Came here for kyle korver shot never seen one. Great video though.
Can you do a breakdown on what OKC runs? Cause I honestly don't think they run any actual plays.
On Cleaning The Glass they show that they run this play called Hawk at the end of games but they didn't run it very well or that often
Love this series!
love watching these, can we have more videos like these please. thank you
I think the post isn't as effective in this play. It can lead to being double teamed in the corner as opposed to the point guard running cause he still can run across from the out of bounds area to get the ball in case it gets broken. Regardless this is a good offense action.
Hi coach, could you breakdown the Grizzlies' defense please?
I wanna see the defensive side of the play too i.e. what's the best way to guard against it.
💜💛💯 Darvin Ham
Thor loves this play.
like these 'Plays We Love' vids, keep it up.
Thanks, I love doing them!
Coach nick do a video about why zone defenses were allowed in the nba
This will be a common action for the Lakers next year, Lebron and AD on the initial ball screen action with shooters on the weak side
Coach can you do a video on Kevin Love's recent production?
The one thing about this play is it requires very good timing for the passer and the cutter, I don't think this is recommended for guys with bad team chemistry.
+Tommy Xiao8 only one way to get that timing down: practice
It's definitely not a play you can run without practicing but once you get the timing down it's great.
first
Also this is one of my favorite plays in basketball
Awesome!
Can you make a video breaking down real madrid's 16 year old kid's game?
I'm really curious what you think Malik Monk's abilities to run the 2 and 3 at the pro level might be, especially after his eruption against UNC. Some liken him to Ray Allen, others to KD. What do you think?
+MrBasketballbean I haven't seen him yet....
BBALLBREAKDOWN you should watch some Kentucky film of him. He is a tad undersized for the NBA 2 spot at 6'3" but I'm curious what you might notice
Not sure if you know, but did the Spurs create this action or is just that they're most associated with it?
That pass from Diaw... how is that possible?
Jeremy Lee especially well... lets just say with his um size lol
this is a great play at the end of the game when you down 2 and need a basket. why aren't teams running this in crunchtime?
we're starting to see it more - I love it when it's a dribble hand off out of the low post!
aren't there better ways to get open looks especially during crunchtime? in the clips shown, even an average defense was able to bother the shot
cavs breakdown please
seems the hammer action corner 3 has low percentage... LOL. nice vid tho!
I came for Korver
Why is it called the hammer play?
Stefan Li same here
but this play lacks of alternatives when the corner is not open after the screen.
The passer will be stucked at the baseline with no one to pass to.
Actually if they take the corner away, the player who sets the hammer screen should roll down the rim. They should be open at the rim. Look at the Detroit example when they hit Leuer.
+theJumpBall.net BINGO! Also, worst case scenario, the defense has to knock the corner pass out of bounds
Who is "We"?
Bballbreakdown presumably
+Michael Jackson coaches!
BBALLBREAKDOWN coach could you make a video about why the spurs are struggling
breakdown on how the grizzlies DESTROYED the warriors?
its not so much a play as its a cut
there can be 100 of ways to get to it
and particularly like to see it as a third or forth option
It's not a cut - it's 2 simultaneous actions, so I say it's considered a play. The cut to the corner can be called a Hammer cut
BBALLBREAKDOWN What exactly is a "play" coach?
Why h3h3 Ethan is commentating ? Im confused
third
Not a good play, a very narrow angle to shoot, too few options, and point guard easy to be double teamed
If this play is so "effective" why 90% of these guys don't score? I mean if it's a good play couldn't you just find the plays with scores, and not misses? Everybody knows that the corner 3 pointer is the most difficult shot in basketball so I don't think this is as good play as you say...
+Слобода Или Смрт um, the corner 3 is the easiest three to make
Please never put Aron Baynes in the thumbnail again I can't stand looking at him
