If you're wondering if she could go on without problems, I think you should watch the performance of "Show (唱)" on her channel, it's from the same concert and was the 22nd song (of 23). Other vocal coaches said that she doesn't have problems to sustain her voice over a 2 hour concert because she always relaxes the ends of her more strained lines with little sighs and squeaks and so on. Ado adds a lot of stuff in her live performances, like the screams here in Unravel, which make the songs, in my opinion, better than the studio versions. I think Unravel in particular is way better live because she projects so much emotion and the music is way better mixed. The instrumental in the recording sounds kind of "empty" and too artificial for a rock/metal song if you ask me. Babymetal for example always has the same "problems", so I wonder if it's the engineers that have no or little experience with this kind of music.

Thanks for the additional info! Ado's live is always a great choice to watch. Just depends on if the audience can "absorb" the emotion energy like my video said (if the AI subtitles is not going wrong lol).
And I agree the mixing of the live version is better than the studio one.

Ado is singing that way on purpose as an act, not in any emotional way. This song is the theme song of an anime, so she is expressing the content of the anime (anxiety, fear, pain, etc.).

Unravel is the theme song to Tokyo Ghoul, TK's version is for season 1 when the main character is at the edge of breaking down, Ado's version is for season 2 when the main character had been broken down. A little context for the song and how the singers perform them to make it a different version will help you appreciate them more. Great reaction and analysis, I really appreciated your effort!

有一種音樂模型叫metal，歌裡會有大量嘶吼，這是很常見的，這位聲樂老師可能沒有接觸過metal，有些大驚小怪，也沒有先了解歌曲的背景就隨意評論，有誤導旁人的疑慮，Ado的嘶吼配合動漫角色情緒渲染得很成功。
我覺得老師正因為涉獵過metal才知道為什麼要「擔心」Ado，並且又說「但她是Ado所以不用擔心」。

You're too logical. Japanese music producers are way better than you. If you know the context of this song and lyrics, you'll appreciate more.
Japanese artists are out of your league.
If you listen carefully, you'll know she does all of those on purpose. You can hear how she remains high control even when she screams.
I think he does , he's wearing a Tomie shirt after all so I don't think he's unfamiliar with Tokyo Ghoul and its opening. Furthermore, he's supposed to give comments like this since he's a vocal coach, literally said on his bio and their job is basically help you to keep on singing stablely without putting too much tension on your vocal chords and suddenly break down half way.
Not many can sing like Ado and so if one normal person tries to mimic her, he/she can only go to a certain extension , so yeah, you can definitely say some Japanese artists and/or producers are way out of his league but as a reasonable coach , he's done a fairly good job giving his opinions and analyzations to this performance and not just pure SHOCK react
Great analysis on the performance. On the emotional part, in my opinion i think Ado has complete comtrol over her emotional state. She screams a lot but knowing her that is just Ado doing Ado stuff😂😂😂It wouldnt really be much of a Ado song orginal/cover without her screaming

THIS IS NOT GOOD , 你係音樂 老師， 絕對應該比任何人明白，理論跟情緒既演譯應該放多小小感性，呢個係live,成個build up, ADO呢種你所形容無理智，中後期失控，係因為一樣你漏咗最重要既野，唔係因為佢係專業既ADO, 係因為歌詞同呢個音樂表達既故事既意思，必須人格分裂去演繹，必須在理智和失控做一種不能拿捏的心情去做的一首歌，這歌很難，原唱也放很多心機去做這首歌，她把那個心情拿捏得非常好，由唱法到爆和大不爆的時間拿得近乎完美，有就崩潰跟收斂的那種心情，你們做reacting 的也是專業人士，請拿多一點時間理解why they do it, as you say you know Ado, put more homework before you say that.
