Considering this is likely the last confessional of Colby on Survivor that we will ever see, it just makes it all the more moving to me. It's us saying goodbye to a legend.
Watching Colby as a kid in season 2. Never struck me watching this scene ten years after that this was his swan song. Now it's 2018 and looking back on this I get goosebumps. I hope Survivor fans realise how big the show and Colby was back then. Survivor is still great, but it's unfortunately never going be at that level again.
im hopig for Season 40 they do a H v V 2.0 and offer everyone from this season a chance and then you fill out with all stars like Malcolm, Andrea, Cochran, etc. Fuck it id like to see Phillip Mr Stealths R Us himself
I do remember watching this when it aired...he stopped talking and I looked down at my phone. I could hear the music so I figured they were just showing the wildlife like they do...then he started talking again it kind of jolted me. Cool moment.
Colby is one of the nicest people you can ever meet, a classic old school sportsman! He gave away 1 million, because of fairplay and what he felt was right. He knew he was 0-3 votes down immediately when he picked Tina over Keith in Australia, because it was clear that Keith, Elisabeth and Jerri were going to vote for Tina. He had to rely on getting the votes of each one of Rodger, Nick, Amber and Alicia and that was a long shot. Had he chosen Keith, it would have been 6-1 in my opinion (probably Tina voting for Keith after being removed by Colby in that scenario).
Interesting strategy. Say that you give up and then try to get the last word in to Russell. Not sure if that had a chance of working, but I do admire the no actual surrender thing when you are close to the end.
Nah I don't think so. He was terrible on HvV. Even the heroes said that he did nothing (i.e. J.T., Amanda) he was just there and didn't strategize etc.
He had allied himself with Tom & he was out of moves by then and had to play passive, Tom is one of smartest players, J.T was as dumb as a door knob and gave his idol to Russell, Tom wouldn't of allowed that, Heroes had no leadership by that point, they should of had an alliance of Tom, Colby, Amanda, Rupert & James, candice should of been first out

That dramatic pause felt really awkward momentarily, but it ended off feeling quite epic.

You will win someday. You are a hero to most of the Survivor fans. Please play again!

if colby won the challenge, he would have won the game

If any hero makes it to the end, they definitely win
Colby one of the nicest guys. Around
Heroes vs Villains is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Confessionals like this, which almost feel scripted are so cool for the story arcs of these players.
Love colby! No one can compare to him. I don't know if he'll ever play again either. But I wish he would.
Colby :( I never liked him in Australia, but I seriously loved him this season.
If this happened modern era Colby would’ve been like the fourth person this episode to start crying
1:30 so when the time was right, I ate them.
That’s the best verb you could have put there
COLBY DONALDSON
“I don’t know how to quit”
Was ready to leave pre merge before James got voted out. Try again Colby lol
I wanna see survivor: Colby vs James
That would be legit......sorta
**eagle screech**
loool i wish he would be ina nother survivour ... i really wanted him to this one
I reckon Colby could if got Jerri & maybe parvati to flip
Nah they were done with him. He would've swept the jury vote against any of them and they couldn't risk him winning immunity.
@@coylio33ify he was so bad at challenges this season lol
his face at the end! LOL
