It's been 5 months we're not seeing this type of FTMO Challenges and Verifications, it's depressing, we those are trying to get prepared, this kind of video inspire us, I hope FTMO should consider this, at the same time we understand those practical rules how the successful traders pass their ways.
Simon was doing great account analysis and explaining all account review in most easily understandable manner. now they replace with just stupid phycologist video and

i noticed that if you close the trade manually , the stoploss and take profit is not printed on the trading journal in the web page,so that's might be the reason some people in some trades have stoploss and other don't ,

on ctrader, if you dont write the price as your stop loss and use the pip section instead, the stop loss comes up as 0 on the ftmo platform even though stop loss is in place

Am I correct in assuming that only the days on which the trades are active count towards the challenge? (i am swingtrader)
If I hold a trade for 5 days, there is no setup for the next 20 days, I still have 25 days for the challenge?
Is it possible to move the second stage with completed four objectives and violet one example minimum trading days it says 10, what if an individual has 5 or less than 10?
say you failed to reach profit target but didnt violate daily dd and max dd and you get a free re take… do you have the ability to choose when the re take starts or does it start asap after your previous attempt?

If you meet the rules for a Free repeat, you need to wait until your trading period ends. Then you will receive a new FTMO Challenge. After that, you can start trading whenever you decide. The new trading period begins once you open your first trade.

Just wondering out of curiosity, does completing the objectives qualify as a "passed challenege", or the things that are being judged in this video, like how and where the profits were made, also affect if you pass or not?

Once you meet all trading objectives and your results are verified, you will pass the FTMO Challenge. There are no other rules.

@@leekiely8418 i dont think there is , as long as you are not in one of the countries that they dont cater to
sometimes I execute a trade and set my SLs afterwards, maybe that´s the reason the summary does only recognize SLs set before executing, and shows as if not set.
Please, I would like to know. Can I hold my position over weekends(swing)?

On normal account you need to ask them before wednsday noon I think so they can assess risk, on swing accounts you can hold positions through weekend and news events without problem.

Can you share the stats on how many people pass vs fail the challenge/verification per week?
They used to say 8% pass
1 in 5 give or take…20% maximum
They made a video about it a while ago, i think it’s something like 5-8%, which is consistent with the fact that over 90% of forex traders lose money
@FTMO please after passing the evaluation processes and I get funded, will my previous month's metrics continue the second month or it will be cleared and will be a brand new one monthly?

In demo it gets deactivated after 7 days of not trading, why? Thats quite annoying. Is the same happens with challenge?
just trade a low lot size everyday
well you only get 14 days for each Demo trial, so if you've not trade for half the time which would be 7 days, it makes sense on their part to close it. knowing that they receive high volume of demo account being open daily, therefore to keep the Demo system efficient they have to close idle Demo accounts, i would say. i am trading Demo currently, If you are not trading the Demo as if your are doing a Paid challenge, it really don't make sense to opening one. I have a guess for the SL thing: in my profile history, SL are not always shown, the reason why, in my opinion is that probably if you set SL and TP graphically (in cTrader platform) and not in the moment of the opening of your position, you will not get your SL registered on your history.

RRR Ain’t as Important or an Indicator of Profitability as much as Win % and Profit Factor…Because the Latter means that their Strategy or Technique actually Works and Works Efficiently 🤑
Say your RRR is 5, win rate 60% profits are 1K while my RRR is 1, my win rate 90% and 5K profits….Which is Better huh 🤔🤑
The profits depend on capital bro. Also, much rather have a 5R and 60% then a 1R and 90%.
Let’s take a €100k account for example;
To be AT LEAST profitable with 5R is a 20% win rate, which is 2/10 trades, which is €10k. Now imagine 60%
To be AT LEAST profitable with 1R is a 60% win rate, which is 6/10 trades, which is €6k.
Now imagine how hard it is to get 90% of the trades right every week, while the other trader just needs two trades. Average win rate is 50% to 80%

the fact that traders cant hold trades in weekends sucks.
There is swing ftmo type account for that.
I hold trades in my swing ftmo account. Only Day Trade type accounts can't hold...
