I don't see why a lot of people think "they ruined the song", personally I really like this version aswell - of course nothing can beat the original but in my opinion this is a great re-imagination of the song, the chorus was freakin' amazing.
I say that this iteration is even greater than the original, but that may be because I'm a choir kid and don't appreciate Imagine Dragons' tone quality. They're good, but not fantastic.
I think Max owned this one :D It looks almost painful for him, we can feel his torment, his expressions fit the lyrics and the song perfectly. Just because of how much I adore Imagine Dragons, I have to admit I prefer the original. But this gave me chills. Max has a husky voice & with Sam it's like that his voice is a little sharp so he is easily able to pull off higher notes. But both the voices are great.

i love this cover! i just think its actually kind of hard for people to cover an imagine dragons song because of Dan's ( lead singer ) unique voice.
That's true if you know who Imagine Dragons is. I don't, which makes it great - I can listen to the cover as a song standing on it's own. Love it!

Haha, yeah. Max has a much more huskier voice, as if he is out of oxygen and is trying to grasp for the sparse air. I guess that's an attractive feature of older men. (And his beard of course :P).
