I live in indonesia where frozen, prepackaged foods are expensive. And they're only available in grocery stores that are far away from my house. Instead, my fridge is filled with cabbage, raw chicken, beansprouts, eggs, and other cheapest stuff from traditional market. And when i'm hungry, i just stir fry them all on wok with some garlics and instant seasonings. It takes much more effort but feels so fulfilling and satisfying

Fun video! I knew Birdseye was the innovator in frozen vegetables, didn't know the rest of it. I work for the company that now owns Birds Eye and Hungry Man. My plant produces their varieties of mashed cauliflower, as well as broccoli bakes and potato bakes. Working at a frozen food plant is a boon for an old goat that never did learn how to cook! 😂 Only problem being, during this pandemic fiasco, we're working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! As you might guess, summer is the slow season for frozen food... Not last summer! And we're not expecting any kind of slowdown for next summer!!

@@derekparsons3363 Depending on what it is, I still prefer to get my food non-frozen, especially meat. Frozen meat after some time takes in a lot of water, which can ruin the meat's integrity.
