Neat old LeSabre Dave...could not have ended up in the hands of a better caretaker. I’d be inclined to leave it cosmetically the way it is and slip a 6L/4L80 with a cam, springs and turn into it. Love that it’s a post less sedan.
My dad and uncle loved Buicks and had several of them. My dad had a 65 Skylark (First new car he brought when he got out of the service in 64) and a 76 (Thieves stole it) and 79, both Lesabre's. My uncle also had a 76 Lesabre coupe, an 83 Lesabre and a 88 Park Avenue.
Looks like a really nice project car. I'm wondering if all that body damage came from an elderly driver rubbing it into things. That looks like a really nice storage facility. Is this where you keep your "extra" cars?
The guy I bought it from got it from the original owner, it spent a lot of time in NY City, I blame they for a lot of dents. This is my new monthly storage for a few cars. Bonus is I can work on them here and it's next door to where I work

I remember as a kid my great aunt had one just like that, she had it since it was new to 2007.
