I'm so happy I got to experience this as a young kid. Me and my best bud played through this several times when it first came out, were like 11-12 at the time. Perfect age to have experienced it as well - we were old enough to "get it" and figure it out, and young enough to still have all the time and imagination to enjoy it to the fullest. Some incredible memories.

This is definitely the single greatest game ever created. IGN crowned breath of the wild as #1 but this one is by far the greatest. About 7 to 10 years ahead of its time and that says alot for a game released in 1998. Masterpiece is an understatement.
I remember playing this game as a kid and one of my friends from school had it also and I remember calling him up and telling him that I just finished Jabu's Belly which he was stuck on and helping him out through the phone and telling him how I beat it. There was such an amazing feel of exploration in the game and finding out and telling other people what you saw.

It's crazy to believe that only about twenty years ago you played this for the first time in front of your N64 and that this whole adventure was completely new to you
THE reason I scrounged and saved my money as a kid to buy myself a N64. I didn’t want any other game and once I was able to buy my N64 & this game simultaneously it was 100% worth my while and effort it took to save up my money. This game is truly a masterwork of art 10 out of 10 without question or doubt. So many great memories playing this as a kid and even to this day I refuse to get rid of my N64 to play this gem 🖤⚔️
This game and super Mario sunshine bring me so much happiness I cannot even describe, thank u so much for posting these videos I appreciate the hell out of u! ❤️❤️
This is an old video but I just want to say that I appreciate the upload, from what I can tell scanning around through it the person who played it did NOT roll and jump everywhere they were going which was something I kept running into in older longplays of this game. I don't know why those people thought it was necessary to rush the playthrough at the cost of hearing "YAH, YAH, YAH, YAH" three times a second for eight hours. I like to leave longplays on in the background when I'm doing other things, as you asked about in one of your comments here, so it's nice to have found one for this game that isn't painful to listen to.
Lol thanks so much for the feedback. I generally use the obnoxious rolling in Zelda OoT as an example to my team as to what NOT to do in any of our recordings. It’s nice to see people pointing out how they’re appreciative of it
I just started playing it today in the online expansion pack and it’s so good. I’m already loving it. I’ve always loved Zelda, but unfortunately I never had the chance to own an N64 cause I’m from the Wii era 😂 but I’m happy I can finally experience this master piece and can officially stop being a fake fan lol
Perhaps Nintendo's biggest achievement here is in creating a believable world, a collection of locations unimpeded by CD access and FMV cut scenes, brought together with a sense of cohesion that makes it the ultimate slice of fantasy "virtual reality". A true work of genius.
Yes! This makes me think of my older brother. We’d just sit around while he played the video game, trying to figure out how to get certain items, beating bosses, dying, getting frustrated over a certain level. I just love it. ❤️

For the final battle vs Ganon, that Biggoron Sword is actually weaker than the Master Sword. Is why it took you so long to finish him. Everywhere else in the game, Biggoron is stronger. But not there.
the fact that the nintendo switch online expansion pack is now out i just got started and oh my god it feels so good to be playing ocarina of time again
10 hours... It felt like I spent a lifetime playing this back in the day. It probably took me 50-60 hours in reality, which, at the time, was the most time i'd ever spent in a game.

Anyone who played this experienced a major part of history. I misspent my art college days sat at home, official game guide in-hand, playing through this. It’s up there with ‘A Link To The Past’. The game was so much work and took so much time, dedication and concentration that it was seriously one of the first things in life that taught me to persevere and focus. I ended up facing demons both in-game and personal. Not a second was wasted playing this. So exciting!
Loved playing this on my n64 back in 08, and especially loved playing goldeneye and mario party 2. So many amazing memories sitting in front of that CRT TV ♥️
Thank you for posting this...I will be watching not over to find things on mine...this was my favorite game of all times...I had it on n64 but I have it on Nintendo 3dsl xl...
I feel so old I'm 24 and I played this game when I was a kid this game, Mario 64, Duke Nukem, and Golden Eye take me back to my childhood I was 3 years old when this game came out
I am almost 34 and I played this game for the first time on the morning of Christmas Eve with my little brother in 1999. That moment when we entered Hyrule Field for the first time is easily one of my all-time fondest gaming memories ever - that kind of vast environment was something quite new back then, and truly mind-blowing.
theres a way to go faaster other than rolling follw these steps. * 1turn in the direction you wanna go 2 turn around 180 degrees 3 target 4 try walking backwards while holding target. this method is even faster than rolling and is not as annoying
Well I’m so excited I found a treasure again!! In the rock room against the far wall if you double hit the brown rocks with your mega hammer there is a trunk w 200 burpees!!!
Along Kingdom Hearts it is one of very few arpg games I play. My all time favorite games are Dragon Quest 1-4 NES, Final Fantasy 1-3 NES and 4-6 SNES and Phantasy Star 1-4. This however just has a special feel to it that even the hack n slash gameplay doesn't turn me away.
My brother had this game as a kid when it first came out. We're both twins and we got the N64 for Christmas when we were about 12 years old and that was probably one of the best times of my life; that and getting stationed in Tokyo for three years in the Marines. Anyway, I wasn't really into Zelda for some reason (I think because of the puzzle aspect of it), so I never played it. My brother did though and he beat it. I was usually playing Wave Race, Cruisin' USA, Mario 64, and of course Goldeneye. This is actually my first time playing this game and I'm 38 years old now. I'm enjoying every second of it. It's truly a work of artistry and workmanship. When I finally loaded the game into my N64 Aqua Green console and it started up with Link riding his horse and the wonderful music, I just left it on and stared at it because of the marvelous atmosphere that this game was putting out. It literally brought a smile to my face and I knew I was in for a magnificent experience. I'm about an hour and a half into it (just completed the task of finding the woman's chickens in Kakariko Village) and I took a break to write this comment because I wanted to tell anyone who's reading this my thoughts. I also have not played Majora's Mask, but I did buy it last week on eBay and it's definitely going in my N64 right after I beat Ocarina of Time. I have a Nintendo Switch too, and yes, I did play Breath of the Wild, which was stunning. Nevertheless, I'm going back to playing this game. Thank you for reading my comment. ✝️
This game I tell ya, no matter how old I get.. I still get that nostalgia feeling from that intro and the music. Although I'm very much aware of graphical limitations of the console, I can honestly say this was literally the best thing about my childhood. I have one of the ice blue consoles, with both original matching controllers, but also bought the retro fighters "brawler" 64 controllers in the same blue. Anyone who hasn't checked out the brawler controllers yet? Do yourself a favour and pick one up. They're much better than the originals! Much more modern and comfortable!
Ocarina of Time is a messed up world. The villagers have little to no freedom for travel. They can't visit Death Mountain, and they have to travel the long way to get to the Zoras and develop some swimming skills, because the Zoras' home is restricted to Royal Family members only. Meanwhile, Ganondorf takes over, and the villagers can travel freely all they want. Maybe life is better under Ganondorf after all. The desert is unavailable to outsiders, and the Kokiri Forest remains unprotected, a kidnapper's dream come true. I'm surprised the criminal gang of Geurdos don't target them (except Ganon when he killed the Deku tree).

I’m so fortunate this game came out during my childhood.
6:22:27 - Scariest boss in the game! 💀🎃👻
same goes for 6:28:48
Watching this brings back memories. The Legend of Zelda, OOT was one of my favorite games on the N64. 😊❤
Throughout the years this game became a truly Legend! An all-time Master Piece! I played it like one hundred times when I was young!
Beat this game last year, I think it's every bit as good as everyone said it was, and then some
A classic. Thanks for uploading this @LongplayArchive
The part at 32:31-32:44 hits hard;
the music at that part is absolutely fantastic, especially combined with Link entering Hyrule Field.
use the translator to make this comment. Thanks to you I was able to pass that game, I saw your complete video thanks to him I was able to pass this great game, I really appreciate it :)
The grappling hook never fails!
I am glad I grew up with this and not fortnite.
I play it on my phone on emulator
Right now I'm at the shadow temple
This and Majora's mask are my favorite Zelda games
Same, but instead of playing on emulator phone I played it on my pc and I finished it now I gotta replay it yet again because it’s an amazing game imo
An absolute masterpiece of game.. for me, the best game of All time.
Your videos are great for this quarantine 👌👌👌👌
Quarantine is over. Go outside.
Great video. My childhood wrapped up in about 9 hrs 😊
Love this game so much. Thank you for posting this.
I can't believe I am gonna watch this entire thing! SUCH A BANGER
You might rather watch the HD rerecording in the description! Slightly sharper
One of the best Games of all Time❤️
Best ever zelda game and best game on the n64
Agreed 👍
I finally completed the game, and O definately could not have done it without you!
Happy to hear tyvm and congrats
10 hours... It felt like I spent a lifetime playing this back in the day. It probably took me 50-60 hours in reality, which, at the time, was the most time i'd ever spent in a game.
Me too

Anyone who played this experienced a major part of history. I misspent my art college days sat at home, official game guide in-hand, playing through this. It’s up there with ‘A Link To The Past’. The game was so much work and took so much time, dedication and concentration that it was seriously one of the first things in life that taught me to persevere and focus. I ended up facing demons both in-game and personal. Not a second was wasted playing this. So exciting!
lol game guide
James Miller lol 😂
Loved playing this on my n64 back in 08, and especially loved playing goldeneye and mario party 2. So many amazing memories sitting in front of that CRT TV ♥️
Thank you for posting this...I will be watching not over to find things on mine...this was my favorite game of all times...I had it on n64 but I have it on Nintendo 3dsl xl...
Thank you, without the video i probably couldn't bring myself to beat that game.
Thanks for these. I’ve started drinking and smoking by myself watching these 👌
I’m not sure if I should heart react this but I’m happy these videos are helping you have a good time hahah
Don’t do too much mate!
I really loved this game
What I like about this walkthrough is your not constantly rolling. Like some people do
Rolling is proven to be slightly faster but I still wanted to avoid it for annoyance reasons yeah:)
theres a way to go faaster other than rolling follw these steps.
* 1turn in the direction you wanna go
2 turn around 180 degrees
3 target
4 try walking backwards while holding target.
this method is even faster than rolling and is not as annoying
I played that game day one as a kid too. I was 26.
This is the masterpieces of the masterpiece
The greatest game of all time.
i love this game but god the camera controls are so frustrating sometimes especially during fights
Well I’m so excited I found a treasure again!! In the rock room against the far wall if you double hit the brown rocks with your mega hammer there is a trunk w 200 burpees!!!
I just finished it
Beats breath of mids everyday of the week.
this was my first zelda that i played on my own without my brother and i beat it with in a weekend back when i first got it
Thanks to you I beat this game
Even though we got a remake for the 3DS, I would definitely love a Switch remaster of this game.
This is my favourite game in the world That was the 1st game I ever played in my life That's my childhood game
Love this game!!! My favourite game ever
Bravo! Perfect accompaniment to my drawing sesh this lovely Saturday. Thanks for upload!
Longplay of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 0:00 Marie Chaboyea & Marie Chaboyea & Marie Chaboyea-Kingbird
Fuck fuck
Best game ever...

When I was really young, I couldnt even get passed gohma xD
I was 7 when this came out and it was a present from my daddy on my 8th birthday 4 months later as part of a N64 bundle. also got the 2 castlevania games with it. spent many a late night playing this, despite never actually beating it. The forest, water and shadow temples were EXTREMELY confusing.
No wonder I was so optimistic for life look how beautiful that blue sky is :D
Nintendo needs to hurry up and make the 64 Mini
5:44:45 I love Water Temple music
But the water temple itself is annoying😡
Yes on both counts.
Guys the Temple of Time scene, I can definitely see this in Kingdom Hearts 4
With this game there's a short cut that goes from the Goron city to the Lost woods
Tengo el orgullo de decir que me acabe el juego ala primera ves que juego pero es uno de los mejores que e jugado
Gerudo valley theme is my fav jam
The best N64 game.
