THIS is what regular people would use 3D printing for. Very good that you made this video. I see a lot of videos of, sure, quite cool things. But not every day useful things like these. And also good that you mentioned what did work and what didn't (and sometimes why). I liked it Maxim, thank you :)
Nice, this is about exactly how I'm using my 3d-printer. So much cable-clamps, hose adapters, random hooks, project cases and replacement parts. I'm definitely going to try to print something like those bolt-knobs, that idea is just awesome.
Impressive 3D-Printing Journey. Especially interestring: all the failures. Usually you don't hear those. Would bei nice to include a link to a plattform where you have published your prints.
This is so inspiring. What would we create to solve problems if we had the tech at home? Me, I solved my recent issue with duck tape and pool noodles. Worked surprisingly well...
I like it how you show all the things that didn't work out as intended, because that is what happens 85% of the time. If you are near NRW, maybe drop by at the UN Hack Bar in Unna ;-)
@@SeamusHarper1234 got it. 3D printing is great in a sense that it's rather safe and fool-proof for hacking spaces like yours. In some cases wood and/or metal can solve the problem better (or solve problems 3D printer can't solve at all!) but running a such a workshop for the public is that much harder, dirtier and more dangerous.
Hello Maxim, I hope you are fine. I would like to ask about the enclosure of the stepper motor to the Z axis installed on your mini lathe. I have one mini lathe with an ELS controlling just the X axis and I'm thinking to install the MEGAELS to control both axes, but due to the protection installed on the back of my lathe, I will install the stepper motor in front of my lathe. Do you have the 3D model of this enclosure to share with me? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with our community
@@MaximKachurovskiy thank you for answer my request. The enclosure that I mentioned not is showed in this vídeo, but in others where you talk about Mega Els or Nano Els. In this enclosure is installed the stepper motor with pulleys that coupling on Z axis.
Hi Pablo, thank you for the kind words! I'm learning to use a metal milling machine and waiting for the metal lathe to arrive. Also, selling some of the stuff that accumulated over the years to make room for those new toys in my workshop. Last 3D print is imgur.com/a/lB5A90Q for the daughter's parrots. For video editing I'm using DaVinci Resolve and Audacity for audio, both are free. What are you making?
@@MaximKachurovskiy no thank YOU, as another one said before, finally a video that show real useful objects, not only "cool" ones. Id love to take the time to do the same but to be honest, my ratio is about 50% useful items, 50% gadgets and toys for my kid 🤣
For projects with gears you should order those very stable nylon gears(rods, helixes, etc.) from china. They come in cheap bags with various sizes, adapting your projects to them should be easy.
@@MaximKachurovskiy You can get them from banggood, aliexpress etc. I assume they are gears which are usually used for certain moveable parts of electronic devices, like optical drives, printers etc. Most of them will fit on a 2mm steel rod/axis from the home improvement store (at least were i live they sell 2mm).
Отлично. Дом без принтера скоро будет невозможен, это как микроволновка или пылесос, вещь необходимая. Дочь Арина и по акценту понятно что по русски говорите.
Hi Waxwy, most of these aren't generally useful since they're designed for my particular dimension and need. If you want any particular one, I'm happy to share e.g. on Thingiverse. I already have the Zhiyun adapter there - www.thingiverse.com/thing:4108925

THIS is the useful 3D prints video the internet has been waiting for. Thank you for making it.
Honestly really an underrated video. I've seen a lot of 3d printing content and can say this is a solid journey!
Its so interesting to see how i completely use my 3D Printer different, but nice video!
Best "useful 3d prints" video on UA-cam! Good work👍
Practically the only one that shows useful not cool and trendy prints
Ahh, I love the Germans for these down to earth comments!
Direkt zur Sache und klasse dass Du auch beschreiben hast was und warum etwas nicht gut klappte! tolles Video :)
"Batman never showed up, soooo not super useful!" Hahahaha awesome! Great video
I know I am kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@Kaiden Dax I watch on Flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Maurice Jay definitely, I've been using FlixZone for since march myself =)
@Maurice Jay Thanks, signed up and it seems to work :) Appreciate it !
@Kaiden Dax No problem xD

126 subscribers and this might be THE best "useful 3D prints" around. Awesome job. Do share more if you have them!
This was a great video. Very fast and no wasted time. Very nice to get a lot of different ideas.
Love your humorous honesty!
Thank you for the many imaginative and inventive ideas.
Thank you, Marty.
All of them are useful.
Ah, the REAL struggles of 3D printing :)
Do you have anything to hold the shop vac hose in place
The hex socket if you use the finely ground salt powder technique you can make it much stronger
Please explain.
I really really like this video because it felt so relatable Ahah. So much stuff that I do to solve things at some, some work, some really don't ;)
You should have more subs! Great video mate.
Love your honesty. Got one more sub
as soon as I have a print that doesn't work, I start redesigning. So much potential!
Yes, usually takes 2-3 iterations to get the dimensions perfect for the complex prints.
Very cool man :D
maybe those hooks would be better done in PETG rather than PLA?
22 days total print time is very little to say "no maintenance"
What kind of motor is in the rotary painting platform?
Something like
a.aliexpress.com/_B1W1zP but the whole setup was very much underpowered, a slightly more expensive worm gear motor would be way better.

I'm in Höhenkirchen in Bavaria, a fair 500km away :) This bar looks like an awesome place by the Google Maps photos. Do you run it?
