The most honest statement I've heard on UA-cam: "Its 50% knowledge and 50% luck".
Yes sir 😁
I know Im kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to watch newly released series online?
@Merrick Nash i use FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
@Jordan Orion yup, been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)
@Jordan Orion thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it !!
This is gold, I have been watching car flip videos for years, and no one shares this info
Thanks 😊
Mate you are a god sent.
Solid advice, especially the value of keeping the car clean and taking good pictures, a little goes a long way. If you can, take pictures at golden hour, it's basically cheating it looks so good.
Hondas and Toyotas are my go to for flip cars. Experimented with a Ford and it was a nightmare. Always stick to cars you know when flipping!
So true. I always tell people stick to what you know build your niche
Great video👍👍...I am from Nigeria and proud to say your videos are so real and helpful...Just about to start my dealership..Wish myself success
Hi lucky this is Rick Hernandez you’re 90% right on I’ve been in the car 30 years the biggest problem I have if people do not know how to negotiate they don’t know how to ask for the deal and they don’t know how to sell you They need to go out sell anything carpets cars whatever learn how to negotiate and then sell and then you could get into the car business and you have a 90% chance I’m making money
I love the way you talk very honest and normal like easy to understand not to fast and explained very well not that many people can speak like this… thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge it has helped me. Ty
Hi Lucky,
Thanks for all this knowledge you pass on to us. Ive owned an auto body/ restoration shop for 20+ years. Bought and sold a lot of vehicles along the way. Most always made a profit. Theres techniques you talk about where to buy and sell ive never considered before. Which i am not implementing.
Im getting my dealers license in Jan. Starting the new year flipping the 5k and under range.
Thanks for sharing with us. 👍🏻
You’re so smart. I thought I knew it all but you keep surprising me with a lot of new information
I appreciate that!
I believe this is the most solid info about flipping I’ve seen!
Very realistic. People who are honest with themselves will find it discouraging, simply because it is too much work. Like me. I would be the guy relaxing on Sunday, betting on a few games and having a beer.
My first few years I worked every single day now that I’m a little more established I always take Sunday off for football and beer 🍺 🏈
Keep up the good work- you pretty much have this UA-cam thing down! It's taking me a lot longer because I have to make a living and I take the time to produce quality content. It also takes longer since I'm deaf and I have to manually put closed captions in my videos so people can understand my voice. We all have the potential to succeed via this creative way of making a living as long as we put the work into it, especially in the beginning. Your information is very valuable so it is a matter of time before your channel takes off.
Thank you Korey for the kind word. I appreciate it Good luck to you as well on youtube. Looking forward to all the great content you and I will make 😁👍
Highly informative Vlog full of real life tips for someone looking to get into car flipping business. Thanks.
Thank you for the Awesome comment 😁👍
Just found this guy and I instantly subscribed.
Thanks and welcome to the family 😁👍
I love how he explained this video he was so helpful and honest ❤️
Thank you for educating us about the car rental system. My friends think that I'm crazy because I always say safety 1st
you are right
Most storage unit have dirt parking for cheap 35 dollars car. Rent bay keep tools. I've seen dirt parking alway 3 cars in one spot read contract. Close proximity to your house or daily routine. Also great clean place meet potential buyers. Flip 5 watch out cars have to much repair needed. Time how long labor took for your records
Even two years later, this is excellent advice. Thanks for the info
Really good advice here! Im going to go back and write notes on some of this stuff.
thanks I appreciate it :)
hey bud thanks for the tips 22 year old in Texas with my dealers license been up and running for a year now cheap cars but trying!
Well Texas is the best state to do buy here pay here my advice would be by at least 10 cars and two of those every month try to sell buy here pay here to start building your portfolio something that you could buy for thousand and $1500 if you get $1000 down to at least get your mostly out of the vehicle it’ll be hard in the beginning but once you start getting those $300 a month payments or $150 every two weeks that snowball will grow by the time you’re 35 you’ll have $2 million in profoilo and you’ll be making about $75k-100k in monthly payments. Depending at where you’re at in Texas you actually have the ability to own the property you’re on and if you’re on your property you can get special loans that will give you a little bit of capital to start your buy here pay here as well
You could make a car mechanically sound but if it's ugly people will not buy it. Truth! I had a 02 Toyota Tacoma. Perfect running but with a busted window on the driver's side of the extended cab. So there was a plastic taped to it and it looked pretty ragged. Took out to a used car lot. I told the guy I'm willing to let it go for a thousand dollars. He said nope. Later decided not to sell it. Met an old guy in a parking lot of a store. He said man if you could fix that up a little could probably get 10000 for that. This was mid covid when the microprocessor shortage was driving used car through the roof.
First hand knowledge full of dynamite
New subscriber here! Still trying to learn everything I can! I know the definite goal is to get a used car dealer license/plate to allow the buyers a test drive. but for beginners like myself with no dealer plate what do you do with test drives? Let them drive with no reg or insurance? What if something happens. I’m basically gambling my investment letting strangers drive my inventory before they buy it! I could make them sign a liability waiver, but I also fear that can scare potential buyers away! I just don’t know the best approach is! TIA!!
Thank you for this very straightforward and informative video.
I am now a subscriber for a long as you are on here. Thanks for the schooling.
Thanks for subbing!
1. Buy low and sell high.
We need more of this thanks. When’s part ????
❤❤❤❤ God bless you man thank you so much for this info you the best ever ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
I love your vernacular.
Great advice
Awesome and very informative. Thanks for sharing Blessings upon you.
Thanks for watching!
Great info Lucky thanks. Wishing you continued success.
Thanks I appreciate it 😁
Thanks man I am in Las Vegas too.
Team Vegas
Lucky dropping bomb after bomb.
Yes Sir
I always ignore blue book value and only check ebay to see what they're going for
offer up and FB marktet place. is how i do pricing for cars under 9k
@@LuckyLopez777 But on ebay the bidding tells you what people are willing to pay
@@danf8721 It depends because trucks if you’re in the Midwest they’re cheaper but if you’re in Las Vegas trucks go for stupid amounts of money so if you press your car to low you’re gonna miss out on that you go for what the local markets going to pay because you may see somebody one over pay for something special but in your local market they may not so that’s why I always go off of your local market now if it’s something that you plan on putting on eBay only you can go that route but I try to use local numbers
Thanks for the info. If you ever in Houston look me up.
It might be a while. But I love Houston. Might open up a dealership there soon
Very helpful, very informative, thanks! What are the odds of getting a referral fee from a dealer for the intro to the owner rather than buying the vehicle and turning it to them?
A lot of dealerships Pay referral fees only upon the sale of a vehicle I’ve seen him as low as $150 and as much as $1000 depending on vehicles
@@LuckyLopez777 Thanks! I assume that a conversation with the GSM?
@@KenSDCA I would start with the sales guys there more approachable then you work with either the finance manager or the sales manager a lot of small independent stores are a lot easier to get to and the more anxious to get customers so you may get better deals working with independent stores with referrals
Great vids bro!! Thanks for everything you're doing for us newbies. Hope to see you hit that 10k sub soon🤙🤙
Thanks brother 😁👍
@@LuckyLopez777 Hey brother I have been watching a bunch of your vids great content!! It's got me thinking about a series you could do. If you're interested let me know the best way to get in touch with you to see if we could colab on this. Happy New year talk to later🤙🤙

Hello friend, and thank you for the informative content. I have a question, as a car flipper what’s the highest mileage you would feel with on a car you plan on purchasing to flip?
I’m more of a price person than a Miles person the car could’ve 200,000 miles but if I can get a cheap enough and still sell it and make a decent profit I’ll go for it but usually if I tell people if they’re starting out flipping cars try to stay under like 130,000 miles just to kind of limit your major repairs and you have an easier time selling them
Happy to have found you.
Thanks. Happy you watched our videos. Please subscribe 😁👍
Awesome , thanks for summarizing all those years of experience in this videos , how can we program a consultation ? And how much will it be ?
My email is in the description if you want to contact me ask for your questions I can do a one hour consultation over zoom or a phone call. Lucky@automotivelife.com

Really helpful and very informative .
Thanks for the information
Thank you for taking the time to write an awesome comment 😁👍
Great info, love your content. 👍
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
Really love your content, congratulations
Love the channel. Nothing but quality information!! Do you have any advice for paper work or a crm when selling cars to customers? About to get dealer license and this is the biggest part that makes me nervous.
Appreciate all the hard work and info you bring!
The CRM inside dealer center is probably the best you can track everybody extremely easy you can send out texts emails phone calls you can categorize people definitely sign up for that and try it out
@@LuckyLopez777 what do you use for building and presenting a menu? That’s the only part of the business I’m missing. Never been in finance, always sales.
@@jc802413 I have one that I prsonaly made. but. Depening on your DMS the have plug ins for menus if you would like to sell other products. I would call ur DMS company and ask them
@@LuckyLopez777 thanks for the reply. I took your recommendation in another video and signed up for dealercenter. I asked my rep how to build a menu in DC and he had no idea what I was talking about. I’m already signed up with GWC warranties within dealercenter. Just don’t have a way to build different packages/levels and print it and show it to the customer.
@@jc802413 That’s one of the downfalls when it comes to each of these companies they have their own portals and a lot of them or not compatible with some of the menu companies there’s a whole bunch if you look online just put DMS menus and you can login but the downfall is sometimes the information gets a little mixed up
Thank you for this amazing informative Video, i am thinking of getting a wholesale dealer license to buy cars from auctions and put them as a consignment at dealerships, do you think that is a good idea or just get a dealer license and have a small office and sell directly to public??
Doing consignment is a good low-cost way to get started you just have to make sure that the dealership is not having any financial problems because at any time the flooring company could take those cars and you have to go to court to get ownership back. But I would definitely test the waters see if you like it and then open up a small dealership
Merry Christmas! What do you think of renting an office in Georgia and get my dealer license instead of starting an individual car lot? Do you know any more states that allow you to rent an office instead of having to get big lot.
To get started it’s not a bad thing so you can save overhead but in the long run I would definitely get an office most states don’t allowed anymore because of all the fraud that’s been going on with the people that just kind of user licenses like that. I’m sure their Are some states that still allow that also some states allow a brokers license where you don’t need a lot you just need a small office and you run your car through dealerships in the auction
is $2000-3000 a good amount to start for someone who’s planning to flip honda’s and nissans ? since i personally drive them and familiar with
Dude you are cold, been listening while scouring daily runlists
hello great videos! quick question which subprime lenders do u like to use I know in another video u said that u have 4 that u now use
Thanks for sharing
Nice tips, thanks
Thanks 😁👍
i would think fuel efficient cars would have more deman as the price of gasoline escalates. What cars are the best bang for the buck for flipping?
Unfortunately there’s no exact formula every market is different it really depends on how cheap you buy your cars because even though gas is going up my fastest seller if I get the most calls on our trucks and SUVs by far
@@LuckyLopez777 so SUV's like Jeep Wranglers outsell Civics when gas is $4/ gallon?
@@joesmith9483 to be honest there’s some people that really don’t care about gas prices I remember when gas was five dollars a gallon and we were selling Hummers like crazy lol
Thank you
How much is dealers license? We have no garage, etc. Just work on side of road .
Very Cool !!!!!!!
Thanks 😁👍
Great job man
Hey man i just got in to this business and whats with this auction prices!!!! When do you think it will go down , please make a update video about this issue . All the dealers are overpaying and having problems with prices , when will the prices go down ??????
Stupidity is at an all-time high at the auction dealers are complaining about not selling cars while they’re overpaying for car still there is a large back log of repos. Most auctions are holding him and only releasing a few at the time in order not to flood the market that will crash the prices depending on what state you’re in the prices should correct around February which dealers are probably hype it up again for tax season and still continue to overpaying
I like it when he says blah blah blah
Here for the floral shirts. Lol
Yessss
great great tips!
?How can you have multiple wholesale cars in AZ? Don't you only get one dealer plate?
good video, you need to tell me about this Az WA place
Quality advice
Great video..
Thanks
Lucky I have been purchasing cars from the local tow yards and making a couple bucks. I was looking for some advice regarding the lien paperwork. I’m having to register these cars and then wait weeks to receive the pink slip before I can sell it. I’m impatient and hate sittiing around waiting for pinks.
Then maybe you shouldn't be buying cars from a tow yard Duh 😂
Amazing video
Thanks Matt. :)
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
When you say car broker license do you a dealer license? Also for car flipping with a dealer or wholesale license isn’t there a limit depending on the state?
flipping cars as a person. there is a limit. as a wholesaler or dealer there is not
@@LuckyLopez777 makes sense thank you
Can you do car flipping full time long term
you can if you enjoy i and make money. but if you want to flip a lot of cars get a dealers or wholesale license
What you do when making a deal and see the title and it was signed for a long time or the title was never transfer to the recent seller
You just have to make sure all titles are signed. Correct. Always get a bill of sale as back up and always take a pic of there drivers license and phone number.
I’m in ny and bought a car with no title in Pennsylvania. What is my best course of action?
I would pay a tow truck company to lean it. Most will charge you money and you may lose the car if there is a lien holder or the old owner comes and gets it
Got me itchin for a flip.
Do it :)
What do you think of dealer bid sales? Like auctionsimplified.com?
There are a lot of good third-party applications that are doing online auctions for public as well as dealers only I currently started using ACV But there are a lot of pros and cons to these sites one big one is you have somebody that makes eight bucks an hour taking pictures of the cars not putting down what’s really wrong with them and you’re buying of site on scene I like to go touch cars in person and physically see them that’s why I prefer Manhime Adesa AAA and Copart
Hey, I have a lot of people asking me to sell their cars. Can you help me out
Do you need a dealer's license to sell cars on marketplace if not how do you handle the title thanks look to hear from you soon good video I mean I am a private owner just trying to sell my vehicle
What about getting the license and doing it legally? do i need to get insurance and a lot and all that? I live in Missouri
If you wind up being a auto broker you just need an office to work out of a small insurance policy and a bond if you want to sell to the general public then you’re going to need a dealer license Which is a lot more money but if you live in a rule area it’ll be much cheaper to get a dealers license
😎cool info
Thanks 😁👍
Hey how is you system to work with in house financing if you offer to you buyers , you know there out a lot “ raza” don’t have i ss# they has job but can get a car from big dealers
That is our main clientele are people with no SSN numbers we take I TINs Passports But now day the franchise stores can do the same financing
@@LuckyLopez777 thanks these couple day I been watching you videos learn more things than others you tube guys
@@cesarChavez-dr4dk Thanks I appreciate it. I try to share as much stuff about the dealership/ automotive world as I can 😁👍
Can you get a diler license at 17?
Is there a conunity to Heip other dealers
There’s a National Dealer is association but you have to pay for it so far the only one is this UA-cam channel LOL
Anothing thing I've learned. You gotta have patience 👌🏾
100%
👍
😁👍
if one is serious one can make lots of money in just about any trade etc... for example there's billions of cars out there if you know how to do autobody repair and paint thats a hugh plus, period, the rest is down hill thats my 2 cents on business.
SHARE THE AZ , WAS PLACE.. THOUGHT THIS WAS TO HELP EACH OTHER OUT? LOL
I want to do a quick flip after driving it for one year. Ideally making a $1k profit minimum pushing even. Is that possible?
Not $1k haha I would like a 5-8% return after my expenses for the year.
@@bleachforlife I’m making a video now I drove the car for almost 2 years and I made about $20,000 after I sold it
$500 will barely cover the sales tax and registration fees
I would love to meet you '
Can I do this without getting a dealers license or is getting that a must?
You can. but I would get a dealers license so you can sell more cars. do finance and have access to auctions
💪🏽
Iya ya Allah.
Yesss
i love you
I love you ❤️
What type of cover your ass receipt do you give car purchaser? Sold as is, that kind of thing.
Idk if you could nail that fat girlfriend joke but it was funny
😁👍
Let’s say you capitalize in todays market, you finance a car then sell it a month later to make 15k in 3 months. Isn’t that basically fraud?
