Yeah, I'm not a former officer or anything but just from watching a lot of interrogations and interviews that police conduct it seems like a very common and usually effective tactic. @1:07:29 The reason judges are given discretion to sentence outside of sentencing guidelines is because there are cases that just don’t fit perfectly within sentencing guidelines. It’s a move away from mandatory minimums which handcuffed the judge when sentencing people and resulted in the massive overcrowding of our prisons. There are some cases that just absolutely fugged people in the ace who didn’t deserve it, and it was clear that they didn’t deserve it, but due to mandatory minimums they just got completely railed by the system. I’m not saying that this POS didn’t deserve it, Just saying that is why they have moved away from a lot of mandatory minimums and gave discretion back to judges in certain instances.

Reform instead of defund. All the systems need to be reformed completely from the bosses to the janitors. Defunding them would just lead to less qualified and more corrupt bcuz it would lower all the minimum requirements. Reforming them, if done correctly, would shift out all the bad and good and potentially bring the corrupt ones to justice, especially with the help of the good ones once they are not mixed in and influenced by the corrupt ones.
Charlie is just flat out wrong about bunkers. It’s weird for him to think that something can’t just go wrong at any time. From natural disasters, to war, to grid/Power-plant meltdowns so much can happen. That doesn’t mean live in fear but there’s nothing wrong with being ready. I’m sure a lot of the citizens of Ukraine and Israel also thought the same as Charlie, but I know the ones with bunkers were glad they had them.
most people commenting here do not live in the ukraine and israel where the threat of war is always high as hell & it'd make sense to have a bunker. Most of us live in the US, name one country on this planet that would attempt to invade the mainland US? The US is literally the #1 most difficult country to invade, the sheer amount of ocean between anyone who would actually want to do so would make their boat landings impossible, we have the largest navy in the world, domestic missile defense, the highest military budget in the world BY FAR, arguably one of the best trained military in the world, arguably the most modern military tech in the world in 99% of cases. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of active military bases we have located in most of the world. Ain't nobody ever going to try to invade the US, unless a nuclear war kicks off.. and if that happens, do you really want to live in a post global nuclear war world? i'd wager most people would prefer to just die to the nukes. and how is a bunker going to help you in a natural disaster? aside from maybe a tornado shelter, and that isn't a bunker lol. & power plant/grid issues..?? unless every single nuclear power plant in the US did a Chernobyl a bunker isn't gonna help you with that at all. There is a reason there aren't many bunkers in the US at all; we just simply don't really need them. "being ready" for catastrophic events in the US usually involves just having a stockpile of nonperishable food, water, and firearms and ammo.

The reason judges are given discretion to sentence outside of sentencing guidelines is because there are cases that just don’t fit perfectly within sentencing guidelines.
I barely even got through 15 minutes of this video and already I'm flabbergasted 😂 i can tell this is going to be a good video! 👍🏿
To answers any questions about depraved heart murder deprived heat is not direct muder but an action that leads to someone’s death such as leaving someone in a dangerous situation or leaving out something that can easily lead to the death of someone
You can feel when someone displays true emotion and when someone doesn't. His fake crying didn't move me a bit and at that point I hadn't made up my mind either, but that made me sure that he was at least negligent about human life cause he didn't actually care that he died.
That dude watched preppers _waaay_ too much as a kid.
This happened in my area… absolutely tragic and heartbreaking ordeal. Insane that this dude only did three years. The judicial system failed that poor kid and his family.
Kinda ironic a dude living in a place called bethesda was worried about nuclear fallout
Bethesda the company is based out of Bethesda, Maryland. Not a coincidence.
@johnr374 pretty decent coincidence tho still tbh it's a coincidence that the company made the series fallout
that's not what irony means, man
@@demianortega1398 it is quite literally ironic
@@skullswor nope
Durian smells awful. Can confirm. Jackfruit also smells pretty bad
Just straight dirty ass mixed with gasoline
I am probably commenting on this after the live stream, so I’m not sure if Charlie will see this, but yes, Durian is one of the foulest smelling fruits in the world. To the extent that countries like Thailand, have actual laws saying that you cannot bring durian fruit into areas of public transportation like buses.
How would kafra have gotten out if the hole in the backyard wasn’t properly dug he was doomed when he couldn’t get help
Imagine being such a doomsday prepper.. But not preparing for a fire..
i feel like the fact that there was no evidnece of him intentionally killing the guy is what made the sentencing go down.
Idk Charles if I had millions I’d build a nuclear bunker just in case
Not going to lie, if I was rich I would also build a bunker but it would also just kind of be a super cool basement setup XD. If going to build something like that you may as well make it multipurpose and everyday functional. Just make an extra deep basement thats a bunker then build a house on top.
This guys tears are dryer than a fresh towel
Building a bunker sounds fun if its just for fun
Its like a super man cave thing then
14:50 170 IQ plan right there
That's some H.H. Holmes type of murder there.
"Struggling in your college? Feel that you're too smart to study? Drop out of college, give me all your money instead, and I'll tell you the 'secret' to earning without learning!"

it really is just insane paranoia and mental issues from childhood
he'd been sheltered for so long he did not know how to act and wasn't obviously raised properly
and after all the toll the paranoia escalated so badly it lead to that
people should seriously be investigated atleast annually like literally everyone
Yes, exactly. People want to act like it's some grand conspiracy with him being some serial killer, when in reality it's exactly this simple unfortunately.
@@GavinŚ363perfectly said. Dude was very far removed from reality, but definitely not a sociopath. Just seriously ignorant.
Why all the weird tunnel-builders live in DelMarVa? What's in the Chesapeake watershed that's turning people into mole-men?
I grew up in Annapolis and I have no clue
What if you just like diggin tunnels, Charlie??
Oki looked like a mix of the two people involved in the story..
Bro 😂
Wild! Rest in Peace Askia.
Moist "Do you go out in bulletproof vest everyday?"
Me "If i lived in Chicago i would"
Moist 2 seconds later "Depends on where you live; Well i guess if your in Chicago maybe"
Great minds like a think
38:45 cuts to a north Korean missile being intercepted on the news
40:43 sheldon??
The fact that hes out of jail and got less than the minimum is gross. This sadly is one of those cases that just slip through the cracks. I hope they can gather new evidence in the tunnels so they can put him on trial again. Like someones gotta go see that weird tunnel chamber filled with explosives
You really think the detectives missed that?
Had to pause at 52:24 to say this as a firefighter. If I saw ANY flammable liquids or flammable solids. It would be noticed by us. And we would tell higher up about it. Because that’s a major red flag to us. But I will watch the rest. But I already know that out come by that information
Judges can do whatever they want. They can literally drop all the charges if they so choose to.
Its called downward departure, allowing judges the final say with sentencing including below or above (upward departure) sentence requirements. It exists in all states because the constitutions of all states seperate powers between the 3 branches meaning the legislature cannot use a law to strip the judiciary of its sentencing power.
I had a high school reading level by my 3rd grade in elementary school, being a good reader doesn’t mean you’re genius level as far as I know. 7:38
the moron overestimates how smart he was good at reading... so weirddddd
it’s connected to learning quicker, so in the end it COULD make someone a genius but it’s not 1 to 1
OKI does some amazing videos! ❤
This is actually fucking heartbreaking I can't finish this. Hope this guy rots in jail
At first I thought moist was doing a collab w Louis Rossman and I was super confused
The worst part of this all is that beckwitt was actually released from prison early in 2022, only serving four years
Nah nah when they said a tv reporter lived next to this guy all doubts about his intentions crumbled, I could believe this guy didn't want to and was just so mentally ill that his delusions indirectly killed someone but it sounds like this man wanted to be remembered as the killer bunker freak
Judges have the power to chose a lot about the sentence
Just alligator tears throughout from him
Durian, is banned from opening in some countries in the open, it smells like rotten death to many, but taste like banana pudding lol.
What did he expected, digging a tunnel in a Bethesda home? Shit is bugged as hell
Asmogold or whatever he's called seems to be exactly like Daniel
And his fans are all over his dick like is the second coming
Gone way too soon. RIP Askia.
If this was a murder, killing someone via electrical fire is the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard. The man was in an underground tunnel nobody knew of. The methods aren't exactly limited here.
You're wrong Charlie, building bunkers is cool
He wasnt building a bunker for nuclear war or an apocalyptic event......it was a place to hide, keep and torture his victims!! Come on, hes a budding serial killer for crying out loud!! Kafras untimely death has no doubt saved countless victims a fate they wouldnt have deserved!! Ya know im right on this one.
I used to work at hendrick house, the place where they said the guy downloaded keyloggers. There was actually an explosion in the hendrick house kitchen a year or two ago due to i think a gas leak, small world i guess.

When I was a kid I poked a crow nest with a broom and an egg fell down on concrete and busted open, I remember from that day on I would never harm animals like that again.
This bastard: "Bawling" his eyes out in front of the house, "Gotta pull myself!"
Also him 2 seconds later (with utmost non-challance): "Umm, there was a camera here..."
as soon as i heard the bunker was powered by daisy chained ext cords i do believe fully it was an electrical fire but i dont believe that daniel or whatever this guys name is tried to rescue Aeskia bc he is def not a genuinely bereaved person with his weird mood shifts... purposeful negligence and electrical ignorance but if those cables were not the correct gauges to handle the electrical output of the source on top of being daisy chained a fire def couldve broken our esp in a hoarder situation...
12:00 This is why we need tighter animal rights and protections laws, it benefits everyone
Daniel was around ppl I knew online but I had never met him only heard stories.

Not really relevant, but I feel the need to say it, YES, the durian, when you open it, has the most pungent foul odor a fruit can have.
This man got 9 years for murder.... I got 3 years probation for a 20 Sack of weed.

It's called sentencing guidelines
So sad😢
The acting in the interrogation straight up pissed me off. The fathers a better man than me

How the hell did Dick Rocket not name his space agency after himself... Such a missed opportunity.
Didn’t SouthPark have Tweek act all crazy over NK? But Tweek had good reason😂
Hard to tell, but I think it probably was an accident. He might be crazy, but he seemed very attached to the home, and we also know how attached hoarders are to their hoards, so I don't think he'd have burnt the place down intentionally. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if the electrical down there was jerry rigged and daisy chained all over. Accident just waiting to happen. The guy definitely should have gotten a lot longer sentence though. Judges are crazy.
You make great content
Mandetory minimum sentancing is only for real crimes. Like smoking pot.
Defund Judges and DAs
Defunding them would do worse for us...
@@hunterhowe3205 no it wouldn't. It would make them price that they deserve the funds at all
Reform instead of defund.
As i tell myself, he sounds like a reporter..... he's a reporter. i guess some people just naturally speak like that, or you don't lose the cadence.

I’m sure a lot of the citizens of Ukraine and Israel also thought the same as Charlie, but I know the ones with bunkers were glad they had them.
bro took it to heart😂😂 bro who gives a flying fuck😭
most people commenting here do not live in the ukraine and israel where the threat of war is always high as hell & it'd make sense to have a bunker.
Bro, this dude lives on fucking Bethesda, MD. That's like 15 minutes from the White House. If there was nuclear war he need a professional built bunker not some dude with a poop bucket.
"Maybe I shouldn't wear a bulletproof vest any time i'm out in public" and how'd that work out for Tupac?
