"A thrilling mixture of psych, rock and jazz elements, with occasional classic influences, but clearly dominant psychedelic and rock elements. A fascinating album with exciting compositions that display high technical skills led by guitarist Joe Beck who went on to become a highly proficient musician who was the first guitarist Miles Davis took in his band...but, this, the album "Nature Boy" was his beginning, at age under 20, Joe Beck had a creative mind and turned-on ideas unleashed and accompanied by guitarist Danny Whitten (The Rockets & Crazy Horse), who died in 1972 of drug overdose ..."

Many of these albums could be lost without you posting them here. I really appreciate it and I know many others do as well. Thank you!!!
Many of these albums just simply would never be heard of if not for this channel! I thought I was well versed in 60’s & 70’s music, but I can’t even fathom how much awesome stuff I’ve found that I never knew of since being here and watching UA-cam. It’s endless what can be found
This is by far one of the absolute best music channels on UA-cam, thanks so much for sharing all this wonderful music!
Outstanding discovery, a trully psychadelic gem. How could we not know better Joe Beck? Thanks for sharing this, your youtube channel is a goldmine.
I'd never heard of Joe Beck before today. Even after 56 years, it still amazes me how much treasurable work by such extremely skilled artists goes undiscovered.
Surprised to just find this. Very hip sound
It's great! Thank's !!! From Russia with best regards!
You did it again best dream.....thanks, great psychodelic jazz, eclectic100%.
i love you ''thebestdream I had''
Your channel is exactly what UA-cam was supposed to be designed for. Entertainment and education for the masses instead of the brainwashing certain social individuals and organisations are trying to make it. Brilliant work as usual.
This underground 70's music what these channels upload is the main music I listen to these days.
Joe Beck blew me away with the Armenian/Middle Eastern fusion of oud playing from John Berberian with Joe's guitar playing on the album Middle Eastern Rock from 1969, also on Verve Forecast. Nature Boy is obviously much more western sounding but I really like what he does with psych and include jazz elements. And of course in 1970 he recorded a flamenco rock fusion album with Sabicas called Rock Encounter.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED ALBUM - EXCELLENT LOADS OF GUITAR - SUPERB VOCALS AND BASS - OBSCURE BUT GREAT!!!!!!!!
Dang. How many Becks are there in rock? And all of them are good. O_O
Back in 1968 I was 8 years old and didn`t care to much about music play by longhaired loonatics. All in all it took 52 years to discover this album. And it`s really worth to be discovered song by song!
Wow man. Bach in 68 I was ten and was tuned into everything. Hard not to be in those times. But I must admit, Joe Buck is a new one on me.
What a great version of this song! GANDALF - Nature boy
Sehr geil!
Nice I was expecting something more folky off the bast, that was a nice suprise
Another album and artist I'd never heard of better than the majority I'd heard of. Great album.
Fantastic but a bit too heavy for me. Still fantastic though!
Sensational !
The psych and jazz go together like peaches & cream
prog and jazz too: "Rock Workshop - The Very Last Time" 😉🥂🎄.
Once again my friend, you have come up with something that amazes me.

A primo release, and featuring the late/great Danny Whitten. Another underappreciated jewel!
Randy Brecker (Blood,Sweat and Tears) another great
Thank You very much.
Have idea about this group sincerily good
Very Fleetwood-Mackish - from the Bare Trees/Mystery to Me era, so now it may be clear where the inspiration might have come from...
"👍👍👍👍"-🤗..

Excellent! I'd never heard of him, until now. From one Beck to another, it's a great album...& he's not letting the side down. I shall have to search out a vinyl copy.
This is so amazing, you made my DAY! How this album wasn't on top of the world I am baffled! I love you!

This album sounds badly dated. I heard Joe Beck play in a local club in the early 90s. He was a great jazz guitarist. He recorded some excellent albums for the DMP label.
Thank you.
👊🏼❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Mr Beck has some hot licks and a proficiency on the guitar that was hard to come by at this time in the history of rock.
Great lp avoids the often twee folk John Sebastian type tracks
all star lineup. i heard of joe beck but never listened. will be searching out his jazz history. lots nof good info by mr dream above.
What is it about music that you don't think of it for decades and yet you recognize it instantly when you see it again.
Thank you for posting these albums.
Great 60's psychedelic sound that I love 💕. Thanx! U rock! 🥀✌️🔥

Wow...if you've ever listened to the original version of Nature Boy by Eden Ahbez, (which I love), a person could never imagine it being done in this psychedelic hard rock style. But this person did........Joe Beck. Amazing!
Great album. Thanx for keeping this music alive!
Sublime!!
very good music
Joe , Jeff's cousin
