wow you would need to be a millionaire to own a property like that in uk........ hope your mate bounces back , I have lost jobs myself & slowly managed to claw my way back & now currently in my best job . so send my thoughts & prayers for your mate
So beautiful and I just love the inside of the home. What a preppers paradise or anybody who would love a country lifestyle. Sorry to hear about your buddy losing his job what a shame.
That is a sweet set up. Something similar in Wyoming would easily cost another 200K at least. It is exactly what I am looking for...but I couldnt make the move (right now). Best of luck/prayers for the seller. It will sell...hopefully quick enough to help them out. Thanks for sharing...lots of good ideas on layout of a homestead!
Awesome property with everything you need already installed. Wow I would love to have a place like that. Hopefully he will find a nice replacement where ever life takes them!
Why is it, to so many people, that living HEALTHY comes long down on the list of what is important? I would rather live a simple life, be healthy, and be around long enough to enjoy it. This place looks wonderful. What a grand environment to raise a family.
To own a few acres within other privately owned acres would be super private and cool. What a gorgeous place that was/is. A spring fed bottled water company would be sweet ! Not to mention the gardens a person could achieve wow.
Wow that’s beautiful, very sorry he lost his job, lost this place, the ideal Prepper Paradise ! I wish publishers clearing House would show up soon, I would buy that place in a heartbeat, thank you for showing us 775
Thanks for sharing this Scott. It shows what is possible for off-grid living. The place is quite nice, really awesome setting, all the infrastructure with buildings, pond, spring, etc. is just amazing. Too far above my budget, or I'd be on it like a duck on a June bug. It as nearly perfect as any homestead I've looked at. This would definitely be a good setup for an intentional community of self-reliant/self-sufficient folks. Especially, if they were to acquire the additional property, too. Do you know if it is being handled by the same agent?
🙏Prayers for the poor owner who had to leave this magnificent place.I could only dream of living here.It would be perfect for an animal sanctuary that I have wanted my entire life.
Radiation is good for ya, it makes ya grow real tall and also you can grow extra limbs in case something has to be replaced. Also makes your crops grow really big.
I wish the family the best in the relocation for this is heartbreaking. Just remember, the economy is doing great just convince these poor soles losing their jobs
In California that property would be well over 1.5 to 2 million. I am in the market and 350k would not get me anything near that. Such a beautiful property a steal at that price.
+Southeastern Ohio Homestead Looks to be about 3 acres with a 3,500 sq ft house. $190k est. Probably could cut off that corner and still have plenty of boundary around the house.
Beautiful house its such a shame the owner lost his job and has to sell it, did he not have it paid off? Sorry not trying to get into his business, oh its so beautiful, if i had the money id definitely buy that property, its been an absolute dream of mine to have that style of farmhouse and go totally off grid and be self sufficient and have a homestead plus i hear NC is gorgeous!!! Plus those birds in the background its so picturesque!!
#Prepared Suburbanite wow you would need to be a millionaire to own a property like that in uk........ hope your mate bounces back , I have lost jobs myself & slowly managed to claw my way back & now currently in my best job . so send my thoughts & prayers for your mate @Mark Blemings
#flysubcompact +Dean Logan Seen that map, but thanks. Yes would be nice if someone would stay, contain and supply power. However the entire world's resources has not effectively contained/ cleaned up one Fukashima, so the chances of enough people having the know how after shtf to try to contain and cleanup those many plants are slim to none. @Nike Flowers
+Allie Metcalf A decade ago, your statements would have offended me, being born, raised and living in NC for the most part of 46 years...Eastern NC the last 30. I use to think it was the greatest and most beautiful state in the world but now, unfortunately, I agree with you almost totally, although I would take that house and property for free in a second !! North Carolina has been being "sold out to the highest bidders" so to speak, for many years now and I've seen and felt the change/s and hated it ! I've never seen so much greed and a total brainless government...it's like they're out to get their own people now in any way they can ! It costs more and more for less and less, every year if not twice, across the board, not to mention health insurance and a couple other topics that boil my blood I won't go in to. Anyway, I saw your comment and it struck a cord and I could go on with it but I'm not. It's sad but true, North Carolina has become a monetized, melting pot, dump and if it weren't for the family, friends and work I still have here I would seek better and never thought I would say that a few years ago. E775 will probably remove this anyway. What state do you live in ?
+engineer775 Practical Preppers Have you heard of the "Bathroom Law"? You know, introduced, debated, and passed into law in 12 hours? Stunning what we let our politicians get away with. NC just took a huge step backwards in a very shady way and I'd drive well out of my way to avoid even buying gas in that state right now.
+Stucknarutt In CA for now but only for professional reasons. Not sure there is a rational choice any more, it seems like our country is becoming more and more polarized over so may issues.
I don't know how to work a wood stove so I couldn't move in with a wood stove if I have no idea how to work a wood stove I'd be burning everything on the stove I'd rather have a gas stove but I don't have to worry about that cuz I'll never have the money to buy that place even though I'd love to have it. it's up to the Lord where he wants me to live . he knows I would like to have a places like that so if he wants to give one he will
the floors need to be redone and a few other things,,, not saying that it cant be worth the money ..if the floors and repaint the inside and out .. Just saying im always looking for good buys....
A springbox always contains ways to remove the silt that comes from the springhead. They were also used for refrigeration so you'll see compartments. a cistern is just a storage vessel.
+engineer775 Practical Preppers This is a nice place, but doesn't western NC have nuclear power plants? I don't think it is safe to be near them on a good day much less during SHTF. Civil unrest or illness will cause people not to go to work at the plant. Would the water get contaminated if there were a problem at the plant?
Mr. Engineer 775, when you are showing a house, PLEASE don't swing the camera around so quickly. It is difficult to focus on the rooms, not to mention it makes a person dizzy!
would the previous owner want to come back to help run the place? also, how much to put solar/geothermal in with battery backup? how much to put inm the woodstove in the kitchen? how much to put a fridge in? how much to buy a few goats or a milk cow? how much for ducks or chickens? or both for eggs? what kind of fruit trees/vines/berries availabe on teh land? where is this located?
+Elizabeth Pendleton The monthly electric bill would be more of a concern. Central A/C, electric heat pump, two out buildings with 100 Amp sub panels. The price is quite a value considering it is 52 acres and includes all of the out buildings.
Not bad for 340K but the wrong location of the United States that's if I wanted to buy it. I own 9 AC in Montana and we are a free state we don't put up with the federal government's bullshit we kicked them out
Mary Greeley is a half truther , just like many others , if there was radiation myself and tons and tons of patriots would be moving did you know the mrdoom lives in montana and he hasnt said anything bout it either

I hate the fellow lost his job and has to sell. Nice place. hope his move brings him something better eventually.
wow you are a great guy and God hears you and your loved ones luv yo
So beautiful and I just love the inside of the home. What a preppers paradise or anybody who would love a country lifestyle. Sorry to hear about your buddy losing his job what a shame.
You did a very beautiful video of this homestead. I will keep watching for more that may be in my price range. Congratulations on a job well done!
I wonder if the water flows on that spring is enough to power a hydro electric motor?
Wish I had 338k more than I have now. Beautiful place. I hope things take an upswing for the owner.
That's sad he had to sell. I'll be praying for them.

A prepper's dream. Great location and super amenities. Priced right. This won't last long. Thanks Scott for sharing.

Great video. Very informative and inspirational. Thanks for sharing!

So sorry for the veteran that lost his job. (I'm aassuming as you mentioned VA loan)
amazing property for the price. I very much hope that it works out for the owner.
Wow that’s beautiful, very sorry he lost his job, lost this place, the ideal Prepper Paradise ! I wish publishers clearing House would show up soon, I would buy that place in a heartbeat, thank you for showing us 775
Reminds of my home in Africa! The price is reasonable compared to North East, I reckon the taxes are not bad in NC.
If I had the $ I would buy it today. Hope the seller bounces back fast.
I lo e this place. This is a dream for me. My heart goes out to the people who lost it.
Sweet ... very nice property!
Thanks for sharing this Scott. It shows what is possible for off-grid living.

Boy I'm a vet and haven't had a first home yet. Wish I could afford that place.
Cory Boyd
When I looked at this I immediately thought it would suit a bunch of homeless Veterans with the required skills.
Radiation is good for ya, it makes ya grow real tall and also you can grow extra limbs in case something has to be replaced. Also makes your crops grow really big.
If I was 35 years younger. Beautiful place
Stock the pond! great future food source for years to come.
Very nice I could see myself on that deck
What a sweet piece of property
Next owner, build 2 miles of water-harvesting swales on this one, it has the potential for these to deliver.
beautiful property which must be relatively close to me.
very sad..... must be heartbreaking to sell that small paradise !!!!
I wish the family the best in the relocation for this is heartbreaking. Just remember, the economy is doing great just convince these poor soles losing their jobs
I called today
It is GONE Unfortunately
Hope to find similar land
Great place for a Distillery
Pap
Mine's a Jameson!
This video is very unfortunate occurrence for original tenant. Hopefully your effort will assist a family that can be an asset to the community.
Wow. Wish we could afford it!
Very nice!!!
In California that property would be well over 1.5 to 2 million. I am in the market and 350k would not get me anything near that. Such a beautiful property a steal at that price.
I would build there in the undergound a huge Bunker. The Ducks protect me :D
Nice to know where to find at least one safehouse when SHTF! :-)
Beautiful........
I love it.
Beautiful place! Must have broken his heart to sell it!
beautiful spot
List price is $339,800 in the description incase someone missed it.
I could not get a barn for that much here in the Bay Area. O well
JasonEd7 What Bay Area?!? 😩 😂😂😂
Nice place. Even i do live in Germany, but if i would have the money, i would buy this :D Nice place.
That's a freaking beautiful property. Reminds me of my families property.
Your family
How many families do you have? Just wondering.
nice tour thanks for da share
Permaculture Homestead da???
I'm guessing this property has a happy owner,,, fantastic turnkey homestead property!
I could move there!
Sad to see such a good place have to go.
Thats a nice place, strange that a land locked lot sits in the middle of it though.

What is the Address so that I can Google the location? My wife and I are currently looking for a farmstead in western North Carolina.
Please what is address
😍 beautiful
goodness.
if only it was in the Wicklow mountains....
damen whelan
You'd be snowbound in the winter up there. I live on a hillside in the south east, Kilkenny and that can be hairy betimes.
Thats a good price!!!!!!!
Gorgeous property, wish I was rich!!
The house was built in 1986, but the floors and everything is much older? So, was it just renovated or added onto in 1986?
$339K is so cheap
Won't sell for near that being empty it's more in the buyers hand they clearly need to unload it .
I wish I had 300k lying around - I'm sure someone will snap it up at that price after seeing this video.
At 2:49 in the video, what was the device you had in your hands?
What can you tell us about the other property located close by
nice area - thanks for the video
Wow very nice, but that would be too much house.
whereabouts in western NC? close to?
very nice though with much customization
Free is too much for a house in NC now. I wonder if the clocks in the house are 150 years behind too.
What do you base that on?

Could you please show the asking price for these properties.
It's in the description.

Fab house would suit a big family like the Waltons , how far is it from the nearest town ? 👍🏻🇮🇪
beautiful place, could you tell me what the nearest town or city is?

bkodra Looking at the nuclear plant map western NC is in a 100 mile ring of nuclear plant.
?, Where do our minerals come from, you know, but no one will provide answer when ask.
Lee Partin
Here in Ireland, the public houses call 'soda' minerals. Are these what you are referring to or the minerals in the soil and ground?
Mr. Engineer 775, when you are showing a house, PLEASE don't swing the camera around so quickly. It is difficult to focus on the rooms, not to mention it makes a person dizzy!
Are there any properties like this one for sale today?
what is the blue device your holding dose that track solar
Duck Duck Go!
My wife and I are interested but the phone number listed doesnt work. How much do they want for the other property?

Where is the spring??
Someone needs to save those 2 ducks and the chicken. I can help, but where are they located?

Methinks that's why at the intro. to the video the seller mentioned solar as a suggestion?

dont think so little dude...there is a ton of mis-info on the net

no their isnt..i live in montana and would be the first ones to know quit believing the media
YT- Mary Greeley Channel- full address and article can be found there.
Mary Greeley is a half truther , just like many others , if there was radiation myself and tons and tons of patriots would be moving did you know the mrdoom lives in montana and he hasnt said anything bout it either

Real life strikes again...
