    ups is a lifesaver when u have unstable electricity where if I turn on 2 AC and someone uses the washing machine the electricity just can't get enough power and the switch automatically shutdown the electricity so in my case having a ups is a must because of this situation

      Exactly. Plus our country's electric grid is soooo unreliable. Outages can come out of nowhere.

      100% agree, Maski medyo stable yung power sa lugar namin, I still UPS. You never know when magpower outage or magpower surge/fluctuations or mag trip yung breaker coz may gumamit ng heavy load na appliance/s. Specially now adays mostly SSD, medyo maselan sa power outage. Buy the biggest capacity UPS you can afford,, much better if it's output type is pure-sine wave.

      It's hard to use UPS because of maintenance and it costs. The following problem of using UPS 1) when should I replace the battery if its empty? 2) How do i know if the battery is empty? 3) You have to recharge ( there is already a problem when and how to recharge ) and replace ( what to replace the whole unit of UPS or the battery?) ..Using a UPS is complicated and it need attention for maintenance. While using an AVR ..no problem, no need for maintenance to recharge just plug it and play.. no headache .At totoo din talaga malakas kumain ng kuryente ang UPS. Gumamit na lang ng ibang device kagaya ng Surge Protector at AVR. May bago ngayon AVR na may Surge Protector. UPS is the worst device I'd ever owned.

      1.) It's in the manual
      2.) It's also in the manual
      3.) Generally you keep a UPS plugged in all the time, it cyclically charges and discharges (This is also in the manual). Not sure how much it'll add to an electric bill; but, if you're using a computer 8-12 hours a day it shouldn't add that much relative to your regular usage. And regarding battery replacement, and this is in the manual as well, they recommend switching it out every 2-3 years.
      True that an AVR is simpler to use, and if you don't really need the extra 2-3 mins that a UPS gives you to save your work when your power dies you most likely don't need one.

    I argue that activation key is nice to have. It's really unnecessary purchase. About that annoying message, you can weak some settings for it to not pop-up. There are lots of tutorials about it.
    Speakers are nice to have, but not required. Headphones are REQUIRED. Quite a few monitors don't have speakers, and when they do, they suck a ton.

  • @ryomario90
    @ryomario90 8 місяців тому +1

    AVR is extremely useful if the voltage you're getting from the wall undershoots or overshoots frequently, Your PSU only supplies power to your PC, what about your display? speakers? My display would " restart " multiple times a day and I could hear pops from my speakers, and sometimes from my headphones which is drawing power from my PC ( I have a PSU with all the existing protections listed on it ) yet I could still hear pops in my headphones sometimes. Having an AVR eliminates all of those issues. It's better to be safe than sorry and an AVR doesn't cost much. So I'd definitely recommend getting an AVR unless you're absolutely sure that you're getting the right amount of voltage from the wall (220-240 or 100-127).
    Oh boy I'm not even going to talk about the speakers... like what is wrong with you? Do you hate quality sounds or sounds in general? Audio is just as important as visuals... Your brother's plastic speakers have almost zero capabilities of reproducing natural sounds... or clear sounds at over 60% volume. An EQ'd Edifier R1280T should be the bare minimum.

  • @joemann7971
    @joemann7971 Рік тому +2

    I dont agree with the speakers. While some monitors do come with speaker, most monitors I've used don't have any speakers. They usually have a speaker output, not not speakers. I usually plug my speakers into the monitor just in case I want to plug in something else, like a gaming console, I don't have to figure out how to get sound out of the console.
    One thing about speakers is that, a nice set of speakers will last you a long time. I've had my Klipsch speakers for over 10 years and still going strong. What I do think is optional is a set of headphones, since headphones will wear out eventually, while speakers can pretty much be immortal (assuming you dont abuse them), and will last you many many PC builds. I've gone through 3 different builds and still use the same speakers, yet, I've replaced my monitor multiple times. lol

    as an experienced graphic artist, that "reflexive" Ctrl+S shouldn't be done. When using Photoshop or Illustrator just activate the auto-save function. If in case you are ctrl+s then a power interrruption occurs, your file will be corrupted.

    I think for AVRs its usually needed if you have a generic psu and a low end mobo(basic cheap mobo) because these don't have enough surge protections like the ones found in the branded ones and mid to higher end mobos and these are based on my xp.

    • @pkpnyt4711
      @pkpnyt4711 Рік тому +2

      Why buy a generic PSU then? Might as well spend the money you used for the AVR and generic PSU into buying a better PSU. There are better PSU's out there between 2.5k to 3k (600w-650w) only that will power your low to mid end builds for years and years (5-10 year warranty depending on brand) instead of the generic PSU with AVR setup

    • @jessierosenqueen5644
      @jessierosenqueen5644 Рік тому

      @@pkpnyt4711 Simple because not everyone can afford it. A generic psu can be had for less than 1k and is usually coupled with the generic case and this is generally enough for low end budget systems cuz i have one myself and it lasted for 5yrs+ and a generic AVR is dirt cheap and will only cost you around P250 hehe

      I recently bought a PC ryzen 5600 with rx 5700 xt with LUX 750w PSU. I have my old secure AVR here and a mitsushi t04 power surge protector.
      I was skeptical at using a secure avr now.
      Can I use my pc on a power surge protector without avr? Or should I keep using both?
      I can buy a good avr 2 months for now though.
      I was also thinking of buying a panther surge protector.
      Also my area is the black out capital of ph and a lot of fluctuations.

    Learned the hard way that I need an AVR. I noticed my mobo just dies within 6 months without using an AVR. But with an AVR, it lasts many years. I believe the electricity in our home is unstable. The ones I dont really need are RGB lights from fans or from a gaming mouse.

Dko alam kung bakit ayaw nya i recommend ang AVR yan ang pinagka malaking joke na napanood ko ngayon lol.. If you have large space and money buy UPS. Pero kung plano mo everyday papatayin mo yung UPS to save electricity wag ka na bumili kasi mabilis yun maka drain ng battery health. Kaya for protection buy AVR na orig.

    • @pkpnyt4711
      @pkpnyt4711 Рік тому

      Anything with RGB and a gamer tag mas sobrang mahal. Sa RAM lang, they add 1k for the non-RGB vs RGB version. Sa AIOs, you can get a cheap 240 RAD for more or less 2k only . So it's just a matter of buying the cheap one. You'll need it if you have a 13,700k or higher (7900X or 7950X) CPU compared to an air cooler (you'll need the big boy air coolers and they cost over 2.5k). Almost all AIOs are the saame naman, there's only about 3 OEMs that make them and yung brand name lang ang mahal. ID cooling and Deepcool have the best bang for your buck 240 AIOs.
