Ron here from Friendly Farm Machinery & Tool, Co. That was a great video! I have the Del Morino 26" brush mower, I think the flail has several advantages after seeing it operate. I find it amazing what these "walking tractors" can do! Good luck with sales, but, I think the "word is getting out"! For Mr. Suburban farmer, these machines are the ticket! Have fun and keep the videos coming!
Hi. Depends what size the stones/rocks are. All the blades are "hinged" so when they hit a rock they flail opposite direction to absorb energy. Thanks!
Hi @albertphillips3313 | Not sure exactly what you mean by "binding up", but assuming you are talking about the blade rotor. No "binding up" of the blade rotor in this video. thanks for watching!
2" Thick a brush mower would work better. Flail mower could do 1" softwood. One of my customers thins out/cuts back overgrown blueberries with a 47" Dual-action sickle mower. I have a video on that from years ago. I will try and get it posted. thanks!
Hi James. Thanks for posting. I respectfully disagree. Unless you buy some China piece of junk, there is no way you can buy a brand new 4 wheel tractor and "bush hog" for $3,500. If instead you are saying someone could buy a used 4 wheel tractor and used "bush hog", that may be possible. However, that is not an accurate comparison. Comparing a new 2 wheel tractor to a used 4 wheel tractor makes no sense. Many of my customers want a new piece of equipment for their business so they don't have to worry about anything breaking down and slowing them down. For those that prefer 4 wheel tractors, they should buy them. And those that need a 2 wheel tractor, same thing. They are 2 very different pieces of equipment as far as "scale". I have both, and personally I much prefer my 2 wheel tractors. Riding around on a 4-wheel tractor is quite boring. But there are certainly a few things one can't do with a 2 wheel tractor. A loader for example. But I think there is plenty of room for folks to prefer one or the other OR like both of them.
@@DaileysFarmTools - Agree. I´ll had that for tight/smaller areas and specially slope conditions. The walk behind is the winner. More than enough for most users. Although in open and flatter fields the 4 wheel takes the palm. Notice that in slopes the 4 wheel it´s not just inconvenient, it´s simply dangerous. With this said both have perfectly good areas of application. Price wise that´s correct considering both in "new" condition. The 2 wheel is way cheaper. Cheers

Sir i am from India, how I can purchase this product
Does it work if there are stones between the grass ?
It probably will work, but wear down your flails fast in the best case or simply shear the bolts holding the flails in the worst case.

It looked like the machine was binding up on the left side right before they switched to another view
