@@florensds6547 He didn't reupload anyone's video. He simply used someone's design and gave credit were credit was due. Shulkercraft put in work editing, adding music and focus on making the content easy to follow/enjoy. Also, because Shulkercraft makes builds in survival It makes it simpler to follow for those who want to do the same, or who aren't sure if they can tackle it in their own world. I for one would have never seen the original creators video If it wasn't credited. But, because of Shulkercraft's video I checked out the original creators content. From my perspective Shulkercraft isn't doing anything wrong.
@@florensds6547 İlmango's explanation are good but his tutorials are too fast and he just flies around in creative, makes it hard to follow for the more casual players.

Your tutorials in survival are so helpful. Much more so than those who zip through the tutorial in creative. You also seem to distill your written directions down to descriptive enough to simplify following along.
this worked perfectly even a year later and on 1.20.1 yet for Java. thanks for also including the world in the description with easy access to the entrance. I was able to test this in 1.20.1 before building it to make sure it worked. I had one person share their world like this and they didn't make the entrance easily accessible and never found the entrance so ty for providing the world where I started right at the entrance. you're awesome and loved the video although it was hard to follow in spots.
I've SOLVED the issue of this WORKING for BEDROCK. At time stamp 3:51 when setting up redstone circuit for the outer most piston, add comparator coming out of obsidian, then 2 red stone dust, therefore extending the length of the setup by 1, turn and place your repeater set to 2nd tick, followed by an elevated redstone dust then connect to piston with redstone dust. Repeat on the opposite side. And your welcome lol.

@@ProvokeEqual if you did it exactly the way the video shows, and you have java, it should work, if it doesn't work then you may have the bedrock version of Minecraft which are the changes I've posted are for. Which is for bedrock, meaning console, pocket edition, and windows editions of Minecraft.

It's possible to switch the obsidian for Glazed terracotta it youwant something less demanding since the non-stickiness, elrather than asthetic appeal or blast resistance is the most important factor

yes, but you have to mess with the repeater timings a bit. bedrock pistons are slightly slower than java so the redstone doesnt work the same. add one tick to the repeaters facing into the double piston extenders.
also, while building, some things might break because of how observers interact when being placed.
No it doesn't work on bedrock because note block doesn't work underwater I lost my precious time

No, the Upward elevator you asking to make with soul sand only works with full water source blocks (which cant be here).

If you're having the problem with the honey/slime blocks getting stuck and not opening all the way, here's what I've figured out. After spending about 10 minutes messing around with the configuration of the blocks/pistons, I found out that I had accidentally forgotten to tap one of the repeaters to the second tick, so that was causing the entire piston contraption to mess up.
TLDR; if your door isn't opening all the way and some blocks (most likely slime) are getting stuck, double check that all of your repeaters are set to the right tick.

You will only notice the note block if you are looking for it, you could hide it inside seagrass though.
I think you could use a stone button too (i think).

Can someone explain why the hoppers and 16 blocks are needed? And why obsidian? I’m not to familiar with red stone lol
When i place the 16 items in the hopper the piston on the left starts opening and closing over and over it doesn't pull back and stop for me like it does for you.
What would make this not work on a realm? Cause I built this precisely as shown and it was working perfect until another realm player joined and now I hear pistons firing when I hit the block but nothing happens

it would be better to have the heart of the sea protect the underwater base from hostile mobs under the sea and pump oxygen when there is no door (can only pump oxygen in java version) or bucket
can u use another thing to open and close the door?
does it have to be obsidian? or you just adding them for funsies?
