For the amber/amy deck, not only use the Madam Mims to bounce the goat, might be a lil more costly, but can use the goat to really help Arthur Wizards Apprentice rack up fast free lore. Quest with arther (1 lore) bounce the goat back (2 lore from arthurs ability and 1 from the goat), then pay 4 to play the goat again (1 lore). Thats a 5 lore cycle each turn. But best if you have a Simba or 2 out
So i just started Lorcana and didn't even realize im basically building the yellow/purple aggro lol. Is this a definitive list or can i maje changes to what kinda suits me?
Not trying to steal views or anything but the player/youtuber Zefa has a great video of the flute version of steelsong and gameplay evidence of the flute(s) gaining 8-10 lore a game! This is still a great video with excellent commentary!
Either way. I just watching the channel to keep amber steel on top. Ruby sapphire is getting a struggle but the flute is in the deck. I think needs to be 2 of them n two lanterns. To stay aggro
you forgot to add the new card on steelsongs, that makes why it is an absolute top 1 for now, sleepy's flute. this card make their bad matchups (ruby/amethyst | ruby/sapphire) winnable, the big problem with steelsong was that the deck was stopped at 15/17 lore by these decks, and then totally controlled turn 7/8+, with sleepy's flute, you finish the lore by just playing your songs. it's also very good against mirrors
@WintersLorcana that's cause it's pretty new like few days ago, loosed against it (mirror matchup) dec 3rd at a 200player tournament (was at 4/1). one list with flutes won the pax unplugged 2023 over ruby/amethysts too. it's played over lanterns
I don’t get why I don’t understand how to breakdown tcg games like this when I’m building a deck, I feel like I’m picking what best for turn 1 2 3 and so on but my decks never look like these top decks. Do I just not get it or is there a fundamental im missing and not understanding?
Well, something that took me a hot minute to wrap my head around with this game is that you win by building yourself up, and not by tearing your opponent down. Usually there's some kind of life total to overcome, but in this game it's about building up your own score the fastest. You can certainly always slow your opponent down by trying to tear them down, but ultimately their deck will be built to build themselves up at some point, so you can't simply attrition them out of the game, they will eventually recover, given enough time. So there's a strange balance between building yourself up, keeping your opponent stalled and gaging when it's best to do which. Tearing an aggro deck apart early on is usually strong enough to stall them out of the game, and going under control decks before they can out value you is also strong, but they don't work against every deck type. So you'll win some, lose some. There doesn't appear to be any deck (yet) that has a true 80% win rate over 100 games
For someone like me that wants to collect all the enchanted. Is it a good time now to get deals on them with all the restocks/reprint or should I wait longer? Its hard to tell where the bottom is that these will hit🤷🏽♂️
Oh I'm really the last person to ask, I bought into the first set but that's it. It's actually impossible to find cards in my area, even after restocks. So I'm not paying attention to prices.
that's true, but I did say like 5 times that there were many, many variations of these decks, I was simply highlighting the best ones, and Flute only hit peoples radar in the last day or so.
Great explanation! I watch your videos all the time!

Arthur recycling lefou is the best play for 4 lore and keeps them both unexerted for 2 ink

I'll be sure to check it out, thank you
@@WintersLorcana Currently it's also used alot during the lorcana tournament hosted by "theabeasty" where Zefy also participates. cheers.
sleepys flute is a big reason the steelsong deck is very strong
Another flute comment. I've never played it, and it's never been played against me. I play everyday and it's never shown up once

Which deck is the biggest weakness for Ruby-Amethyst Bounce Control?
Good question. Let me know when you find an answer, I need to know too
ruby/amethyst bounce has a bad matchup against Amethyst/Amber hyper aggro, faster than them to win before they can control
@@raitozan50/50 tbh
I’ll say this is the closest to rock paper scissors we’ve been in Lorcana
SteelSong with Sleepy's flute. Probably close to 70% win rate for Amber Steel.
New to Lorcana, how viable are decks not on the list. I've picked up the two floodborn decks and upgrades to have 4x, etc
I make new decks everyday, and I win games everyday. They may not be the best, but some skill and luck can win you a ton of games

That's interesting, I've never used the flute or played against it

Yeah it's wild I haven't beat my friend one game since he added the flute. I'm like 0-20 against him.
@@pannkeki8940 God I love this game! It looks like such an awful card! I'm SO excited to build that version!
@@WintersLorcana you REALLY gotta play it it’s busted. 20 songs in your deck and a bunch of singers? Sleepys flute wins games.
Every single amber/amethyst deck ive played against runs magic spell book
It's a worthy inclusion for sure, and many variants run it, I highly recommend it especially if the meta is favoring a ton of control in the moment

How do you play online?
Does anyone play sorcerers spellbook in their purple/red deck?
Lots of people. These lists are more meant to highlight the core of the dominate decks
