ESPN’s Aaron Schatz on Tee Higgins extension: “Higgins signed his franchise tag tender Monday, but he is the only tagged player who hasn't signed a long-term extension. He's one of the top No. 2 receivers in the league, finishing 14th in receiving DVOA last season.
Higgins is an important part of the Bengals' offense, and Cincinnati doesn't have the depth at the position to make up for his loss if he leaves after 2024.”

Don’t think Tee gets extended but he should. If Bengals utilize the tag with Chase he’s locked up through 2026. Extend Tee through 2026 and trade him end of season before draft for a first if they win a Super Bowl.

You guys should look at the amount of snaps Higgins has played compared to Pittman. Bc Pittman has played 40% more snaps than Higgins. Availability is the best ability for a NFL player

If Burton has a breakthrough season I don’t think we pay tee
We should just extend Tee through 2026. Frontload the contract. 40M this year, 28M next year, 20M in 2026. If we win SB can get a first round pick for him in trade next years draft. Chase is locked up through 2026. Don’t have to extend him until then.

N. They won’t resign Tee Higgins. After this year we won’t need him. We will have our first SB win and Tee can leave and make a fortune somewhere else. Chase is going nowhere though. We are going to be just fine at WR yall. Do you know why? Because the Bengals draft WR’s VERY WELL! They are the best team in the league at drafting WR’s. Burton is going to be a fucking star. Next year he will move up to WR2. Out of the slot this year we have Mike Gesicki. Look Tyler Boyd is great and has been a WR2 on this team and had 2 back to back 1000+ yard seasons. But Boyd is 6’2’’ 203 and runs 4.58 with a 35 inch vertical ball prettty good. Doesn’t blow you away but good and solid. Mike Gesicki is 6’6’’ 247 with a 41.5 inch vertical. Now that is fucking crazy. THAT guy is our new slot WR!? You want to talk about a mismatch. And Gesiki is actually 6’6’’ he is t 6’4 3/4’’ or some shit like

Lol the Bengals should be number 1 or number 2 on that list. Last year and 2021 they were number one. How do you upgrade your WR3 from Boyd to Burton and drop in the rankings? How is that? This is what I think. I think Burton is going to have a near 1000 yard season at WR3 this year and next year becomes the WR2. Next year Burton will move up to 2 and I believe Iosivas will become the new 3. I think Jones is mainly going to be a kick ass return specialist. I think he will still get a lot of slot snaps though. Next year we won’t have a designated slot wr. I believe Chase, Burton, and Iosivas, Jones, and Irwin will all take tons in the slot. Chase wants more slot snaps this year.
