st point makes sense)
Hey Aaron, i saw a build on leaderboards using 1 wolf and using howl for other raptors, with frenzy totem granting 150% critical strike chance after howl for allies, does it count for companions have you tested it?
I'm sorry what item? The raptor sword is required for the raptor build

Nice build! I'm confused about 1 thing, in the beastmaster passive you put 8 point in ambush. Do minion get the 200% buff with hunters of the deep? I thought they only get the aspect of the shark buff. Thank you for the nice build.
Aaron, you keep posting builds with no progression in them. I just skip your builds because of that and I guarantee a lot of others do as well. Please, if you're going to post a build you recommend people try, include the passive and skill progression in the build itself.

I noticed you don't have a setting in your filter for an axe, does that matter? or do your other settings within the filer cover it somehow?

I was having a blast with this build, then I got turned on to the squirrel build.
Fun build. Its kind of mind blowing that one falcon outdamages 5 raptors though. 😊

what about totem for even more buffs? and the direct left node in warcry giving crit chance?
Why not go through Eviscerating Howl (Warcry) if it synergizes well with In for theKill (Raptor)???

How do i get a 2nd raptor in this build? The skill tooltip says i can have 2 companions by default but i cant summon a 2nd raptor.
I'm lvl 62 and just added Natures Embrace. Should I have two Raptors at this point? I do not have Naal's Tooth yet? And only one raptor.

How to summon few raptors at the same time? I can only summon one each kind (Wolf Raptor bear etc. )
You need the unique item Naal's tooth, it lets u summon max companions as raptors.
What did you do to have 5 or 6 raptor up at once??

QQ How much we can push corruption ? ( with better gear, not a good like)
currently at 380... id guess over 500
This build is fun, but survivability is low. I am lvl 88 and can barely do 100 corruption. Other than that it is a fun build.
Forgot to add, I have max resists and the only stats I am missing on gear is the +dmg to minions with enhancements to unique.

You cant, the ability to get more than one raptor is unique to that unique sword
