As an owner/operator of 2 low dome trio nroads becons I have to say I've never had such a versatile becon thats stupid level bright and can be configured how ever you can dream up hands down the nicest becons I've ever had I strongly reccamend these to anyone with a service truck or anything that needs a becon the scene lighting ability is incredibly useful well worth every penny for these bad boys
Wow, this would be badass on a motorcycle pole. With steady burn white, it could be a motorcycle scene light! Also very nice to have 2 of them on either side of a tow truck's headache mount. I wonder if you can do amber flashing to the front of the vehicle while simultaneously doing steady burn white to the rear.
I miss the old style rotary beacons that had the sealed beam par style bulbs and rotary movement, these LED versions don't give that 'direct beam flash in your eye' effect, to me LED is more of a blink, blink, blink effect...
can i get some clarification on the dual color 12 led modules vs the single color 12 led modules? the tech specs say that the dual color 12 led has 1 amp draw. single color 12 led had 2 amp draw. does that mean that if I got the dual color 12 led version, only 6 leds would fire per color. (I am looking to have amber for warning and white for auxiliary scene lighting.) if that's true then I assume the single color 12 led would fire 12 leds all the time, which would make the single color 12 led version brighter for warning, and I should get separate scene lighting. Am I correct in my thinking here?
The 12 Diode single color Modules when flashing draws 2 Amps as all 12 Diodes in each Module are firing. The 12 Diode Dual Color is actually 6 and 6 for each Color. Withy the Diode count lower, the drawn lowers to 1 amp when only one Color flashes. If you set it to where both Colors where hitting at or very near the same time, you'd see the draw reach nearly 2 amps.
From Soundoff, we would say the Dual Stack NRoad's Beacon would offer the brightest output. From Whelen, the R316 Rota-Beam or L31 would offer the highest output.
+SIRENNET let me rephrase that. Between the Whelen and the Soundoff beacon, which of the rotating patterns that are offered actually come across as a "rotating beacon"?
We grabbed Chris and in his opinion, the Rota series Beacon's from Whelen mimic the traditional halogen rotators in the best cross over. They are engineering specifically to offer an LED equal to a rotating module's effect.
The nRoad Beacon's can be done in custom color configurations- so really any color spec's. Should the need arise for Blue's, Red's and even Green's, they can be configured in single, dual and tri-color combinations and then programmed as needed to get the most out of the Beacon and it's available functions.

@@SIRENNET just want to make sure I understand your comment, if I order this in Tri color cig plug with the 4 button controller, I will be able make 1 of the 4 modes both levels upper and lower white steady burn at the same time?

Why do they always have to do a long description, then show a short portion of the unit? Takes the joy out of watching the videos. More talk and less product performance

We didn't think about using it on a Motorcycle. It would be great to use after thinking about it. For Tow Trucks, it can offer so many useful options.
we're considering using this alongside an FS navigator for our upcoming rollback.
Whelen better watch out. Sound off is coming for ya with this beacon and mi state police. They refuse to give up the beacon.
That thing is bright!!!

Doug Paquette Whelen still makes them. And they make a rota beam series that is LED but only sweeps heavily focused diodes.
sweet lights
Thank You. We really like it.
Americans love their lights
19 likes and no dislikes? They're doing something right
Great Video guys, well done!
Thank You. We're glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, that's one expensive beacon. Definitely a cool light though.
not really. about the same or less than the whelen
Reminds me of classic police beacons. I do have to say that the led units look rather odd.

Do u have a video of the new force mini bar? I have been bugging them to make an nforce mini bar for years.
We'll be presenting it very soon. Stay tuned :)
Chris/Stewart, will this light or does it have a pattern that will simulate a rotator?
They do offer a Rotating Pattern.
The NRoad Mini-bar's also offer Rotating Patterns.
Hi guys. Does the cruise mode flicker in real life or was it down to the camera?
It's an effect caused by the Camera's. First hand, the light glows cleanly and without any flickering.
+SIRENNET Thank you.
Considering all soundoff LED beacons and Whelen ROTA-BEAM LED beacons, which do you all think gets your attention the best?
From Soundoff, we would say the Dual Stack NRoad's Beacon would offer the brightest output. From Whelen, the R316 Rota-Beam or L31 would offer the highest output.
+SIRENNET so which do you think is the brightest?

Will there be a red/blue configuration? Seems like an obvious choice of colors, but they seem to have forgotten the blue LEDs :/

Will there be a video for the mPOWER Fascia soon too? Other than the live show video
There sure will. We plan to show all 3 styles as well as a few different color sets.
That sounds great, looking forward to it!
this is a cool warning Light for this give 1 (A) with a star from germany 👍
Any word if they'll add other colours for the fire or boat markets?
The nRoad Beacon's can be done in custom color configurations. Should the need arise for Blue's, Red's and even Green's, they can be configured in single, dual and tri-color combinations.
Is there a way to make the rotation go in the opposite direction?
Unfortunately not. They only go the one direction.
could you ordered this in amber, green
They can indeed be offered in a Green/Amber configuration.
can the nROAD be set to flood white on both levels ?
where can I buy two of these and how much do they cost
For Pricing and Ordering, please visit our NRoads Beacon page here: sirennet.com/store/product/soundoff-nroads-led-high-dome-beacon. Thank You.
been waiting for soundoff to bring out a nforce beacon, very nice beacon, could you steady on both levels for white ?
The White can be set to Steady on both levels for maximum illumination.
dose the nRoad have any front/rear cut, & from the spec sheet it has 9 modes is that right ?
For Cruise and Steady, you can program the front and rear if needed. 9 Modes is currently correct.
