ive only seen like 6 episodes of archer but after i saw this scene last night i have officially become a fan. All the jokes in this scene along with the comedic timing has finally made me commit to this show
To this day whenever I have to assign/reassign passwords I think of this clip. Skytanic is hands down my favorite episode they made. I always wish they could get that comedic rhythm back in the later seasons, but I honestly think the first season (and the early episodes in season 2) they captured lightning in a bottle and can't ever be duplicated.
I don't understand how people dislike this show without watching it ever.... I love the show, I wouldn't simply look for funny clips online to get a taste of it. These clips are only funny if you watch the context of the episode and watch a couple episodes in general to get a feel for each character's personality and their relationships. You probably couldn't understand many of the jokes that were jam packed in this clip because this show revolves around inside jokes that require the audience to watch the entire episode. For instance, Archer saying "Lana, the helium!" is a revisitation of an earlier joke where Archer can't grasp that the blimp isn't flammable, though he is time and time again told that it's fine. This highlights his arrogant character and inability to care about what anyone says but himself. I can respect if you don't like the show, but I just suggest watching the first episode--I think you'd enjoy the show if you have good taste. If not, then oh well. Don't get mad if the humor goes over your heads...
Wish they had added another 5 seconds to the video. It shows Archer jumping on one foot going "OW OW OW OW EXACT SAME SPOT!" in reference to Lana shooting his foot in the exact same spot she had in a previous episode! This show contains so many references that are funny, but even funnier if you keep up with it. M as in Mancy!

I love the little static crack in "the teeny bit ??? blue one". Lana doesn't notice it and does not realize they still don't know which wire needs to be cut. Sterling does notice it but he does not know how to express his concern - other than once more asking which one he should cut.
