I've seen both of your videos on Lingopie and you have provided 100% honesh feedback, even this time you have affiliatation with Lingopie. Language Reactor does have one major issue that it doesn't provide noun's article which is a major thing in German. Any Solution?
Thanks, I really appreciate it. You've made a really good point and highlighted something which Lingopie does provide, that Language Reactor does not at this time. When you click on a word in Lingopie, you can click "Details" and it'll show a small window letting you know the article's gender, if it's singular/plural, and 1st/2nd/3rd person. I've filmed a super short video showing what it looks like in Lingopie: go.screenpal.com/watch/cZjQQCV9oA9
I would recommend just using Language Reactor, it has so much more, also the pro version will allow ASR so all the subtitles will actually match the audio dialog.
Thank you very much for the review. Could you tell me how much content do they offer? Is it all of netflix? I'm interested in learning french, how did you find their french content?
No problem. I touched on some of these points a bit in the review. I mentioned that they offer select TV shows and movies, not the full Netflix catalog. I personally mainly just use Lingopie for German, as for French I prefer to watch UA-cam/other French TV shows.
Just got Lingopie yesterday for German, I'm finding it very difficult to find anything that's honestly entertaining and their catalogue is also just very small. Maybe I'll try it with Netflix before I cancel but though I've been loving the idea of the dual subtitles for a while I'm not enjoying this and thinking it would be better to stick to UA-cam with a translator on the side.
This has been my issue with Lingopie. Without Netflix and/or Disney+ there really isn't much compelling content. I probably won't renew my subscription next year and just go with Netflix + LR, especially with their AI subtitles.
I hear you. I found Lingopie particularly helpful at the start of my German journey, but similar to with French, once I could start understanding more types of content, found it less interesting. Can’t go wrong with UA-cam/Netflix + the alternative 👍
I am considering getting Lingopie, and your video was very helpful. Thank you.

"super short" is an understatement!!
Lingopie sounds cool but my concern is will the dual subtitles actually have any discrepancy/errors or not. This is a major concern.

Very good point 👍 I do love the ASR feature with Language Reactor Pro :)

Yes Lingopie does, I've filmed a short clip showing what it looks like in Lingopie: go.screenpal.com/watch/cZjQQCV9oA9
