3x AMAZING! Old 1967 (rd Classic KONE early 1980s) T Elevs/Ls@AZIMUT Hotel***, Saint-Petersburg, RUS

There are 11 passenger elevators elevators inside the 3-star Azimut Hotel St Petersburg (former Sovetskaya hotel built in 1967) with about 1020 rooms. Out of the 11 elevators, 4 have been replaced by OTIS in 2008 and 2012 (18 floors), 2 have been replaced by KONE in 2003 (18 floors) and 5 elevators have been replaced by KONE in the early 1980s and haven't been modernized since then! (5-6 floors). The old classic elevators have been published on 8.August.

This is filming three of the 5 amazing old elevators replaced by KONE with classic fixtures in the early 1980s (still about a decade before the fall of the Soviet Union!). And this is an elevator trio with original obsolete KONE elevators, that is very rare!

Note: The 6th floor is locked-off. These three (out of five) elevators were replaced when this hotel was still known as the Sovetskaya Hotel and the city was called Leningrad, about a decade before the fall of the Soviet Union. This is really amazing, a great find, and everything is still completely original (only the cabs look refurbished) since the late 70s or early 80s (white buttons, lamp indicators, acoustic chimes, gray bumpers and awesome sounds from the machine room!). Totally recommended!
