I knew Gkids would do this kind of trailer at some point. Doing a tribute of all of Hayao Miyazaki films (except the castle of cagliostro), before showing his latest masterpiece. They don’t call him the Never-Ending Man for nothing.
The exclusion of calgiostro is truly criminal
I'm curious, why does GKids instead of Disney have the rights to the Studio Ghibli films?
Can you name all the movies?

This hits me right in the feels. Especially when it shows all the hugs from the different films, with Hisaishi's beautiful music in the background. This really does feel like the bittersweet end of an amazing era.
they already confirmed Miyazaki is working on another movie
@@Echoplex25 yup just read about that yesterday. "The Never-Ending Man" indeed.

He will worked himself to dead, on the drawing desk Σ(°Д°;
I truly think he will continue working until his time on this planet ends. You can tell he deeply loves his work. And once his body passes, his art will remain a testament to his passion.
Miyazaki… is truly a genius of a director, seeing this just makes me want to cry… every one of these films mean so much to me, and they truly have changed my life. I can’t wait now to watch The Boy And The Heron, the film said to be his last, and the ending of his magnificent, and magical legacy.
BAH was a total masterpiece and an experience at the theater for me
great username, btw
Thank you GKIDS for putting so much love and care into Ghibli Fest this year, and getting us all hyped up for this masterpiece! You guys are the GOAT❤
I was already tearing up from the previous trailers. Now I'm straight up bawling. His movies are my childhood.
I just watched this movie tonight. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful, astounding, and soul-changing this movie is. Miyazaki is at the top of his game, and having lost someone recently myself, I found myself bawling in the theater.
lucky, i wish they will stream it soon online, i don't think it will be any soon at my country's theater

I'm crying BIG Ghibli-style tears right now. Beautiful trailer. I can't wait to see The Boy and the Heron again, it was magnificent!
I’m just in tears not only witnessing most of the scenes of Miyazaki’s previous films but also for Hisaishi’s musical score of Ask me Why from _The Boy and the Heron_ playing in the background.🥲
So excited to see this film.
Hope he doesn't retire after this. The world needs more Ghibli, more Miyazaki
Agreed.
Apparently he's already working on his next movie.

Saw the movie, I WAS FIGHTING TO CRY, it was so beautiful and the meaning behind this movie was such a great reflection. Wonderful tale, I loved it.
This final teaser contains previous Hayao Myazaki films:
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (1984)
Castle in the Sky (1986)
My Neighbor Totoro (1988)
Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)
Porco Rosso (1992)
Princess Mononoke (1997)
Spirited Away (2001)
Howl's Moving Castle (2004)
Ponyo (2008)
The Wind Rises (2013)
Man the movies we’ve gotten I just found out Kiki delivery service was in 1989 and I discover a certain actress who did the voice of Kiki
Also just found out thanks to your comment spirited away that was me in 2001 didn’t realize that when I first saw it on toonami
I am so happy that Hayao Miyazaki returned for another movie. His movies are always masterpieces.
Saw it twice already and it's GORGEOUS!
ooooooo!!!!! I already hope I can see it more than once on the big screen!!!!
Thank you so much, Ghibli. You deserved all the praise in the world.
This is making me cry!!! All the praise about him they show is so true and more!!!! He truly IS the greatest animator alive!!!!!
Yeah me too, im cryingg😢
Nah in terms of pure talent that would be Glen Keane or Eric Goldberg
Saratashi Kon would have break that record but unfortunate what happen
I’m SOOOO glad that this won that Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film!! 😊😊😊😊😊 This masterpiece totally deserves it!!!!
having seen all these movies, I can't help but tear up when they hit you with the montage of all the hugs. What a legend.
thank you hayao Miyazaki for everything, I know you don’t have much time left here on earth but this is the greatest tribute ever.
is he dying?
@@OscarMPG1 kind of he’s 82 years old he doesn’t have that much longer too live.
@@christinethilmany9606 many Japanese push it beyond 100, who knows miyazaki san may last another 2 decades
And the Oscar goes to The Boy and The Heron!!!
Haven't seen it but it's well deserved. Beyond the Spider-Verse will win all the Oscars when that comes out. Pleased with the outcome.
The soundtrack again is just great
Oh it’s remarkable that I would say. Thanks to Joe Hisaishi. Better than Beethoven and Mozart.
Beautiful. Wish I got to see this instead of the European trailer before seeing the film. It truly is the most intimate and emotional Miyazaki film, and the animation is quite literally the best, most expressive and beautiful I've ever seen in any animated movie, let alone ghibli. The score is also great, but as with everything about this movie, it's better on the second watch. I don't suggest making up your mind about it immediately; go watch it another time or think about it, you may be surprised.
What a heartwarming trailer! Every film of Miyazaki is a masterpiece and I know this one will be also.
We all grew up watching and being amazed with every one of his films starting with Nausicaa and I know this one might be his last but I hope not.
I have my tickets for Dec. 8th, can't wait!
This is my favorite video on UA-cam now, alll my memories of studio ghibli in one minute video
I was crying and I’m gonna cry even more when I watch the movie
I was already choked up from opening the teaser on one of my absolute favourite shots from Laputa, my favourite movie of all time, but the breaking point was "Once you've met someone, you never *really* forget them."
What fantastic works of art. I'm so... SO excited for this movie. It looks like it's going to surpass Spirited Away in terms of sheer unbridled creativity and fantastic, surreal visuals.
Love Miyazaki forever!
Hisaishi's score is going to make me and all of us cry isn't iT!!!!
I thought studio Ghibli was done making movies I’m glad I was wrong
Watch me sob on opening day
The animation of Gkids always leaves me in awe at the end of each movie. As a little kid I watched Ponyo but didn't know it was anime. Now as an adult about to be 20 in may I still love their art style and will not stop. When I have kids this is gonna be what they watch at a young age 😌
I really liked that film (I watched it with my father)
I’m glad you did. It did won a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. And would you agree that this totally MUST WIN that Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film???
Watched the early screening in IMAX
Beautiful film, very nuanced and abstract which I didn't expect for a Ghibli film.
Now that this has won that Golden Globe Award, this totally MUST WIN that Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film this mid March!!!! Would you fans agree?!?!?!
It makes me cry the fact that this might be his last movie. I will miss him. He created such beautiful movies.
Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
Spirited Away
My Neighbour Totoro
Ponyo
And now The Boy & The Heron.
I love Studio Ghibli
As someone whose last name is Heron, I feel obligated to watch this.
The iconic Ghibli hug😢
Awesome The Boy and the Heron The Final Teaser.
Congrats to the boy and the heron for defeating across the spiderverse at the golden globes last night :)
awesome🎉
And also again at the Oscars this past Sunday.
Finally saw this movie in cinema today. What a beautiful movie!! Miyazaki is truly a legend. Love from India.
Miyazaki is one of those directors that knows how to bring you into his world with his animation and storytelling. I’m so lucky to have been a fan of his work since I was 10. I’m eager to see his new film.
Studio Ghibli is one of the reasons why I got into animation.
It's lucky to live in a generation with Miyazaki san's animations! 💛
For sure, this movie is gonna make me cry. As always, most of Studio Ghibli movies made me feel fully invested and emotional as I watched and wandered its artist's work, most especially if it's either directed by Hayao Miyazaki or Isao Takahata.
Hayao Miyazaki films are amazing and beautifully crafted. Masterpieces!
The boy and the heron!! I’ve been waiting a lot of Studio ghibli movies and looks it’s making a comeback!!
It just made my heart and eyes swelled up with tears...so much emotion and so much life...the creation that he left behind is eternal
.every story and every character...Just becomes a part of you❤
I'm not crying, you are crying
Thank you Miyazaki sensi for all these unforgettable great memories.
I thought The Wind Rises was truly his final film, but what a great surprise to hear he just released another one! Does this mean he's coming out of his retirement again to make more movies? Whether this now is his final film or not, I am glad to see he has produced a new movie! And beautiful tribute! ♥️
Congratulations on the Oscar win
So beautiful just breath taking
Bro the fact that I cried watching this
Thankyou Hayao Miyazaki ❤❤❤ Isao Takahata 😢❤❤ studio Ghibli 💖💖 you made my childhood great ❤❤
I’m crying these films are some of the best movies I’ve ever seen and played a big role in my childhood I never thought that I’d be able to watch one like this for the first time I went to the g fest releases and it was amazing but man I’m ready for this one
Beautiful
Can't wait to see the movie!
Simply amazing. Watched it last friday and I'm totally going to watch it more times once it comes on Blu-ray and streaming.
Worth watching in Japanese with subtitles in my opinion.
Seeing this Friday and looking forward to it!
knowing what it means by "it will only last one more day" hits hard
❤❤❤ thank you for this
The saddest thing in the world is having a world without Miyazaki .... - he dreams with eyes wide open. Modern fairytales the likes not even Disney can't even imagine :)
got to watch this early access and it was REALLY good! something that really tickled my ghibli whimsy mind but also something that made me think a lot after the credits rolled. i wouldn't understand it 10 years ago, but i'm glad i understand now. also cried 10/10 would watch again
really beautiful❤👏
So beautiful 😢
I may not have seen all of his movies, but I have seen his more notable ones and they are all truly something. The Boy and the Heron is the first of his movies and Studio Ghibli that I intend to see on the big screen and I am looking forward to it.
Get out of the common sense, values, and slaves that dominate the world, and live with your own ideas and value standards. Make it yourself. As a Japanese, I received such a message.
So cool😊
宮崎駿への深い愛が伝わってくる
これが本当に最後の作品だって覚悟してることも分かる最高のトレーラー
I really want to see this movie so darn Badly!
Thank you GKIDS for doing the right thing with the trailer 😀
Idk why this puts a huge smile on my face ❤
Oh yeah!! This totally MUST WIN both that Golden Globe Award and Oscar award for Best Animated Feature Film!! For the greatest of all time!! Would you Studio Ghibli fans agree???
Woooah, I would have to see it first lol. Across the Spider-Verse is the best animated film this year, but I really hope Boy and the Heron steals that spot.
@@mackielunkey2205 That’s what I hope on.
Not those stupid spider monkeys from their spider verse. Last year, Guillermo Del Toro’s version of Pinocchio took them both by storm. TRUE STORY. And there are these other animated movies that I hope that they might make it in. Suzume, Lonely Castle In The Mirror, The Super Mario Bros Movie, and TMNT: Mutant Madness.

THANK YOU. I was greatly annoyed at whoever stated the Disney dubs were "mixed bags." Um, no, they aren't to me.
Nostalgia 🥲
Magnificent 😀😊.
I had to say to me, I love the beginning of that video where we saw all the ghibli movies we seen back in the days and I even was able to see Kiki’s delivery service just a few days ago

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!
Haven't even watched it yet but this movie has my heart
I hope I get to see the English dub. Last time I went to see a Japanese Dub by mistake.
I don't see the problem with that unless it wasn't subbed?
first 2 second and I want to cry 🙂👍🏻 ohhh believe me how fast I'lll book that damn ticket to the movies
I understand that this is the way him telling goodbye to his magic world but I also was trying to find meaning behind every scene, only after not finding anything I realised that some things just don’t have any meaning in life. They just happen
Thanks. Always a fan Japanese Anime of real plot
December 26th for the UK
Princess monoke was Mt first one ever since I see them all it great films
THAT’S WHY MIYAZAKI’S THE GOAT🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️‼️ THE GOOOOATTTT ‼️‼️‼️‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥😮💨😮💨😮💨
I get there are people who legitimately detest the Ghibli dubs of these movies. But I have never been one of them. As far as I am concerned, each and every one of them has been terrific. None of them are bad in any way. And this is from someone who HAS seen some of these movies in Japanese. I saw LAPUTA, HOWL, NAUSICAA, and PORCO ROSSO subtitled once. And you'd probably think, "Wow, these are SO much better than the dubs." Um, no, sorry. As far as I'm concerned, the dubs are all great and can stand on their own. And Miyazaki wants viewers to watch his movies in their own language, not read subtitles. He isn't upset with the dubs in the slightest. If he's not upset, I'm not upset. Now if you feel otherwise, fine, but I'll take this opinion to my grave whether you think I'm a "true fan" or not. If there is such a word. It isn't just me either; there are others who are totally fine with watching these movies in English. Both Disney and GKIDS did first rate jobs on them. There's a reason why Ghibli approves of these versions. They're all high quality.
i just saw the movie today and i came out of the theater feeling like i was in my teens. What an awesome treat.
I was surprised to see Christian Bale on the end credits and some familiar names but i couldn't discern their voices because either the volume in the cinema was not loud enough or just my ears. And am so glad to see Bale and Hamill bringing characters to life with their voices again.
My wish is that we get to see another masterpiece from one of the greatest film maker Hayao Miyazaki. Wishing him great health in body spirit and soul so that he can still bring more of his magic to generations of audience young and old.
I AM GOING TO FREAKING LOSE MY MARBLES WHEN THIS MOVIE COMES OUT- I WILL DIE DEAD 😆
My girlfriend went crazy over this when it released here in Japan early this year. I just teased her because I thought Miyazaki was retired again 😂 but maybe I will finally check this out.
This looks like something I wanna see, I have a great piece of my own, larger and vaster than this, but this looks beautiful. And it looks like it’s a great story, a story of old, the stories I like, the good ones, must’ve I’ll go by and see it.
Debating if I should watch this a 3rd time in theaters 🥲
Without saying much, there’s a reason why Miyazaki’s past works are shown in this trailer and it’s hilarious to see people get so mad or irritated about it haha
It's coming to Philippine cinemas in January 2024.
ahh gosh! who started cutting the onions!
Una pregunta ¿Cuando se estrena en colombia? Me encantaria verla en cines.
