Love seeing a video that focuses on the ingredients and the process rather than watching somebody talking for 10 minutes
I love your videos because you don't do the excessive chatter that many youtube recipe vids do. lol sometimes I get so distracted by what they are saying I have to rewind the video a bunch of times.
Hahaha, thanks so much! :)
same
I made this and it was delicious. The frosting had a little trouble bc I don't have the actual tools. I just have my inexperienced hands. HOWEVER, everything was delicious. This recipe is 💯 My family loved it. 💕
Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful delicious piece of edible art. Definitely will be doing this AGAIN!
Everytime people ask me about vegan cooking inspiration, I mention Hot For Food and The Edgy Veg. From now one when someone ask my about vegan cooking inspiration, I'll simply say "Hot For Food, The Edgy Veg and Loving it Vegan"
Thanks so much! That is awesome!! 😘❤️
I made this recipe just now; I only used sunflower oil, coconut milk, and natural red food color powder in my recipe.
I can’t wait to eat it!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to make cake that doesn’t crumble, I get so mad when it does! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Tried it...owesome thank you so much...😘😘😘

Newly vegetarian - on my way to vegan. I have been gradually cutting things out as I go and wanted to make my favorite cake for my birthday, this looks like a really good option so far.
First vegan Red Velvet cake I want to eat!

This recipe was really good but might have to bake it for abit longer cause I found that mine was too soft and it broke and I had to reconstruct it and it ended up becoming dense cause of that
hi, i made this tonight for a birthday party. the batter looked red, kind of a pale but red enough looking to use (it wasnt like pastel or so), and when it came out the oven it was light brownish not red :/ , it also didnt quite rise all so well. the batter tasted great though! Any suggestions?
Yumm !
:)
Any replacement for vanilla extract.
please keep posting videos!! i love them!!(:
Thank you so much! We definitely will! :)
can i make it without white Vinegar n use corn oil or coconut oil instead of olive oil?
helloo nice recipe!!! May I ask if u can taste the soy milk ok the vinegar ? thank uu so much already subscribed
You definitely can't taste them, all you taste is the most delicious cake! However, if you prefer to switch these out for another oil or plant-based milk, you can.
looks like another recipe that we will have to try. loving your recipes! where did you get the red food dye?
Thanks Reece! The red dye we used for this was a brand called Foster Clark's which they confirmed to me is definitely vegan. However, if you can't get that one then any red food dye that says it's for use in baking should work great, the non-vegan ingredient to look out for is carmine/cochineal. :)
Loving It Vegan ok great
Thank you!
awesome channel , just subscribed 😊
👍
Thank God you didn't use coconut cream from a can like most people do!
Hello! It's the best recipe I've ever seen! Can I replace soy milk for coconut milk?
Sure!
Can I just use Lemon juice? Or does it have to be freshly squeezed
I've only used freshly squeezed, but I guess any version of lemon juice should work out the same. Not 100% sure though!
is it ok to substitute white vinegar for apple cider vinegar
Shriya Hebbar I've do that before it wasn't terrible but it had the slightest hint of a kind of mustard taste wasn't bad but it's way better with white vinegar
Can i use almond milk...?
Yes, you can.
can I just use all the ingredients except for butter for the frosting?
I've never tried to make frosting with zero vegan butter before, you can experiment but I have no idea how it would turn out.
Bella Rosa try soild coconut oil
Can you taste the olive oil?
Nope! But you can use a different vegetable oil if you prefer.
what's the vegan butter you are using ? name the brand please
I use Nuttelex, it's an Australian brand. :)
I'm finding it difficult to get a hold the butter. Can I substitute it with other vegan butters like peanut or almond ??
where was the where was the curdled soy milk used
AnimeCreep141 it was used in the cake as the title of Vegan Buttermilk 🤗
❤️💛💚🇬🇧
There’s no need of egg replacer or flaxseed?
No, it works great without! I sometimes use flax eggs in my cakes but not always and they work out great!
i hate youtube videos with long intros where the person is talking and talking for 5-7 minutes. no one cares. just get to the video. thank you for not being that person -___-
