Pod Squad 2023 Flipper Friday Swim "pod"

Numbers allocated, Instructions given, Captains sorted, and teams p, o and d set in place.
The p's were prepared, present and perfectly positioned,
The o's were organized, out of the blocks and off to a great start,
The d's desperate to impress darted out and did what the o's had easily,
Arrghh!!
that's poo does not pod! Oh no! How could such great preparation lead to such dismal failure?
But then, not a capital D it was not meant to be, try lower case??
The p's were kicking and then the o's and finally a lower-case d
spelling "pod"
and with quick kick we were out of there.
