    I was lucky enough to have one of your altered book tutorials come up in my recommended list yesterday.. After watching you make that gorgeous art work, I subscribed, and I am happily working my way through all of your videos. Your work is stunning, and I like the length of your videos. Long enough to show plenty of detail, without getting so long they start to get boring. You have a new fan!

    I love how you use the side of the card to frame the pages. I am bluntly steal that trick! 😂thanks. It is already a tool I use a lot but never this way. Clever!

    Oh yeah, mr fox really needed a bit of shading… inktense bark would also have worked great.❤

    Fantastic, napkin is so effective!
    What were you using after your coloured pencil when shading that makes the shading stand out more please?

      @SpiritofNatureArt  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks Ali, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! With the shading I used two different tones of pastel pencil, then on the sentiment I used a pigma micron pen and on Mr Fox a charcoal pencil :-)

      @@SpiritofNatureArt thank you Caroline. After using the colours, you were rubbing it with a white thing 🤔

    • @SpiritofNatureArt
      @SpiritofNatureArt  2 роки тому +2

      Ah sorry, I see what you mean! It's a blending stump or Tortillion - it's essentially a rolled up paper pencil that you rub the pastel or charcoal with to smudge it. Or you can use your finger if you don't mind getting messy!
