@@martymartin2894 Terence Stamp, Sara Douglas, & Jack O’Halloran were all in the first Superman at the very beginning when Marlon Brando is sentencing them to the Phantom Zone. You don’t see them again until the second movie. Superman 1 and 2 were being filmed back-to-back by Richard Donner until the Salkinds fired him after the first movie was completed before he got to finish the second film. They replaced him with Richard Lester who completed Superman 2.
Hey, it's you from the Amityville UA-cam video! A few months ago we were talking about George's anger, lol. Just wanted to say, hi! And yes, Sarah does look great!
It was a great rememberance. It's funny to think about how many hundreds of movies are made every year and how many crazy cast stories there must be for all of them. But yet there will only be a handful of movies ever made where fans will still want to hear those stories 40 years later. Superman is one of them. It's an incredible legacy for all the cast and crew involved. It's also truly stunning that we are still getting new cuts and edits of the movies put out on video every few years. I do hope we get an ultimate extended cut of Superman II soon that is based on all the extended TV versions. I also hope they ask Sarah to redub her voice for her scenes to clear up the inconsistency with restored scenes that use the on-set dialogue and theatrical scenes that have redubbed dialogue. Sarah's voice is even more magnificent today than it was then and this would really give her a chance to put a final, definitive touch on her great performance.
Sarah Douglas , I loved her in superman, she's beautiful, gene hackman was a lucky man, when he was flown to the north pole by Sarah Douglas. She still looks beautiful talking about Lois lane, another beautiful lady! RIP Margot kidder❤️. Love you Sarah you're superwoman❤️❤️❤️....
Oh, what a sweet interview. Yes, Margot Kidder will be sorely missed. And Sarah Douglas, I hope you won't hate me for this but you had a guest spot in another of my favourite franchises, so here goes: Tok'ra, kree! :) Greetings and love from the Faroe Islands.
Such a great villain Sarah Douglas AKA Ursa still looking beautiful the Superman movies with Christopher Reeves came out way before I was born wasn’t born until May 13th 1996 I remember watching it when I was a kid and this Superman is my childhood
I was a kiddo when Superman was released and I remember my parents taking me to see it. Like Kidder, my parents were also baby boomers and the free-spirit-types. And like Kidder, my parents also struggled with addiction. So when Kidder passed, my ❤ went to her daughter and grandchildren because I can relate to that pain and loss. Although Kidder's generation may not have been perfect in some of their lifestyle choices, I learned to appreciate the new attitudes they brought from the 60s of love and acceptance towards all. Sorry, Superman, but nothing could be bigger and better than that.
I just became your 1,000th subscriber :+) I had the rare opportunity to meet you and the cast at Jim Bower's Superman Reunion at WonderCon. Margot crossed my mind today and I found your channel. Hope you are well!
I would have loved to have gone to a convention and met many members of the cast. I bet Margot still looks down and remembers the great times you all had.
I see this article is showing a few deleted scenes from Superman 2. I love the one deleted scene from Superman 2-not shown here-where Superman is given back his powers by Jor El. I always thought Superman 2 had a big plot gap by not including that. When I first saw 2 I always assumed that the green crystal gave him back his powers.
Maybe I'm seeing it all from my own bias (?) but I get the impression from all the years of learning about the figures of movie yesterday year actors and actresses were more laid back and talent came 1st? My point is - Kidder and Reeve were authentic and not fake. Compare "Superman 2" to "Man of Steel". Everything felt forced in MOS. All the women playing Lois since have been pretty and good looking but lacked a depth of substance that Kidder bought and of course yourself bought. The simple fact is when you've lived a life it will be translated to the screen. From the 70s onwards kids have had maybe life a little too safe? You were and always will be heroes of mine.
Sarah Douglas should have played Evil Lyn in the live action He-Man film, Masters of the Universe, because she was the "spitting image" of the cartoon version and sounded exactly like her. Though the sapphire-eyed Meg Foster did a fine job playing that role, the characters should have stayed on Eternia and never came to Earth (what an awful idea from the script writers).
Plenty of actors have worked for both DC and Marvel. Ben Affleck, Dolph Lundgren, Halle Berry, James Marsden, Ryan Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Tommy Lee Jones, and others.
Oh, Sarah Douglas is much dearer and more human than that dreadful Ursa. I get it, they call it acting, but those three villains were some of the silver screen's most evil.
Sarah Douglas is still so beautiful.
Yes, she is.
She was an amazing female villain.
True. They mention that she was in superman 1 aswell but I don't remember her in that. What role did she play.

It’s a diamond-shaped glassy object. As they’re flying away, you can hear her begging, “Forgive me! Forgive me!”.
Sarah looks great. No hideous collagen injections or botched surgeries.

She was Deathwalker in Babylon 5 also.
Sarah Douglas is so beautiful as a older woman now she still has her younger features from her face.
Wow! We LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! Ms.Sarah.
Greetings coming from the Philippines
What a class act. Thank you for speaking so fondly of her.

So classy Sarah Douglas
Sarah was also wonderful on Falcon Crest...the powers that were should have done a lot more with her part!
I expected Sarah Douglas to become a big star after the two Superman films. She was agreat adversary to Superman.

Sarah Douglas was so great and evil and camp and just BRILLIANT

Ursa is Alive. Cant believe she loves Loise Lane. She Will be here in "Houston" for ever.
Terence, Jack and Sarah admitted in interviews that they found Christopher Reeve very difficult to work with, calling him a diva.
Sarah Douglas has the distinction of having done both a D.C. project and a Marvel (Conan The Destroyer)
Wrong, marvel doesn’t own Conan. The rights get licensed not owned. Right now it’s licensed by Titan comics
Plenty of actors have worked for both DC and Marvel. Ben Affleck, Dolph Lundgren, Halle Berry, James Marsden, Ryan Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Tommy Lee Jones, and others.
I still think Margot was the best Lois Lane of them all. I like Amy, but Margot is still best.
She’s a cool lady for sure. Nice gal
Sarah looks amazing & jack o who played non looked better in the dvd box set specials from 06.
Was she not in Falcon Crest?
Indeed she did
She was great in superman 2 gave the movie alot of weight.
Margot Kidder is the Lois Lane that all other Lois Lanes aspire to be
Lovely lady
i heard Montanna has the suicide rate

Margots the only lois lane!!!
