Rest is totally fine imo.
For those wandering there is a third method anyone can do to get money. Got to a beach>press g to collect water>go afk>teleport to base>cook sea water on electric stove>get 100s of exp and salt>sell salt for profit. Maxed my weekly in a day, no need to waste a specialization on ingots and no need to farm!
FYI, to all the beginners under lvl 20... the silver & gold ingot crafting is a random specialist trait... not everyone will get this trait. May need to reroll a few times. For beginners around lvl 10... JUST SELL SALT & BASIC PICKAXE!!

easy method if you dont have the gold or whatever? just farm up some iron (takes maybe 20 mins to get like 10000 (fill up your car trunk). smelt it. sell it to the vendors for 15 links an ingot. profit.

I got skill to craft CPUs, which sell for 12k energy each. I am selling them at vendor machine per 6k, so buyer make the same "money" as selling silver ingots to NPC vendors at least, but with no effort. 50/50 is best I think.
A warning for anyone buying bars or other specialization items to sell to vendors. Depending on how high-priced the items are, you are essentially funneling the majority of your weekly cap to the people you purchase from. Do the math first and see if the profit margin is worth it.
What are you saying? You're literally making money with 0 effort, while the original seller also takes a cut. Everyone wins as long as u can sell with some profit - thats why I think a 80/20 or 70/30 is fair as all the mining and smelting work goes to the first seller. Ofc u can also waste time doing that yourself and spend spec points in getting the same end result. Anyhow everyone will reach their cap some way or another- why waste time with it
I am saying if you buy a chipset from a player vendor for 9k and go sell it for 12k, you made only 3k EL profit total and are out 12k of your weekly vendor cap. Simple as that. Definitely not saying this is bad information, but some people will fail to realize this.
This is only if you have the rng spec. Id recommend mining and selling copper. Use electric furnaces, you can smelt two stacks at once per furnace. Its grindy but what else can you do?

I got the perk and just bought silver ores from player's vending machines. Most in my server sells silver ores at 60-70. You need 30 ores per bar so if it's 70 that's 2100 lnks. Craft it and sell to merchants for 6k. That's 3900 profit and much faster.
Why did you not eat the seafood oil tin. You could of got 66% 666% or 6666% bonus on your last strike, lasts for 30 minutes aswell. Would of got far more gold and silver

no just your's wont even tell players on the map whats in your machine just if its food, matt's etc, you have to physically visit another players machine or they have to come to yours
Absolutely great spot for silver but gold not so much I just spent 3 hours and went from world 1 to 10 I found 1 gold node I did however get 1,200 ish silver ore I've already got 200k energy links
He is presenting his guides like a snake oil salesman. To even be able to do this you need to be endgame and have the technology to make silver/gold bars, you would also need a solar drill(buy from other players) and of course have the base setup up for this. To be honest, at this point you wont even need the energy links unless you want multiple builds. Another problem is that it's super time consuming, i did a similar strategy and i found at best, 1 silver per 10-15 minutes and without the solar drill with the silver/gold bonus you are loosing so much by mining it. At the same time you could use this time to simply mine everything, craft stuff, get exp and sell whatever you make for a similar profit but more experience at a low/mid level:) It's a good strategy but clearing a rosetta base or city gives vastly more "energy link" equivalent.
I dont have a solar drill and find Silver/Gold litterally every 30s-1min tops 😅 I have 500K after doing this for maybe 2-3hours in total including sell time
I am level 48 and i need at least 80k energy links just for the skill tree alone and I only have about 40k. Aside from the skill tree, energy links are used everywhere like crafting and upgrading so even 100k wouldn't be enough. sure the method used in the video is hard to do but it is definitely one of the most efficient ways to farm energy links. there are much easier ways to farm energy links but arent as efficient (selling metal/copper), (selling chipset).
There are some special tools you can unlock with the rng system that use gold and silver, but nothing too important. I'd say use 60 Gold nuggets (NOT BARS) on the Solar Drill and you're golden
@blackshadow-_-c9441 Basically it automaticly recharches durability as long as it is sunny. You can use certain materials to upgrade it's power when crafting it. You have to get lucky and unlock it in the special memetics that you can choose out of 4 every 5 levels.

'Giving'? They are basically making absurd amounts of money by reaching their weekly cap quick, without having to Specialize into these bars. Its less effort and still extremely profitable. We both get a share, so win-win
You can or you can't? This games doesnt let you explore, you have to finish the bosses/certain settlement quests first before being able to secure these in the next area. Basicly finish your shit in region one before you can unlock things in region two.
@@Levi3412 i did the main quest in the main land and did all the ancors did the 2 or 3 bosses and now i am on the side quest cuz the main ques it saying thet i do ancors in the Iron sand and i cant cuz it says they are lockt and i am now lvl 30

Make sure you get a Solar Drill crafted with Treasure hunter perk. 100 percent increase in all gold and silver .

Yep, phases depend on the server’s age. Then there’s a timer of (i don’t remember the exact number) of days before next phase.

Well who ever buys them is lazy they will make less over time and will reach their limit with less profit than if they were to do it themselves.
